  1. Started playing Rage on PC and impressed that it still looks pretty good. Think i may be getting too hyped for Rage 2. It's 35 quid on the humbke store and i have a week off work at the end of the month. Wonder if John Goodman returns to voice a character. I could probably present these sentences in a better order. 2. I watched BBC breakfast discuss Freddie Starr this morning and the fact he used to dress up as hitler in wellies, suggesting there was something wrong with his type of humour. Thats the PC i hate. Thoughtless and reactionary. He was laughing at Nazis you smug pricks. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  3. From what I gather, the dressed up chimp is a long running gag on his shows, so a bit unfortunate there I think, it seems most ppl know the score. Still, in the meantimeI hear Farage was going a bit rabid on Question Time tonight, Yaxley Lennon has been usung nazi era language like 'Menshen' in his speeches and Morrissey has joined Britain First. What a world [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  4. I've still not seen the first couple of series (and I plan to binge the whole lot at some point) but 'the Sopranos' is excellent.
  5. I'm liking the look and vibe of this game.
  6. I watched a bit of the live stream. You can roll around in mud to camo yourself up. If it were 1st person I'd be more interested but I'll keep an eye on it anyhow.
  7. Going to get back on Arma 3 again now I’ve reinstalled it, plus the 100gb worth of mods I’d forgotten were still on my system, no exaggeration If anyone wants to join me, there are some mods that you would need to install and use. The base game of Arma is a military sim, and a very good one. But with mods it is so much more than that. Why I have Arma is because of the modding. Bohemia Interactive have always supported the modding community. DayZ and the spate of battle royale games found their first iterations as Arma mods. The best thing about the modding scene is that there is a dedicated mod launcher (A3 launcher) that does all the work for you. Link to A3 launcher here: https://a3launcher.com/ I’ll be playing Arma Life on the Altis map whereby you can run around as a criminal, bandit, police, army, rebel group, ambulance crew, drug dealer, farmer, miner, fisherperson and more.
  8. I obviously don't think Danny is a racist but really, he's an intelligent man and should know better. There's something about blokes from his generation who lack empathy and then like to play the victim. Silly man, I hear he was trying to blame his cancer too...not cool. BBC is a platform for all sorts of dodgy right wing nuts these days so maybe a bit hypocritical of them to sack him like that. But then, it's the royal family involved too and you know how that goes. Naming your kid 'Archie' like he's some lovable working class rogue says it all.
  9. lol i was trying to figure that out [emoji39] Dunno yet, might go Madrid but probably watch it at home on 4K as I'm lazy and skint. I switched to BT recently, couldn't have timed it better. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  10. Last night reminded me a lot of the night Peter Crouch scored against Man City and got us into the Champions League for the first time ever. That and Gazza's goal versus the Arse in the 91 FA semi-final. 'Spursy' has taken on a new meaning. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  11. What exactly is it @Spacedeck? Not a fan of clicking on links, would prefer you copy and paste the text
  12. Ha ha I'd be the same if it was the Arse
  13. Have to take my hat off to Liverpool, beating Barca 4 nil is the way to reach a final
  14. I bought the Firefly series in an Amazon sale as I heard it was decent but not watched it yet. Good is it? Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  15. Seems legit[emoji39] I liked the first game, primarily because of the story and characters. The second one, hmmm well the story was less engaging, and the mixture of bullet sponge and repetitive gameplay made it more of a chore to play. They also removed the equipment modding, which i personally liked. Still managed about 50 hours but that was probably because of co-op. At the very most, like Rib, I'll be waiting till it goes onto Steam. In a sale. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  16. I haven't seen anything that looks different to previous Borderlands other than the ability to hurdle obstacles. I hear crap like "yeah it doesn't seem different until you go back to one of the previous ones" Yawn. How exactly is the 'hype real'? I think people hype themselves too much. Stop it.
  17. Another game that will be in a bargain bucket for £5 before I buy it. These tosspots developers and publishers can do what the fuck they like I suppose, I don't need to buy their games

    MW4

The only thing that would make me buy a COD at this stage, is if they release ALL of the old maps for it (i.e. MW2, MW3, BLOPs1 and BLOPs2), for free. So yeah, no more COD for me as it stands.
  19. The final piece of the puzzle was added this afternoon. Samsung 970 Evo Plus. 1TB. Have to thank @Diddumsagain. Years ago you gave me a Samsung pen that was actually a screwdriver, with magnetic parts. The M.2 screw and standoff is tiny, plus I was fitting it into a gap I could barely squeeze a flat hand into, and that screwdriver saved me a lot of bother The Samsung migration software is pretty nifty and I've made this NVMe my boot drive. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07MBQPQ62/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  20. In no particular order Faulty Towers Young Ones Comic Strip Presents Bottom Blackadder 2, 3 & 4 Only Fools and Horses Porridge Red Dwarf Cheers Star Trek (all of em) Buck Rogers Battlestar Galactica (OG and new version) The Prisoner Starsky and Hutch Rising Damp Brass Eye 2nd Alan Partridge Season Kung Fu Hill St Blues Auf Wiedesen, pet Fast Show I just realised I could probably go on forever with this list, that's mostly stuff from when I was a kid...[emoji39] I'll do modern tv in another post
  21. Rage 2 releases soon, anyone picking it up? I'm hoping it's decent as it looks and may entice me.
  22. Didn't really lime it on console but I might have a look at the PC version at some point but have too many games I prefer at the moment. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  23. Arma 3, a military sim, is one of my favourite games of all time. Has a million mods, it spawned the DayZ mod and in fact the very first battle royale was an Arma mod. If you ever see it going cheap, snap it up. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  24. If anyone fancies a trial, it can be accessed and downloaded for the next week. Hit me up if you're interested.
  25. There's a Kraken with long tentacles that tries to sink the boat. There are fortress raids on the skeleton forts but regarding quests, there are three orders or factions that give them and I'll quote from a website: The factions in the Sea of Thieves provide constant access to the missions - quests called voyages in the game. For each order you will receive gold pieces allowing you to buy cosmetic decorations of the ship or elements of equipment and even new missions. Over time, you will have access to more expensive, but more lucrative orders. Your goal is to advance to the 50th level in each faction to unlock the conversation with the mysterious character in the tavern and access the endgame content of Sea of Thieves. Each faction offers different types of orders. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
