I only have the Jag as I bought it so I could make the Silk Cut paint job. I don’t play it every day but do play it reasonably often. I just seem to get a lot of duplicates, I think I’m up to 4 or 5 of some cars

Giving away all your secrets Phil I’ve been using the Jag F type simply as it is the only gr.3 car I have. I did a few laps (think 7 or 8 ) yesterday and set what I think is a respectable time. Though I know I cocked up the last corner on my fastest lap and lost 3 or 4 tenths to the finish line. So a faster time is definitely possible

All seems good from playing a few hours last night. I got a basic beginner house built, a mine down to diamond level but really only dug down and not done any real mining yet. I also built a small automatic chicken cooker if people need any food. It doesn’t produce that fast but it should always be running while one of us is around loading the chunk. Next thing I want to add it a water drop and elevator for the mine to make it easier to get up and down.

Sounds good to me, I logged on to check it works the other day. I’ll try to get on in the next few days to give it a proper go. Probably when I rage quit from the other server by being killed by a guardian for the 472nd time 😡 Also, are we planning any sort of community build / area or just going our own seperate ways.

As a general rule to go the quickest you want to turn off or down as many aids as possible while still be able to keep it on track. From memory I have ABS on, TC at level 1 and manual gears.

Username is Greboth same as here I do play quite a bit of MC, It’s just I started on a new server a week ago so still grinding .... I mean mining all the resources I need for my build on that server and unlike our resident Plumber, digging big holes isn’t really my thing I’ll still hop on though, I’ll just be in no rush to get my diamond gear or start a big build. As you said you haven’t played in a while, for your new house press F3 and in the top left you’ll see your co-ordinares so you’ll never be lost again. Edit: F3 + G is also useful as it turns on tool tips (or something like that) which shows the durability of your tools. So you know when they are going to break.

Oh shit sorry guys, I didn’t realise it was such a high level. Presuming the tracks unlock in the order they are on screen, I’m happy to re-roll the track for an unlocked one.

I don’t know what the realms are, I keep meaning to look in to them but haven’t yet. Hopefully others have to answer your question. As for version, yeah we were playing the Java edition. As far as I know the only time FG has played Minecraft was modded Java using Forge. Though I thinkna few people have got it on playstation too but I don’t know how they play it.

When I created this time trial I didn’t realise you had to unlock tracks. I guess I probably did but that would have been when it came it so I’ve obviously forgotten it. I managed to get on last night for some laps though was too tired to do more than a few. I think this track combo is easier than Suzuka though still a few corners you have to nail to get a good lap time.

Did a little reading on and yes you can host and play at the same time. I think my PC would easily cope with it but all the guides suggest having some knowledge on networking etc. which I have zero knowledge on.

I’m still playing and after playing modded I’m quite enjoying playing vanilla 1.13. I actually joined a patreon server as it’s only a few quid a month but it’s a world with 50+ active players so always something going on. Dave, that is an idea and one maybe we could look in to. Specs for servers of a few people aren’t that high. Also I wonder, could you host a multiplayer world and play that world on the same PC. As it would save having a older/seperate PC acting as server.

Sounds like a good plan, though if you haven't already I'd work through the challenges and the track challenges as each one gifts you a car so it is a relatively easy way to build up a decent garage. That is why I like time trials as you can squeeze them in around other things easier than a fixed race time/schedule. Suzuka is a difficult track to get perfect laps on so maybe the wrong one to start on but that's what you get for randomisers Hopefully round 2 combo is better for you.

I think everyone is finished with this combo so posting now so I can go to bed Round 1 Final times 1st Greboth - 2:04.1 2nd Spacedeck 2:06.6 3rd Phil Bottle 2:08.6 4th GazzaGarratt 2:09.3 So on to round 2 and the randomiser has thrown out Track: Fuji Speedway F Class: Gr3 I dont' know the track but it is going to be interesting in some faster cars and the added downforce is going to be nice too.

Boredom of a track is a factor, I can’t do many laps either until I want to drive a different car/track. I did wonder at the set up whether to make each round a week. However I think it is nice to have longer to give everyone time to have a go but maybe we can change it to a week if people would prefer that.

I’m thinking the same, I managed to squeeze a few laps in over the weekend buy I couldn’t get within half a second of my PB. I might try before again before Sunday but I’m not confident I’ll go any faster.

As Phil, Lee and I were on at the same time we created an online lobby. If you’re in single player time trial you will only see your own time.

yeah that may also help you improve your lap times. Wait....what am I talking about, I meant to say no no take more drugs, take all the drugs and drive really slowly and carefully.
