  1. Dude, this guy is awesome "I didn’t think of my safety at the time,” he added. “I’d had four or five pints — nothing major. “I can handle myself. But I was out with an old person and it was out of order.” http://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/other-soccer/football-fan-shouted-f-you-im-millwall-and-took-on-knifewielding-terrorists-with-his-bare-fists-35795151.html (WTF is a millwall?)

  3. DO NOT ASK FOR SUPPORT HERE, make a new thread
  4. {Reserved for the pic of the folders and the load up screen once I get home}
  5. Read this in its entirety, it is not long. http://imgur.com/a/FN2fG Link for the files to be downloaded here https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0HHyg47WsFEdnd3REJ6UW92eTg All of these instructions still apply, EXCEPT When you read 1.7.10, instead change it to 1.10.2. All of the files are in the above shared folder. I will update all of these pictures as time allows. If it doesn't look like this on the game menu, then something is wrong
  6. Connection: You can join with either of these: How you do this: Go to MULTIPLAYER Click ADD Server Enter a name, any name For Server address, enter one of the two below: fgforums.mcworlds.pro 198.27.83.113:27289 EDIT: If you do not list your Minecraft Username in the other thread, you will NOT have access to the server.
  7. No you most likely need to move the files in the Zip file, to the actual directory you created for the game The last few sections of my write up describe how to do this, but here it is again. The Zip file has 3 files in it. They should be Config, Mods, Resourcepacks You need to put those into the game directory you created. The files already exists, so you are going to MERGE them, or if windows asks you, Choose the REPLACE option If you do it right, it should say something like this Minecraft 1.7.10 MCP v9.05 FML v7.10.99.99 Minecraft Forge 10.13.4.1566 83 mods loaded, 83 mods active Note, it says either 63 or 83, I don't remember which at this point. However, your number of 3 is wrong
  8. Greboth nailed it. The guide I cobbled together is really quick and to the point, if you read it entirely and point me at parts that are confusing I can work on clearing anything up.
  9. If this was legit, I would totally play it
  10. yea, I think I posted that I would in another thread. I will put the basic road blocks, not the glowstone. I need to sort out how I plan on lighting the road still
  11. Might need to clean up these threads, seperate out a few posts, amd rhen lock them so they don't get derailed Via the FG App
  12. I posted instructions somewhere around here. I have to zip off to a meeting real fast, or I would link them Follow the instructions I posted. If you run into issues, post here and we can help you sort it out. its all fairly straightforward. I can help you on whatsapp if needed. Just be prepared to take pics and send them to me.

    So for me, I like to build bridges, and roads, so they don't break the terrain. Unless its a mountain, in which case I will tunnel every time. If you go to the road, and follow it south, you will see where the bridge needs to be. I would hold off though. I can put a chest near that point for you, with the building materials I am using for the road. That way its all uniform. also, What are the thoughts on the road I built so far? I tried to make it stand out from the surroundings. When I get to the E-W section, it will be made of different bricks, that way if you don't have a map handy, you can still know which road you are on. If folks don't like the look of it, I will change it.
  14. Here is another guide http://www.minecraft101.net/index.html
  15. Other than the Project E mod, I actually don't know a damned thing about the other Magic mods that are installed. Thaumcraft is crazy complex, but I think thats a good thing. We can all learn it together. I will try to post up a few more guides in the beginner thread. However, the easiest way to learn this stuff is when you are in game, if you move your mouse over an item that looks cool to you, it will tell you which mod it is from In that one, the Greatwood leaves are from the Thaumcraft mod You then go over to google, and search for Thaumcraft Getting Started, or Thaumcraft beginners guide Its how I learned all this shit over the last 5 years. Another example of the tooltip We don't have this crop mod in the game, its just an example of the tooltip we have.
  16. I honestly didnt know you all were tbis new to the game Via the FG App

  19. So that error is on download? So like when you go to the link i shared and grab the file? That seems odd, a download doesnt touch the registry Via the FG App
  20. This guide doesn't cover any of the mods https://www.minecraftcraftingguide.net/ Also, when in game, if you click on an item in the right sidebar (The one that is literally every item in the game), it will show you how to make it. From there you can click on other things to see how to make those.

    Spawn point is getting laid out, its taking forever... Road is started. It goes passed someones house. I am not sure who's. I need to design a bridge for the first river it goes over, but its coming along. Friday I should have time to really focus on this.
  22. I forgot to tell you all. In order to give everyone a slight edge for the first few days. I set the difficulty to Peaceful. What this means is that monsters cannot spawn, you heal over time naturally, and you don't go hungry. At some point next week I will turn it back to normal
  23. Make a well for water Get a bucket! Dig a 2x2 hole Put water in opposite holes ow wo w = water, o = open (top down view You will never run out of water again as long as you only take 1 bucket full every second (or less) Working with water is easy, to make it level across a far distance, just leap frog the water you pour out SO if you have a section like this |--------------------------------------------| you would do water like this |wowowowowowowowowowowow| It takes a while but it smooths it out
