It's a browser extension which removes ads Dave. They recently updated it and this has reduced the site earnings on ads to single digit pennies because people run those ad blockers, not realising that those ads do in fact help keep the site online

Nothing goes to waste mate, it all ends up back in the community somehow, I just don't advertise it because some are too proud to admit anything, but rest assured every penny goes towards brightening someone else's day at some point I don't like asking, but I never turn anything down.

Never been a Star Wars fan. I've enjoyed the films I've seen, but not a hardcore fan like some folks are. That said, I was never a Trekkie either and JJ Abrams changed my opinion entirely with the last two. Now he's doing this, I think I'm gonna love it. Fun fact: My first ever "proper" date was when I took a chick to see Episode 1 in Holland. I delivered pizzas after work and she was the phone girl. First proper snog too

The red axe is your best friend. Doesn't consume ammo, they're fairly common, will take a zed out in one hit and are silent. Everyone's a killer, there's no such thing as friendly people any more, it's basically TDM.

Cool, I beat the boss on the third go and unlocked the doll. Upgraded some bits and pieces and fortified my cleaver. Repaired everything and headed in again. Ended up in the sewers, after exploring loads of side passages and stuff. Got killed by those crawly henchmen things in the sewer so I'm back at the central lamp. lol. I'm enjoying this game the more I play it. One thing I love is the voice acting, it's so bad it's become part of the charm of the game for me. Cockney spoken by Asians is hilarious, I love it. The Doll has an excellent voice too.

Nah, I still enjoy the game, make no mistake, and maybe I was spoiled by Blizzard, but in World of Warcraft, you pay for an expansion which contains about the same amount of content as the whole of destiny as it is now, including xpacs. More weapons, more armour, more dungeons, more raids, sometimes even new classes, races, entire continents to explore, shitloads of new mobs and bad guys, new PvP arenas, new mounts, new complete game changing features like Transmogrification (which has entire sub-social groups doing roleplay, people grinding old content for specific armour and weapons for the exact look they want) and reforging which although present in Destiny, only applies to very specific (Iron Banner) weapons. Garrisons, farming, new professions, and lots, lots more. These aren't base game shit, this is all stuff which comes out in expansions. In-between xpac patches contain more content than an entire DLC for Destiny, and are free. Yes the game is subscription based but this is negated by the fact that it's a single platform game. Destiny is on 4 platforms, which probably outsell WoW each. The old "hardware restrictions" debate is also a load of shit as WoW is a decade old and even on launch, despite its bugs, had more content than Destiny will ever have. Yes Destiny is a good game with a good social aspect and fluid gameplay but when the devs start expecting a pat on the back for doing what every other devs called "a daily job" then something's very wrong. If HoW was free, I'd be singing an entirely different tune but the fact that they have the audacity to charge for shit that so many game devs do for free and expect recognition for it as well, that means they're taking the piss.

Fuck sakes. I'm no programmer but I can tell you that each and every single one of those things they did took no longer than an hour. This is what a good dev would call a Weekly Update, not a fucking quarterly. Adding to this the fact that I refuse that the vault space thing was due to hardware limitations and that the new "xpac" is what any other dev would call a pre-order bonus or a free content patch, and Bungie can go fuck themselves. I still enjoy the game as I've paid for it, but I won't be purchasing any more shite from them any more, this level of piss taking is pathetic.

Ok, finally got the first shortcut unlocked. What do I need to upgrade shit? I had about 10k of that currency shit you get every time you kill something, can that be used for anything? I've used a bit to maintain my bonesaw or whatever it's called, but how I actually gain levels or points in a stat?

Right, I think I'm done. It's just too fucking frustrating. I haven#'t even managed to kill the first boss and I'm ready to throw this game in the bin. I can understand the game being hard. I can understand the challenge behind it all and the combat system is a masterpiece, but why the fuck are the checkpoints so far apart? Why do you have to get all the way to the other side of the map to unlock a shortcut? I love a good challenge, but this feels like it's being hard just because it can. It's ridiculous. Die. Run again, die. Run again, die. Now your weapon's fucked, so you do less damage, but you're still back at square one with all the bad guys waiting to kill you. Only way to repair weapon is to kill all the bad guys again, with your now weak ass weapon, and get back to the checkpoint which again is a billion miles in the wrong direction. Can't upgrade, because haven't killed boss yet. Do a nice, sneaky run, proud of self, get very far, some fucking dog jumps out of the shadows and literally kills me in one bite. If it's not a dog, it's some ogre thing. Again, one shot. Or some other thing with a massive fucking cleaver. Again, one shot. This is just fucking stupid now.

Oh shit, I thought I was up to date at episode 5 LOL. Just got hold of episode 6, Sickrage is a bit slow apparently. Really enjoying it so far. Very obvious it's from the same crew who made BB. You guys want a lil easter egg?
