Running costs food, yes it burns more than walking. Waypoints do NOT teleport. I am unable to change this. However what they do is show you where something is, and how far away you are from it. Teleport commands that work /home - teleports you to your home /sethome - creates home point /back - teleports you to the location you recently teleported from /spawn - teleports you to the server spawn for that dimension /warp {name} - warps you to the location you named, you set hte names, you can have 3 /setwarp {name} - works like set home

On a whim, I decided to Fill in every chunk on the server. Until this process is finished expect Lag spikes I am also looking at running Dynmap on the server. The problem with running this is the amount of space it takes to show all of the data. Dynmap is HUGE, it saves every 16x16 chunk as a PNG file, and it eats HD space like candy. I need to play around with the settings some more and see if we can get around that somehow. I will say this though, in 4 years of using Dynmap, I have never once gotten it to not be a bitch about HD space

I made this guy, and one other to protect the villagers at the spawn. He got out... I don't know how, as he wasn't hurt, but if you see him, he will kill mobs for you. No need to attack him He might try to give you a flower

Creating waterworld is the easiest thing in this game. Just set the water height on world creation to around 90 or so And there are skins with eye patches

I was asked to look into a mod that changes fishing in the game to be more than the PITA that it is. How do you all feel about this? With so many of us, I think having a vote or at least majority opinion saying yea or nay, should be how we decide things

What I have seen others do is put a main station at spawn, and then do main lines to other stations, and then branch lines to spots near homes It was sort of what I had in mind for the main road as well. I build the main 4 roads, and then you all connect to them however you want

Cool, once I finish spawn The best ones I have found are always well below the surface, down around level 20 or so. just need all the coordinates

Yep, Tommy has it. I am still trying to sort out permissions, so I might increase the number of "homes" people can set. Or.... after a while we could all work on a nice underground rail system.

I will lay it out here in a minute Also, your water flows were causing weird lag in the area. I fixed it for you. or in one case blocked it off as I wasn't sure what you wanted there. Water and lava flows can cause a lot of lag in an area. Its not server wide, but it can grow to be. I posted in the tip thread how to fix this, if we all ever get on chat at some point I can show you guys how to do it on your own. It only requires one bucket to do.

I messaged you 3 times in game to say "Hey Man, Need to restart real fast, get someplace safe" I waited about 20 minutes. That being said, you shouldn't have lost anything

Dylan did that once. I reset the chunks for his build to be a volcano. all his gear was still there, and you could sort of see it all. It was fun You can leave the tunnel. Just move it back a little bit, thats where I was going to put the next road. I will mark out for you, but only move it like 5 squares and you will be fine

I am placing villagers, in locked/ fenced areas Please don't kill them. They will trade with you When you click on them, one of the options is Trade, if you choose it, the villager will ask for something. Example this one wants 21 wheat, and she will give you emeralds. I am going to build shops around all of them NOTE: This also means I will be putting fences and gates at the spawn entrances to keep out monsters, as well as guards and a few golems once I get it all sorted out.

I did the maintenance real fast. Back was created for everything done as of an hour ago. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Done: Several configs need to be changed - RESTART REQUIRED Difficulty will go back up to Normal, from Peaceful - RESTART REQUIRED Wooden Axes set as exception to TreeCapitator - RESTART REQUIRED Potentially removing OtherDrops Mod Potentially removing Spawn Protection Attempt to build at the spawn. - Still to be tested. Although someone built closer than I expected was possible. So either Spawn Protection is broke, or the range is set differently than is showing Lag - On Going testing TreeCapitator - Wooden Axe now only chops one log. Tested and verified. OtherDrops mod - Removed the mod. This blows, I loved this mod. MCMMO mod - Working fine Expect a new list for next week New Testing items list incoming
