There will be 12 league races and final points are counted from 9 best results from those 12 races. So you're not disadvantaged missing one race. All race details are in calendar. I think I got this in a Humble Bundle last year and not sure if I ever added it to Steam. It is supposed to be a very good game, maybe time I checked it out.

The funny thing is, I suspect people have been doing this for centuries. In the 1800s the sending of moralistic letters to newspapers by people showing how moral they were to each other is even and mocked featured in David Copperfield by Dickens when he introduces Mrs Micawber. I don't know where you find these people James but I'll say this much. Amazon has some very shitty employment practices that actually have a material impact on many people's lives. So its a real shame the energy is not directed there, to things that actually matter.

Looking for something lightweight for myself and Mina to watch, we settled upon Cobra Kai. 5 episodes in, great decision. It's a lot of fun and very funny in some places. Some excellent references to the film and to the 1980s...and i think the writers are enjoying themselves with the script. Plus I'm getting drawn into the 'strike first' approach 😁

We're good at making the best of a bad situation, that's life in a nutshell I suppose. That doesn't mean we shouldn't demand the best or be satisfied when we are served shit.

I want a COD with Kowloon in it. COD died a long time ago for me, my tastes may have changed, although the new Modern Warfare was a step in the right direction (glad I didn't bother with Cold War however). I'm just hoping Battlefield returns to form rather than expecting anything decent from this dead horse.

Turned out to be a very enjoyable race, and no one seemed to get left behind, which was nice to see. Penalties didn't really feature in the race, which was good, and to be honest I thought it was very straightforward. I managed to go a whole race without fucking up or getting fucked up. Kiwi managed to do the whole 5 laps on one tank and it nearly paid off. Excellent strategy. I'll post the league table up later today.

Yep, semi conductors being pretty much all produced by one company doesn't help but it's a matter of logistics in the long run. The pandemic slowed everything down in all sorts of ways. The occasional bursts of crypto mining fever dont help either. I had a similar problem when buying my 1080 ti. It was over a grand for a year and a half before I found it for £700
