My advice for you is this. Never dig straight down. Never dig straight up Carry a bucket of water on your toolbar next to your pickaxe. If you hit lava, dump the bucket

Server is restarting now. Monsters are live. If creeper explosions damage things, let me know. I turned that off, but need to test it still

It is sort of hidden. I tried to stick with a theme and placed heiroglyphic blocks all around it. Look for a wooden staircase going up into a hill. Its the large Black and purple thing.

ITs not, but you will be in a better position to survive the night, versus someone that starts this weekend. Also, F7 will always work

That server was only up for 6 days. If it takes anyone 1 -2 more weeks to get caught up to that, then they need to play more LOL

Just so folks know, I was leaving mobs off so folks could catch up to where they were on the last server. If we wait much longer to turn them on, then folks currently in will have a massive advantage over those not joined yet

If you need to break them, use that Silk Touch pickaxe I gave you. That way you don't lose them

It is up at the Spawn. If you all want your own. Go nuts Once its mined out, I will reset it I built a ramp to the nearest wall section for you all to mine through. I recommend working together in there. I also recommend walls and other things to keep you safe when mining. Don't attack the pigmen. When you attack one, you piss them all off and they will swarm after you for days on end. If you attack and kill enough of them, they will never de-aggro, and then you can't enter there. I will let you all sort out the rest of the fun that is The Nether on your own.

I set it up to have a very low resource profile, and if more people had multiple monitors, I would honestly push to remove Journeymap, instead of dynmap. Thats just me though

Why not both? Dynmap is still on and running. I can't speak for others, but I have it open all teh time, even when I am at work. That way I can see what folks are up to, and if there are any problems.

I would recommend looking at making a few armor stands, sticky pistons, and then redstone torches, or buttons or switches.

Yes, I can show you all how to set one up once you get redstone and sticky pistons But is this something that should be at the spawn, or at your personal builds?

So, I have an idea that I think could be pretty cool, but I want feedback from you all. I was thinking of only partially rebuilding the spawn. Sort of leave it in ruins, but wall it off enough that villagers and guards can't get out. Also I need to know what sort of villagers/ merchants you all would like to see here. So far I was asked for a: Butcher Potion maker

Monsters are turned off to give people some breathing room on building. Who cares if its night if monsters can't spawn

With the mods in the game you dont need beds. Also, anyone who finds cotton seeds can make a bed. Especially if they have a few dozen Iron Hoes

So, we had an incident today where someone's house was looted. This was an accident. Both parties were on, and the stuff was given back. HOWEVER, even if something doesn't have signs up. Leave it alone for now. Post a pic, or the coordinates up. After people have some time to see it and remark if its theirs or not, then go nuts
