  1. I played on a GTX 770, and i7 4770 with no problem [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  2. Yep, but if you lower graphics settings you'll have no bother. Extra RAM won't hurt [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  3. I'd never heard of the board game but yes, William Gibson's novels are the bedrock of cyberpunk and the video game uses the same lore. I'll chuck you my copy of Neuromancer next time we meet up. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  4. There's imagination, and then there's fantasy. And in football anything is possible but no, Newcastle are fucked [emoji28] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  5. Whoever wrote the title of this thread cough cough LG needs a good long chat with Diddums for the excellent use of language. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  6. @GazzaGarratt@Plumbers Crack Can do tonight or tomorrow but think Leigh has something planned on Odubs tonight, so maybe tomorrow? @Diddumsstill waiting darling 🙂
  7. I will get a wheel at some point but I'll have to work on Mina very subtly, which I'm not great at 😅 Forgot to ask @J4MES OX4D if he's getting it? I have memories of an impressive F1 YouTube vid you did a while back. Or is that the lsd playing tricks with my memory, again.
  8. Is anyone thinking of reading up on the lore for this game? I know it's based on a role playing game but from what I understand the universe is built upon the foundations of William Gibson's Neuromancer series. Personally, I read Neuromancer as a kid, I may still even have it, so I'll be re-reading it and I might pick up the other two books from the series (Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive). Anyone else? Anyone thinking of picking up the RPG source books?
  9. Ice T on gaming trolls is mildy amusing for many reasons.
  10. Cheers James, I will take your advice! Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  11. It's certainly an interesting discussion. Things never stay the same, so let's see what happens. I'll leave it this: a fool and their money are easily parted [emoji39] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  12. Metaphors Lee? This forum just went up a notch, quality 🙂
  13. I've been staying away from SC since the last patch, as it had a few annoying bugs. I fancy giving it a go one eve this week. @Plumbers Crack fancy joining me? @GazzaGarratt Leigh? @Diddums someone's mum?
  14. Also, despite winding up Lee about it, I've been watching the women's world cup. What happened with Cameroon? Got a bit emotional there because of VAR. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  15. Is it a Friday night type of game? If its only 4 player, that sucks, in this day and age. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  16. I like how the games will all cost around £5. If that's true, great move. Anyone have any suggestions as to the best one to go for? I never played the original. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  17. I love VAR because it gives us the opportunity to moan, and we all love a good moan. Don't you dare say thats not true. Or I'll ask for a review. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  18. I've seen a video on it and it does look really good. I hear you need to be much more gentle on brakes etc compared to Gran Turismo. Fucking hell I really would love a wheel, so jealous [emoji1] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  19. Ha yeah, didn't want to use GT Sport's favourite saying after 'full send'. I've only raced once recently, 5th place last week on a track I hate. Once I've mastered my new challenge I'll finally feel able to compete online. Re ABS yeah, it turns out I need a challenge to keep me going and we'll see how it goes[emoji16] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  20. Phil's monthly rant inbound, no structure whatsoever, so apologies, I'm multitasking, and spouting off random thoughts. Again. As I say, it's a completely fucked up way of organising anything. It leads to short term thinking, and having such a law is a get out of jail free card for corporations to engage in the most anti-human practices imaginable. And here I'm not exclusively talking about the gaming industry. Car companies willing to take lawsuits rather than withdraw dangerous cars, clothing companies using child labour, tech companies building phones in China driving their employees to suicide, Amazon working conditions, the gig economy, zero hour work contracts etc etc etc all in the name of financial profit. But does profit care about humanity? I don't think so. Back to gaming: People didn't buy Anthem (among a number of recent EA flops), in fact they didn't buy it in droves, EA will not change their business practice despite that, and despite all of the continuing negative feedback. Because they've decided the direction they want to move in already. For profit. So how does the argument, 'don't buy it' work then? There's always a market who will buy shit because they don't know any better and will accept anything they are handed. Bethesda released a piece of shit when they could have held it back and finished it properly. Short term profit thinking here has almost destroyed Fallout. Don't even get me started about Mass Effect: Andromeda. Did anyone see the defence of loot boxes this week in the UK parliament? Surprise mechanics lol. The surprise is how gullible we all are. But profit must be made, so these robots robotically churned out a point of view only understood by robots. Robots with massive balls to be fair. BTW, please don't mention a pension I'll probably never see, Brexshit will see to that. We'll be working into our 80s.
  21. Funnily enough, I had a minor eureka moment tonight while watching youtuber GT Sport streaming the daily races. I've been struggling to understand how I'm losing time in corners and even watching videos of the top player fastest laps (a nice feature of the game) I've been baffled as to how I'm losing time. So, during the stream a viewer asked him which order to switch off driving aids. Here's the thing. I forgot I still have ABS enabled. I have TCS down to 1 or 2, depending on car and tyre and completely forgot about ABS. So I switched it off and tried Interlagos in the Audi. First couple of turns and I thought "fuck this". Breaked hard, locked and couldn't turn. Off into the nether region. Impossible. But then I worked out how to do it properly. Feels so good, like I've gone up another level. Learning to stop breaking before turning is something new for me to master and that's awesome. I can already see how driving in this way helps take a better line and I just need to watch i don't cut the corners too much[emoji16] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  22. I hear they're going to be adding weather conditions soon. That'll be interesting. Current Gr.3 race is at Interlagos and the fastest times I've seen are all in the Audi, which I hate driving at the best of times, so I'm trying out the Lexus for now. 1:34 in time trial but only 1:35 in the qualifying laps I've tried. Top drivers are getting 1:30. The first section kills me on hard tyres.
  23. So, this came free with my new PS4. I've been playing the shit out of it. It looks good, it's enjoyable being on a motorcycle, the melee is decent and the shooting at first is a little challenging. The comment above from @Sennex is right on the money. Last of Us on a motorcycle and fun.
  24. Profit, by any means necessary, enshrined in law. How wonderfully fucked up. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  25. The updates coming in Ocober will make me play 76 regularly, I've been looking at it recently. It's a shame they didn't wait a year. I don't have a problem with it being a multiplayer, just needed to be done properly. It is too late though for most people, which I understand completely. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
