  1. Activision made $800m every 4 months on Black Ops 4 since last December and all we got in-game was the shittiest and cheapest microtransactions made by a portion of the studio that get paid regardless. Everything else content-wise was pretty much withheld and expected to release anyway. I don't believe the COD community gets anything off the back of its continued investment and the more they make off of microtransactions, the more they will put in for the sake of shareholders rather than the community. Even when COD was in the gutter with Infinite Warfare, the lack of sales and playerbase did not have any impact on the post-launch support. If this was a non-AAA, self-sustainable title not bound by a year cycle and dependent on continued financial support then fair enough but COD games are pretty much produced off the back of a blank cheque and never does the community ever get anything back even on the upcoming title. Whether they make £1bn or £5bn, the game will be the same as will the support - the only difference is how much the shareholders and executives get paid off.
  2. I have seen it a zillion times either on every ad break on TV or through 90% of YouTube videos this year. I hate everyone in it and wish them nothing but hell in their future endeavors, I hate all their voices, I hate the prick playing the piano, I hate how the word 'dying' has lost its meaning from being a tragic event to simply running out of battery and I hate how Google thinks this is how people behave - if anyone on my bus in the morning turned around and said ''HELP I AM DYING'' and I said ''do you need medical assistance'' and they responded ''I need a charger'' whilst waving their laptop in my face, I would probably punch them, even a female under these circumstances, as I will not discriminate😎 If you run out of juice then fuck you and shove your device up your arse sideways.
  3. The money generated wont go to the developers - it goes straight to Activision as always. I'm pretty sure the devs have a set budget to work with regardless and it's not like the upkeep is coming out of IW's pockets either - they get their wages regardless of what work they do. Even Infinite Warfare had huge post-support despite its lack of success. The more people that buy into microtransactions like this, the more they will do it is the reality sadly.
  4. Phil is halfway there I'll say that; he's just short of numeric digits😎

  7. Eww Modern Warfare Will Show You Your Kill-Death Ratio For $20 KOTAKU.COM Modern Warfare finally offers players the ability to see their death count during matches, but what was once a staple Call of Duty feature now... You can get a real one that tells the time for that.
  8. That's what made BO4 so despicable. Full price game, season pass (renamed) microtransactions galore, battle passes plus other monetization. The only thing missing from that game was a monthly subscription as every other revenue avenue was in play.
  9. Off the top of my head 01. The Witcher 3 (PC) 02. Black Ops (PS3) 03. Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4) 04. God of War (PS4) 05. Mafia 2 (PC) 06. Grand Theft Auto V (360, PS4, PC) 07. The Last of Us (PS3/4) 08. American Truck Simulator (PC) 09. Far Cry 3 (360) 10. Portal 2 (PC) Other considerations: Saints Row 3, The Walking Dead, Dishonored 2, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Hotline Miami, Gemini Rue, Dying Light, A Hat in Time, Batman Arkham City, Uncharted 3. 13. New Xbox console confirmed The next Xbox is called... Xbox Series X | Eurogamer WWW.EUROGAMER.NET This is the real deal and not another Xbox One variant.
  14. Anyone played this? I'm thinking of grabbing it in the winter sale for around £5. I heard it was very similar to Diablo 3 with a pacing and aesthetics learning more towards Diablo 2. Seems to be a game where you really get value for money although I'd be a bit worried about it becoming a repetitive grind.

  18. The survey itself is nothing to do with the overall quality of the game - Activision clearly want to know why so many people have abandoned what was supposed to be a rejuvenating title in a very tiring franchise. They are probably working on their financial projections and season 2 strategy also. I think it's a decent COD title marred by some terrible design decisions right off the bat and issues that are still yet to be fixed despite 11 patches totaling over 70gb. Ironically, the amount of points in the survey actually demonstrates how many widespread concerns there are. I remember getting a lot of flak on here for not liking WW2 and leaving the game soon after launch citing the lies from Condrey and Schofield, the ver1.0 rollback scam and their sheer ignorance towards the community regarding feedback. A few months later, those two clowns were removed from the studio by Activision and the remaining staff at SHG then began to implement all the feedback they had garnered since launch plus made sweeping changes which drastically improved the game. It was almost unrecognisable from the original from the Condrey and co regime. Biggest u-turn in COD history but too late in the day even against a struggling BO4. I think Modern Warfare has a lot of varying issues that has put people off from playing. IW have ignored a lot of feedback so far and have even trolled the community for it. Even their big announcements and updates have fallen flat and caused more issues. This game needs a major overhaul and a survey like this from the top could be a good starting point to get the ball rolling. It's probably too late in the day but IW did salvage Infinite Warfare to a degree albeit that game having less issues. If they pull off what Sledgehammer did with virtually no staff, then it will be amazing. Make no mistake, when big Activision-pampered YouTuber's criticise and abandon the game, there is definitely a big problem in the eyes of the publishers...and shareholders of course.
  19. Just seen a Tweet from yesterday about a playlist update and it's confirmed that Gunfight has been replaced. Another beyond dumb move from IW - probably trying to warm people up for the inevitable battle royale bollocks
  20. I think RE3 started off quite frantic running through the streets and alleys trying to get to the RCPD station. The original starts off in the mansion pretty much and RE2 is at the gas station. 3 definitely threw people in at the deep end from what I vaguely remember.
