I think I’ve tried all the VR headsets apart from the PSVR, the Index wins hands down for me. It’s not just resolution, the fit and feel is a lot nicer. Also the controllers are the dogs ballz.

I played the new zombies for a few hours the other week, managed to stumble into the easter egg stuff but then had no idea what to do. I know they're looking to bring in a proper story mode for zombies but i'm liking the new version so far. You can call in a copper and escape at round 10 for some bonus stuff or you can hang around for longer and keep fighting. Has anyone given this a go yet or is there anyone that would be up for teaming up and seeing if we can do the easter egg? I may have to eventually look up how to do it as i imagine it's almost impossible to work out unless you play it every day....i'm not even sure i can remember what i did 😄

I try and remember to pick this up, i played about 30mins of the first one then sold it. Always worth giving this one a try, especially as it's free.

I've seen a few clips of him, he looks like he could be the next big thing. Hopefully he settles well and can get some game time in before the end of the season.

Very disappointed we didn't beat City yesterday but it was just one of those games where we couldn't score. It doesn't happen that often now and we played quite well so i shouldn't be too disappointed but then again it is City. Looks like i'm a Spurs fan for the final!

I'd also look into a better chair, they looks little silly but the gaming chairs that look like racing seats are actually really good for posture.

I'd start saving your money and buy a better one later in the year as £300 is not going to get you a lot and you may find you'll have to buy another one in a few years time. My advice would be to buy a laptop stand and buy a seperate keyboard and mouse. Hi FG, we thought it best to make this a seperate thread so people can find it easily. Below will be a step by step guide on how to get the mod working. Step 1: - Make sure your 7 Days to Die game is up to date in steam, it'll need to be on A19.3. - To make sure you've got the correct version, right click on the game in steam and go to the beta tab. Then select alpha19.3 Stable Step 2: - Download the client version of the mod https://gitlab.com/KhaineGB/darknessfallsa19client/-/archive/master/darknessfallsa19client-master.zip Step 3: - Make a copy of your 7 Days To Die game, it's important to note that this copy should be made to a drive that isn't for your Windows OS. - To find the correct folder to copy, right click on the game in steam, go to local files and then click on browse. NOTE - This will take you into the folder you need to copy, so you'll have to come out one folder and copy the 7 Days To Die folder. Step 3: - Unzip the client mod file you've downloaded and go in until you see these folders. Step 4: - Now copy the 3 folders plus the icon and README file to your newly copied game and overwrite when prompted. Step 5: - Right click on the 7DaysToDie application, go to send to and make a short cut to your desk top. NOTE: It's important you don't use the 7DayToDie_EAC file Step 6: - Launch the game and happy surviving! So we've moved to Alpha 19.3 and we're still running the darkness falls mod. You'll just need to make sure that you're 7 Days to Die game in steam is updated to 19.3, then follow the link below. We're starting to get somewhere with this server, we still don't have a base that will withstand a horde night but it's slowly getting there. The big issue we have at the moment is screamers, they rock up almost constantly and when they scream, they basically scream in a horde night haha We've had a few get into our base lately, which isn't great, so it's oboviously not ready for a horde night. @GazzaGarratthas kindly made us some Minibikes, which i'm so thankful for as it's been a nightmare with stamina. Saying that, i've just remembered we need more fuel! Hopefully that's something we can make! I've just opened up tier 2 quests, it took a lot longer to get to this point! Hving two AI's you can get quests from in a trader has been brilliant, i constantly have about 6 quests/challenges going and that's without anyone sharing theirs. I'll try and remember to take some screenshots next time, i think our base looks pretty cool but it's all about the looks and zero about the safety 😂

Great win for us at Leeds yesterday, we were all over them. Hats off to Leeds though, they never seemed to think they were out of it at any point during the game. I knew there would be a lot of goals but i never thought there would be that many. I definitely recommend watching the highlights, if you missed it. We'll move within 2 points of Liverpool if we win our game in hand, not sure how that's happened. Its defintiely been an odd start to the season.

I honestly can't remember the last time i played a single player game, love the idea for this thread though! It might give me a nudge into playing more single player games.

It all seems a bit safe, even they got bored. I think we should design our own and see how it goes. We are a little bit away from being able to build something that big, we'll get there though.

I’ve only played a bit and I’m loving this mod so far, the amount of extra items is insane! First you start with two books you can read, which open up the two perks they relate to. Not only that, it opens quests for those perks which opens up more sections of that perk. You can then upgrade those perks with points from levelling up. I’ve had a look and it looks like you can create these books later on, to be able to open other things. I’ve chosen farmer and hunter, I know others have chosen different ones so hopefully we can work together to build up our shiz. The games gone from building one work station to having to build about 7 of them, all of them do different things. So far I don’t think it’s any harder than without the mod, there are just more zombies. Saying that, going out at night is a big no no at the moment but I’m pretty sure it’s normally like that at the start of the game. Food and water seemed to be a bit tight at the start and think it may be a struggle for food or at least until we’ve unlocked more recipes. The amount of animals that are about is ridiculous, unfortunately even your average cow might try to take you down haha

Haha We’re going to use the Darkness Falls mod, I’ll write up some instructions about what to download, these will be posted later. I do like @phil bottle idea of PvP, so we’ll play this for a while and look into changing it to PvP if everyone agrees.

The mods are purely to bulk out the experience, more things to do, more zombies, farming is harder as you have to water the crops etc Once we’ve chosen which mod we want I’ll write up a how-to-do, on how to get the mods.
