Watched Kill Chain last night with Nicolas Cage. Was not too impressed with it. I use to be a big Nick Cage fan back years ago, but this one just wasn't really all that great. It seemed over complicated as well as having a lack of plot, both at the same time. I didn't think that was even possible 🤣

Have with the Glock, but still have to take the revolver and the new shotgun out and run them yet. I picked up the Impact Pro electronic ear protection last week, those things are insanely cool!

Picked up a new addition to the family today Gforce 12g 20" barrel with pistol grip. Got a built in rail and dovetail for optics as well so hard to pass up for the price Palmetto was selling it for.

Thanks Dave, I've lost about 180lbs total since I started getting back in shape some years ago. I'd still like to drop another 20-25lbs. Have been working on cutting back and eating better again. Pushing up against 50 yrs old here in a few months though, so body does not react quick as fast now at this age as it did when I was younger.

Watched a number of movies again over the past few days but there's one I had to post about and suggest. "The Silencing" which stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, he's the guy that played Jammie Lannister in Game of Thrones. I am really shocked that movie didn't get more attention, because I thought it was a really good flick. Basic plot is Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is a former big game hunter whom turned his acres of hunting property into a protected game preserve. While watching the security cameras on his game preserve one day he finds some guy in a gillie suit hunting young girls he has kidnapped for sport. I won't go into details and spoil anything, but there's a few good twists in it that I actually didn't seem coming. Really well done movie, if you get the chance give it a watch.

Yet another "happy place in Steve-topia" pretty much finished the gun room is about done. Only ones not on the new wall I built are a new tactical 12g which I'll be picking up from my FFL Mon/Tues & the home defense one which stays next to the bed. Everything is not only nicer looking in the new area, but nice and secure behind steel dead bolted doors, blocked off window, and also have a bunch of trigger locks on the way so that the only gun usable without being unlocked will be the home defense 12g I keep with me. I dunno if I'm an introvert whom hardly leaves home because Steve-topia is such a cool place....or if Steve-topia is such a cool place because I'm an introvert whom hardly leaves home. I dunno, chicken or egg I guess. Introverts unite!....alone, in your own home, away from me 😁

Been watching a number of movies lately. Finally got Amazon Prime so got the movie ch they have so been watching a lot of movies at night when I have nothing to do before bed now. Big Legend - This one s about a 90 min movie about a guy & his GF that go camping and run into Bigfoot. It actually was a pretty good movie. If you get a chance give it a watch I think you'll be plesantly surprised at the drama/suspense. One of the more well done monster movies I have seen in a while. Man vs. - This one has a twist I was not expecting. Won't say what it was, but basically it's a guy with a TV show (think Bear vs Wild) who gets dropped off in the deep woods of BC and ends up running into something that starts messing with him in the woods. And no, it was not Bigfoot 🙂 Force of Nature - Had Mel Gibson and Emile Hirsch in it so I expected it to be pretty decent because they are both great actors. The reviews for the movie were really low, but that usually doesn't mean a whole lot IMO. It was not all that good. No where near as bad as the reviews said, but with two actors like Gibson & Hirsch it could have been much better. Wasn't totally their fault though, writing seemed like it could have been a lot better as well. 24hrs to live- Ethan Hawke was pretty decent in this one. Story was a bit far fetched, but action and shootouts were pretty well done. Pretty much one of those movies you'd flip on while having nothing else to do and watch but not make it a point to go out of your way to see it.

Okay someone take the keys please, I'm too drunk to drive LOL. was talkin to a buddy tonight about him helping me to build an AR or maybe an AK, and when I went to the site he sent me, they had a $350 Tactical 12g for $150. Did I need a tact 12g? No. I already have one. But for $150? ordered and will be at the local FFL shop for me to pick up this weekend LOL. Really, thats 2 guns in 24hrs, 3 guns in 1 week. WTF is wrong with me. I may be on some Gov watch list now if you don't hear back from me LOL Just bought this https://palmettostatearmory.com/g-force-gfpg-pump-action-12-gauge-shotgun-4rd-20-black-gfpg31220.html

I'm always busy with some project. My OCD is a blessing and a curse at the same time. Since I got back into firearms recently after being somewhat out for 25 yrs, OCD is back in overdrive(duh, have you even met me?lol) In between workin' on rod orders each day, I have been putting in many hours on a gun room area down in the shop, to go along with the rod building area, 3d printing area, Rc truck area, aquarium area..... what ever is next area Still waiting for all the slatwall hooks to show up tomorrow so I can move all my guns to it, but got a lot of the main work done now. Waiting for a bunch of trigger locks to show up as well. This will give me not only a nice area, but a more secure place for all my guns while still keeping the home defense ones near. Lot's more work to be done but getting there. I did mention OCD right?

Another one followed me home today. I tried my best to lose it so it couldn't follow me, but was not workin' so I gave in and let it come inside 🙂

I wouldn't care to see that myself. There are some movies where the main actor is just not replaceable IMO. Keanu as Neo being one of them.

OH.......HELL.......YES!!!!! Can not wait!. I just hope they don't pull a Top Gun 2 and delay it for 2 years 🤨 It looks awesome, hopefully the rest of it is as good as it looks to be. I only have one problem with a new Matrix movie though. I love Keanu Reeves, he's one of my two favorite actors along with Chris Pratt. But, I am a HUGE fan of the John Wick movies. And he's got his John Wick beard in this. So when I go to see it I'm gonna have a hard time sitting there and not thinking ..."What the F&^$ is John Wick doing in the Matrix?" 😁

He's ahead of me. I actually have never seen that one. Never was a football fan so that one just didn't appeal to me probably because of that.

I've always like her as well, not just because she's attractive but because she really is a good actress just like you said. I think my favorite one with her is 28 days. As someone that has battled alcoholism myself in my life, the way she portrayed herself in that movie was honestly spot on. I never understood how that movie didn't get more attention/awards for her job in it than it did.

I must be on a Liam Neeson kick lately because I just finished watching prob the 3rd Neeson flick I've watched in the past month. Watched The Marksman. I was thinking it was not gonna be all that great because it had a pretty low rating on RT"s as well as by most critics. But just as is true 9 times out of 10...if a movie is rated low thats usually a sing its actually pretty damn good, friggin critics suck. I'm not gonna say it was his best film, but it was nearly 2hrs long and I honestly didn't feel like it was that long, so I must have enjoyed it. A pretty decent drama with just enough quick action mixed in to make it a movie that should appeal to most anyone. I liked it.

Picked up a new big boy toy today. Took my CPL class last week and went today just to "look" at a few models. Was planning on maybe next month picking up the Glock 19 or 26, but after trying a few the guy that was helping me suggested what he carries which was the Glock 48. Soon as I held it I knew I found the one for me. Just fits my hand perfectly and felt great. I didn't plan on buying today but could not come home without it. Probably a good thing because I wanted to get it asap so I could get a lot of range time with it before I start carrying. Should have my CPL in 45 days but plan to wait prob 6 months to actually carry so that I get extremely familiar with this one. This is my first hand gun, I've been into long guns for my whole life and own many rifles & shot guns, but damn I' already in love with this handgun even after only 1 day LOL Pics of my new baby. She's so purdy lol 🙂

I just watched a movie called "The Blackout:Invasion Earth". It's a streaming movie on Amazon. Has anyone here seen that? Because the ending has me a bit confused 😄

Just finished watching Honest Thief. The last two Liam Neeson movies I watched sucked hard (Cold pursuit & Ice Road) so it was refreshing to finally see him in a good movie again. Really enjoyed it. Nice to see Kate Walsh again as well. I always found her to be a really attractive woman and a good actress.

Watched a number of movies in the past week or so now. Wrath of Man- Really liked this one. The first 45 minutes are a bit confusing (I was pretty lost lol) but then they do a good job of tying it all together in the 2nd half of the movie. IMO it was probably one of Jason Statham's best films. Tomorrow World- Fun movie. I really like Chris Pratt so it's hard to not enjoy one of his films, but this one is just a neat non-thinking fun movie to watch. Val - Val Kilmer's one he made about his life. This is hard to say if I liked it or not. On one hand I liked it because I always liked Val as an actor. Yet on the other hand it was probably one of the more depressing films I have seen in awhile. And then it has the bit of pompousness overtone to it which Val has always been known for lol. So It's hard to say it was good/bad. If you're a Val Kilmer fan then it's okay, but I wouldn't watch it again that's for sure.

Watched A Quiet Place 2 last week. Was a good addition to the first one. I think what I liked most about it is they did not fall into the trap almost every sequel seems to fall into where they overdo things to try to outdo the original film. Rather than that, they just basically continued out with things the way the first film did which made for a good watch. I'm thinking the way it ended might be a lead in to a 3rd film perhaps. Wrath of man is on-demand for $5.99 now so plan to rent that this afternoon.

Nice collection. Far as figures go the only collection of figures I have are some Game of Thrones ones. Mostly the Dark Horse brand. Couple of Mcfarland as well I think.

Thanks Lee. It's amazing the stuff you can do with them. And the prices have come down so much over the past few years. I have two of them now and both are the Ender 3 V2's which sells for about $250, then I upgraded the extruder/hot end with a direct drive Microswiss one which runs $100. So no more than $350 invested into each of them.

Finally done with this one. Pretty much everything is 3d printed except the base I carved/sculpted out of foam then airbrushed and flocked it with sand and flocking. And the trunk of the tree is one of my bonsai trees that died over the winter so I just spread aquarium filter floss across the branches then flocked it the way model railroad guys do on their builds. Rest is all printed and airbrushed. Water I airbrushed the base then coated it in clear silicone, then added waves by pulling upwards on the silicone as it dried and painted the white tips. Also added flicking light inside the tower as well as a flickering micro LED chip on the end of the wizards torch. Probably over 200+ hrs into it from start to finish. Fit's right into the theater room theme really nicely. Was quite an enjoyable build, already kicking around ideas for what will be built on the 2nd of the side tables.

Figured I'd start this thread and just update it with pictures of some of my 3D printed projects as I work on them rather than start a new thread for every thing I print and do. Just started this project a bit over a week ago. I decided I wanted to do a medieval diorama for my theater room since the rest of the room's decor is all medieval themed. So decided to start printing a scene which will be a castle tower sitting on the edge of a rocky shoreline of the ocean with a dragon on top of the tower, then a giant kraken coming out of the water attacking the tower. Took about 130hrs to print just the tower pieces. Then did a lot of paint work and weathering to make it look aged, made some vines out of stained twine and ground up some reindeer moss to make the moss and growth on the towers crack. Added some wood railing and made a wood door. Have the dragon pieces running on both printers right now so hope to have that done and painted by the weekend so I can move onto finishing the base and making some realistic water using some clear silicone and paint mixed which other items which should be interesting.
