  1. So, EFT has launched a new arena shooter mode. I have access but haven't tried it out yet. Bit buggy so far it seems but I'll give it a go at some point this week. Not really something I want to see them spend their time on tbh

I always feel like the cinematics are way better than the actual games for Warhammer. They always feel a bit clunky. However, I do feel like they pay off the hardcore lore nerds well so that's a plus.

Yeah I'd say 90% of Warhammer video games are shite, although the original Space Marine is excellent imo. And Deathwing could have been a fantastic game with a little more polish.

Latest ones have been much better, eg Vermintide and Darktide, plus Rogue Trader is supposed to be decent too from what I hear.

  3. Not personally a fan of superhero movies, I prefer to read the comics. If superhero movies were animated I'd probably enjoy them. There's a superman story (Red Sun) where its an alternate reality and he landed in totalitarian Russia, which i read 10 years ago... and that's now been animated, so I have a copy 🙂

That said, I did enjoy Watchmen, I like a lot of Alan Moore's work and the director did it justice.

    No incentive to be fit.

It's got nothing to do with how much they're paid, although that's a whole conversation by itself.

Blokes used to play professional football for fuck all back in the day, we play football because we love it and that's its own reward.

I think longer game time, plus all the VAR stopping games and waiting around for decisions probably tightens muscles etc

    Fortunately I didn't buy it 😛

I was hopeful, partially because I do like to have a more positive view on things ^_^ I mean though this was a scam you could argue a lot of games are these days with the way some of them launch and the way publishers promote them.

I'm a glass half full kind of person but an asset flip game is an asset flip game...

To be fair their asset flipping started with their advertising, which is what got everyone excited in the first place 😆

That's true, i never thought of the Fergie Time at the end of each game. I do find it hard to plan doing anything after a game because you never know when it's actually going to end.

The players don't even have to do it on a cold, wet Tuesday night in Stoke, so i don't see what their problem is haha

I'm guessing training has got a lot hard and that's why we're seeing these injuries, i'd read that Man Utd had such a heavy preseason that all the players were knackered before the season even kicked off....or at least that's an excuse i'm using.

Yeah I imagine it's a combination of over training and too long game-time.

Although I'm pretty sure someone will try and say it's because of wokeness 😅🤣

I've noticed how there's a lot of teams with multiple injuries, the injury list for a lot of clubs is the worst I've seen, if my memory serves me right. Some clubs could make a team of 11 with the amount of people they've got out. I know Utds injury list is pretty bad, that mixed in with the ability to not be able to kick a football to each other is really hurting us. We just lost Maguire the other day and he's been our strongest player.

I wonder why this is, is it because of the number of games they're playing or is training more intense or are the youngsters not built the same as they used to be?

Dunno really, we're (Spurs) not in any cup competitions, so not that many games, yet still lots of injuries. Maybe the Fergie Time at the end of every game now is contributing?

@Luseth, I usually put updates of key threads on there, so happy to do this when its ready - obviously the more ppl share FG threads too, the better. 🙂

Anyone can join the WhatsApp community by just messaging me, not a problem. I don't push it anywhere because obviously people aren't all on it and this is the home of FG that people need to keep checking in (plus its not really for gaming talk, as its just banter crap you wouldn't put on here).

Yeah FG's home is here. And not everyone uses WhatsApp, so the forum is the place for reaching members 🖤
