Really fucked myself over last night😁 Had a really great start. But then during the long sweeping right after turn one I engaged in conversation and paid for it immediately. When I got back on track I was already 15 seconds down. I decided on a no stop and that, plus a few more ridiculous errors, meant my worst ever finish in a league race. All that practice 😅 Race 2 I was in 1st with a fast car on a track I'm decent at but got booted off unceremoniously at the first turn/chicane and placed at the back of the grid. So just had fun for the rest of the race. Race 3 was a nice test of the Gr.2 cars ahead of next week's race. I shall not be practicing later on today 🙃 I'll have latest standings and calendar up this afternoon but looking like it will be 15 laps round Alsace.

Next Tuesday is the final race of the Spring Season. It's at Alsace and i put it down in the calendar as Gr.2 So please remember that you need a Gr.2 car. I may even stick a Gr.2 race up tonight for practice at that speed. By 'may' I mean I shall.

Need to get back on this, to see what's what. I've been off the PC lately as i occasionally need breaks from computer screens. When I say 'off I mean less time rather than none🤗 I'm so far behind it will be fun trying to pick up.

Right them, what's the score with this. If we're going to change nights we need to sort ASAP. We have 2 who can no longer do Tuesdays. @GazzaGarrattsuggests Thursday, which is OK for me, can't see me being available for any other night as I'm busy Monday and Wednesday. Sunday evenings would be a possibility if not for the time of year, as sunshine and afternoon beers make that a no no😁 So. If Thursday is no good for people, they need to say so here, so we know where we stand and can make a decision.

I've been doing statistical analysis of assessment task item performance this week, facility values, discrimination index, standard deviation, all that bollocks and I'm all Excel'd out...but will have a look over in the morning if that's any help.

I watched the 2nd half of the Arsenal game, with AFTV on my phone, expecting some fireworks. They only had to score one goal, at home. Taking off their best striker was not appreciated by their fans and if Arteta keeps his job that will be interesting. Spurs are still managerless but Ryan has been doing okay so far, last few games to try for 4th place but I doubt it.

I forgot about Manufacturers, yes, let's do that, and I'm sure we can implement it for Summer. For endurance I would need to do two races in effect. Once all from the first two laps have completed, the comparison times will determine starting places, and gaps, for the 2nd race. If someone finishes 1st in race 1 by 12 seconds, their partner starts race 2 that many seconds ahead of 2nd place etc etc It would be a pain in the arse go be fair😅

Whoever pairs with me, note that lube is no longer required, my back end has been smashed so often I'm fitting a revolving door. But yeah sounds interesting. Spring Season has 2 races to go, with an end of season finale. Then first week of June, Summer Season starts. So, could start it then. Maybe do the pairing by lottery or stats, whatever you prefer. The only drawback for me is that so far I've not been too sweaty and this would make me very sweaty. Don't mind fucking myself over but I'd be mortified to do it to someone else 😅 Love the @crispymorgan idea of an endurance race. If we want I can make one of the Summer Season races a 4 lap endurance round Nurburgring with each driver doing 2 laps each to test it out?

It wasn't fuel that fucked me, or Greebs embrace in the first lap. Tyre choice. Qualification was shit as I didn't manage to do a single lap without crashing off, not always under my own steam😁 But I had a great start and was running in 2nd holding everyone off until the corkscrew moment of bliss which left me and Greebs running in last. I decided at that point it was going to have to be a non stop race if I was going to have any chance if getting a position. Put my power down to 4 and concentrated on putting in steady, if slower, laps. Worked a treat. When everyone ahead pitted I found myself 3rd with 3 laps to go and about 7 seconds ahead of Crispy and James. But it was the super softs that were my undoing. I was still about a second and a half ahead on the last lap but the tyres gave up on the corner before the uphill and it was all over, both @Lurch and @crispymorgan passed me soon after. Crispy fucked himself up breaking late on the very last corner so I managed to salvage my 4th place. @Mikepjbell hated this race, which pleases me no end😅 @slamminbones didn't have much time to practice but we had a good battle at BlueMoon in the 2nd race . Great qualy and drive by James who will be major competition next season. Shout out to @Macca89 and apologies as I know I misjudged your braking at one point and nudged you off, but you're definitely getting better each week👏

Yep, two races left for the Spring Season. @Greboth has one hand on the trophy but its not a dead cert, just yet. Great racing last night and my no stopper almost worked with @crispymorgan and @Lurch catching me on the last lap. What @JBR-Kiwi said is so true. Him and Greebs are still the front runners but the pack behind is very competitive now, with James getting a deserved 3rd place in the main race. Crispy has gotten up to speed very quickly and is already threatening my perennial 4th place finishes...
