Heard this on the radio this afternoon. Can't say I'm surprised tbh, the guy's been pushing his luck for years. If he does go I reckon that'll be curtains for TG, although something deep down inside tells me that this is all a publicity thing.

Why the blithering fuck does this game take so goddamn long to register anything? Once I've killed someone, why does it take the game long enough to let them kill me as well before actually killing them and crediting me with the kill? Why, when I've been using a shotgun all fucking day do you think it's fine to spawn me in with my primary? And no, not after I died with a heavy either, or without special ammo. Full special ammo, get killed, respawn, got a fucking auto rifle in my hand. Have you got any idea what a daft cunt I look like trying to get in someone's face to blast them, only to fire one or two auto rifle shots and then get killed? Why do we have to search for special ammo? Why not just spawn with it? Why is there no game mode without all the special / shoulder charge / super / other bullshit? Why, when in a random group, do I always get the team full of idiots, and why is the enemy team always full of little bitches? Why do snipers get an easy bounty of 15 headshots but us shotgun users have to get 10 buckshot bruiser medals, which is approx. 15.239x harder to get than a pussy ass headshot? Why the fuck does Thorn have this goddamn fucking stupid Void kills part, if Thorn doesn't have anything to do with Void? And last but not least, WHY THE FUCK DID I BUY THIS RUBBISH SHOTGUN? I'll continue this excruciating load of shit later when others are on, as rolling with randoms is less pleasant than brushing my teeth with barb wire.

Don't. Seriously, just don't. What a piece of shit. I need void kills for a new Thorn bounty and I had some spare marks so I bought it and spent a couple of hours levelling it up. What a fucking joke. It hits hard enough, but if you miss, by the time it's ready to fire again, your brains are smeared all over the wall. Biggest disappointment ever. I've never regretted buying anything until now, this thing blows so bad it's not even funny.

Been playing lots of crucible this morning. After the nerf I never bothered with auto rifles because I tried out the Abyss Defiant and it was dismal in pvp. I then went on to try loads of other guns but just couldn't find a groove. Thorn, Red Death, VoC, Bad Juju, to name but a few. Then this morning I came up against a Up For Anything and it floored me every time so I gave it a go. It is insane still, I don't even know how this can be remotely compared to the Abyss, the damage I'm doing with it is cray cray. Try it for yourself, it changed pvp for me.

Nah, usually not. I've got a kit bag in Holland full of the stuff, loads of sets which are all just flung in a bag. I'll pick it up when I'm next over there in June, but I'm keeping these sets as is. I've got all the boxes in mint condition, even the receipts. If you see how much vintage sets go for, you'll understand. Just the other day I saw a vintage Star Wars set fetch £6k. EDIT: Here, £4k for the Millennium Falcon. They did a DeLorean for a while too, although it's a discontinued set. It went for £45 or so and the cheapest I can find one online now is £60, so a 33% jump in value over a couple of years. I'm tempted to bite the bullet and buy it as it's a very cool set and I absolutely loved BTTF but I can also get a much bigger set for that money. One thing I love about these sets as well is that they don't come with regular instructions like most sets, but a thick-ish paperback book with loads of trivia and information regarding the vehicles and the films they were in, including the actors and whatnot. The Eiffel Tower above has this too, it feels much more premium to the regular sets. An argument that I always see arise is "lego is meant for playing" which is true, but as an adult I also like to be able to enjoy them and either give them to my kids later on as toys or investments, and it's much nicer to do so when they're complete sets all boxed up.

What started out as a quick purchase of a minifigure at WH Smiths quickly turned into a bit of an obsession, and after mentioning it last night, some folks said it'd be nice to have a Lego thread so here we are! I've got a fair few sets now, and one thing I love is that Kyla and I do it together. Here's our collection so far: Already built: Camper Van (10220, 1334 pieces), Go Kart (31030, 106 pieces), Lots of Minifigures, some of which are in a Lego display case: Mini Cooper (10242, 1077 pieces), A couple of the Shell sets: Sets in progress: Kyla's (Cinema, set 10232, 2194 pieces): Mine (Crane Mk. II, set 42009, 2606 pieces): Sets we still need to build: Ghostbusters Ecto 1 (set 21108, 508 pieces): Detective's Office (set 10246, 2262 pieces), Eiffel Tower (set 21019, 321 pieces) and a few more minifigures. Kyla loved that cup so we got her that too: Tower Bridge (set 10214, 4295 pieces): And Benny's Spaceship, spaceship, SPACESHIP!!! (set 70816, 940 pieces): I built this one a few years ago then took it apart and shelved it. I need to rebuild it again. T-Rex: And a random thingy I picked up at Legoland: Go on, if you're a fan, show us what you've got!

Honestly, the state I was in by the time I got into that nightfall, I'm surprised I made it at all. Maybe I should have a mocha cafe latte poofilino next time.

Hmmm. 4k is lovely but in terms of gaming performance we won't be there for a long time still. Even triple 8gb 290x cards can't max the games at decent rates. Personally I'd say 1440p and get a monitor with the price. Honestly once you see the picture on my monitor compared to anything 1080p you'll see why, it's simply on a whole different level. I'll scribble something up later xxx

Ohai Me again. First off, what peripherals have you got? How much space have you got? What resolution do you want? You could get a 1080p monitor with eleven millionty refresh rates or a 1440p with a good refresh rate. You could also go 4k with a slower refresh rate but this will melt your face when editing. Imagine all your apps, all at once, on one massive screen. Personally I've got a Samsung 32" 1440p screen that cost summat like £380 and it is just gorgeous. 32" might sound large but once your'e used to it, there's no going back. When you say green, do you mean the colour or Nvidia? We can build it at mine if you like. I'll just hafta push all my Lego aside
