    Star Citizen is in alpha, please don't be comparing it to games that have officially launched as a finished product. They, or he, did massively overplay what would be in NMS, and I don't buy the sob story. The guy lied, end of story. I saw at the time there was no way they were going to deliver what they were promising and I didn't buy into the hype, so I've never been bothered and was happy to take a £5 punt afterwards on it coming good. That being said, I have the game installed on PS5 and PC so happy to jump on if people play🙂

    Their lies about it being multiplayer were excellent for me as I ended up with the game for £5, on PS and PC. It is a nice chill game but I've only played a few hours on each. I hear there is some limited multiplayer these days but not sure what that entails.

    Yeah, I probably won't even bother trying. I've one of the older recent PES games installed on my PS4 Pro still, if I ever feel like a game.

    I did eventually pick up a copy of Squad but I've barely played it. Feel like reinstalling it after watching this 😁

    When they had a decent offering they were able to carve out a niche for those who want a proper football game. They have lost that now and the EA juggernaut has little competition. Such a shame 🙄

    I loved the first game, definitely needed better combat mechanics, it's one of the reasons ME2 is cited as the better game. I should get round to trying it out, I think I got a key from humble bundle. Also, forgot to mention Skyrim didn't we. The ultimate ultimate version is on sale in the kiosk in Airplane 2: The Sequel, I believe. 😅

    If a game is to be remade I think I prefer the controls etc to be updated as well as the looks. I'm the opposite of Bones, I found RE1 remake very annoying but i do get that it makes the remake more authentic. RE 2 is for me probably the best way to redo a game. They did a fantastic job. But it depends...the Mafia remake redid the controls but I preferred the original rather than newer controls. Males me wonder about the GoldenEye remake, that would be awful with the original controls, unless they sell the N64 controller with it😁 While part of me thinks remakes are a sign of lack of imagination, if done well, like RE2, then I'm happy enough. The GTA remakes are the other side of the coin, just a shitty cash grab and have tarnished the franchise forever in my eyes.

    I'm about 100 pages into Kites, by Romain Gary. Has 'Great Expectations' vibes so far but for such a celebrated writer I'm not impressed personally with the writing.

    Yeah, we have a policy if one person drops out one week, we will continue. But any more than that and it's a reschedule. One player dropped out for a while, so she was killed off, but with the possibility of coming back as a vampire if she returns 😁

    There is auto land at proper landing zones but not ship activated. Also watch for the Cutlass as it has a hover mode. Press K I think to switch between the two. I'm sure there's reams of player info on Hotas use and the best way to use it, as your one is very popular in Star Citizen. I'm very happy you picked it up, there's a lot to learn and a lot of places to explore. Also note, you get given different missions and jobs depending in your location.
