I have to agree with you on that. It's definitely got the Dune vibe down but it's too janky, looks like an MMO from 2014 and too similar to games like Conan.

I think they will work on it so I'll keep an eye on it and maybe further down the line it will tempt me.

Spurs and Bodo game is in freezing cold Norway on an artificial grass pitch, so will be a horrible game to watch. I have to watch it unfortunately 🙈

I've had time for 3 proper raids so far, 2 of which I successfully extracted. 

 

The game is done really well, I'm not usually a fan of 3rd person but here, like the Division games, it feels very smooth.

 

Sound is excellent, guns feel good to use, there's a good tutorial and there's a skill system that's pretty straightforward.

 

I'm busy today until the evening but if the playtest is still live tonight I'll definitely be jumping on again.

I'm enjoying it a lot. Playing on PC via gamepass tight now but I'm going to buy the Steam version this week.

 

The gamepass character I can still play on Xbox as it has cross save but it'll be a new character on Steam.

 

I'm currently a Breton Spellblade, but might make myself a sneaky archer on Steam.

Tom @LordBaguette, Froggie @datfroggieguy and myself jumped in OG warzone for a few fun runs - and got absolutely annihilated time after time. It was quite funny tbh. I still enjoy goign after all the mission requests which lead you to better guns on the fly rather than saving money for a loadout drop.

 

It definitely has something about it...we must have had 5-6 runs of getting smashed and then all of a sudden we went on a rampage. Around 10-12 kills as a team and we kept pushing through, with constant redeploys and managed to get a top 10. That game felt like the whole was night was worth playing, just for that moment. Probably worth a few more game nights with some FGers. Even if its crossplay, doesn't bother me.

I've installed it on the PS5 now 😉

Ideally you want some of the teams to come up to stay up so they can achieve more, get more competitive and make the game more healthy - but the last 2 seasons we've seen a sharp decline in promoted teams as well as the gap from existing Prem teams getting larger. Btw, its not a Burnley/Leeds thing this. Even Blackburn wouldn't be anywhere near the standard. I watched Burnley vs Sheff Utd and whilst they looked robust, you could see none of their players have Premiership quality. It just feels like you have to get promoted with one team, sack them, and then bring in some elite experienced players that have Prem experience.

 

You could argue rather than have a Super League, insert a League 1.5 between Prem and Championship and we'd see better football throughout as thats whats happened now.

I'm very happy with it so far, and I'm getting 80 fps on medium settings at 1440p.

I aside from a couple of niggles I think they have exceeded my expectations. I'm playing this on gamepass right now but as soon as I see it for 40 quid or less I'm picking up the Steam version.
