    I'll start looking at a few things once we establish a good place to make a proper base. Should start looking at finding cars to get on the road too. But there's nothing to stop us in the meantime looking at which mods to install. The Expansion mod for certain and maybe a trader zone but I'm open to what people would like. When we get to that stage I'll also change the name of the server to FG and then advertise it on the DayZ forums, where I have a 10 year old account and where i met my darling Diddums. DayZ is played differently by different people. It uses to be a hero and bandit system. Some ppl like roaming the coasts murdering new spawns, some make bases and raid other bases, some like to kill the bandits and help the new spawns. Some just like to live in the deep, deep forest away from humans. Long term I'm also waiting for the Taviana map which us under construction, a great map from the old dayz mod, and bicycles. I hate that they were removed. @TurboR56Mini if you install DayZ SA Launcher i can also show you some modded servers and we can jump in so you get a flavour. But yeah, have a look at what mods we want, check out the Expansion mod for an idea of what's in that. Let me know if you need links.

    @GazzaGarratt here's a crafting guide, going to watch it now myself as i need a reminder. We have 4 shelters currently and I'm also using the fireplace to store stuff too.

    It's going to be an exciting end to the season for sure, I feel like Spurs will somehow get that spot, but then this is Spurs I'm talking about, so anything can happen 😅

    So yeah @Diddums dying to a pack of wolves has to be my highlight so far 😁 Three of us are in Stary now, have a couple of shelters thanks to @crispymorgan @GazzaGarratt has set up a camp fire although we did have to contend with sporadic rain. Need tents or to build more shelters as I'm running out of space🙂

    Have now moved onto a book by Philip Ruff - A Towering Flame - essentially some Latvian and anarchist history that briefly connects to London and the famous Siege of Sidney Street.

    I've not seen anything from Conte to suggest he's going anywhere, but those 'journalists' gotta get the clicks somehow. Although I would agree that if there's no CL next season and Levy doesn't provide a decent kitty this summer there's no way in hell Conte will hang around. Spurs have made it hard on themselves after sitting in pole, and even a result against the Arse might not be enough considering there is still the matter of a Liverpool game...

    New update today with some improvements and three new cars. It says there's a new track layout for Spa but that's a little disingenuous. They've added the option to race it at night. No layout change at all🙄

    Just to note that there are some changes some might not be aware of. There are now dynamic gas attacks on towns. If its the town you're in, first a flare will go up and then you will hear artillery. You have about a minute and a half to get safe. It lasts about 15 minutes. Only stay if you have the right gear on you. You can see a town currently under attack as the gas is very visible. A couple of military bases and certain forests are permanently under a cloud of gas, check the map for them. I'm currently overwatching Stary Sobor and was joined there last night by @crispymorgan I have too much gear on me and need to find a tent. Crispy found some tarp, so we may be able to craft one. I've also added 3 daily automatic restarts to keep the server fresh👍

    I'll most likely be about, so possibly. What's the score with party size? It was a 4 person party on PS5 but @Greboth was saying there should be an option to increase that? I'm not a fan of the console version as the controls are fiddly, but i have it installed on Steam too.

    Yep, we had a really nice base last time we did a server.

    Runs well, I'm getting 120+ fps. Spawned in Berezino and logged out at Stary Sobor. I'm Rlreasonably ok in terms of food and equipment too, as I found a pistol and then a silencer among others.

    Spurs are still in the driving seat for the CL spot so I expect us to fuck it up as usual. Man Utd got hammered last night but I, for some strange reason, expect the Arse to get a result against CFC tonight. Spurs V Arse derby will be mental 😁 Speaking of Derby, was sad to see them relegated but I think they did themselves proud with what they had available. Rooney has been excellent imo.

    I'll start with a basic vanilla DayZ server, maybe just 10 slots to start with, possibly 20, will see. Can expand upon that going forward and we can look at which mods we want to install. I'll probably use GTX as they are a well established hoster of DayZ servers.

    Apparently there are more changes than mentioned in the patch notes. Still amazed at how much they need to do.

    The awaited patch has finally dropped to stable. I'm going to sort out a server to play it on at some point this week. I plan to keep the server open to randoms. Will post up when it's ready.

    I was playing the campaign over the weekend. Incredible how great this game looks and sounds. If anyone fancies trying out the co-op on PC, give me a shout 🙂

    Of course. People can make their minds up if they want to buy into an unfinished game if it its in Alpha or Beta. It's pretty straightforward. I'm not going to bat for Star Citizen but I suggest you do some more research on that game before using it to defend the shitty launch of NMS 🙂
