If we had a spawn world, then I would work with water falls I can look at doing something like that, there are amazing examples out there. I can even look at building something in creative and then merging it into the world. the location we have currently isn't a good one for stuff like that though

I know the design you mean, if not the exact build I was trying to do a more medieval style. If you are near spawn, you should see a gate house starting to get built on the road. I plan on walling it off and then plunking buildings and halls all through it. If i can sort out a decent dome shape, there will be one, but they are nerve wracking to build, so i might skip it

How large do you all want the spawn building/ fort to be? Sometimes I make things almost to large... and I don't want to do that this time, I want to make sure everyone is happy, and the spawn is inviting and usable. I have been on servers where the spawn was a city, where everyone got a few chunks to make their own. I have also been on servers where the spawn was 3-4 buildings, and a wall for protection, that was never visited after the initial joining of the server. What all do you guys want?

If your axe has 200 health, and the tree is 201 blocks (Counting leaves), then when you chop it down, the axe will be destroyed. That ticks me off that wood axes are not an exception. One more thing for me to fix tomorrow

Minecraft generates, and stores data, on a chunk level A Chunk is a 16w x 16d x 256h square here is the wiki on it http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Chunk

Go back to them, and change the 4 to a 2 you only have 4gb of ram, trying to use all of it is most likely what is causing htis

Well hell, I guess spawn protection is borked then. It should extend out fairly far, like 4-5 chunks. I guess I need to look into that as well Can someone make a wood axe and go chop a tree down? Wood Axes should act like normal minecraft, and only give you one block. TreeCapitator is set to not work with them

EG: Dirt will occasionally drop carrots, mushrooms, glowstone dust Mining will occasionally drop eggs, Records, Enchanted Iron Pickaxes, diamonds, books, and other crazy shit. MCMMO mod Are your skills activating when you right click?

Phil is 100% correct here. Iron Pickaxes can mine anything except for obsidian. Diamond can mine anything So what I do in game before I have a full stack of diamonds to work with. Take a stack of wood planks or logs with you wherever you go Take 1 Stone Pickaxe Take 1 Iron Pickaxe When mining stone, use the stone pickaxe, when mining any ore, swap to the iron. When the stone pickaxe breaks, make a new one with some of the stone you mined, and the wood you brought with you. This way you don't have to stop until you have enough stone or minerals for your needs, or your pack is full.

BAH! Okay, I screwed something up then. I will work on fixing that tomorrow. Does it give you an error with the name for the group you are in when you try to use them? Also, can you /sethome at all? or even /spawn?
