Two things. First off, shores of time. I don't even bother any more. If that map comes up, it's back to orbit and try again. That is the only map which can fuck me off more than call of duty did because there are always snipers camping C. Not sometimes, every. Fucking. Game. Without. Fail. Also, hand cannons. I tried using hawkmoon in pvp and well. Fuck that. Never again.

I'm not even sure that will save the franchise for me. Don't get me wrong, I love the series, BFBC2 was awesome, BF3 was great once the initial dust had settled, but BF4 was such a clusterfuck it just wasn't worth it in hindsight. I still have issues with it on PC and my PC is no slouch. It's just a shambles. If any other person, in any other line of work, had let such a product get past quality control, they'd be on their arse. Yet we as gamers just suck it up and let these corps fist us so fucking hard every time. I shudder at the thought of handing cash over for games nowadays because of all the bullshit we have to put up with. I'm not even going to list them all, but things like microtransactions (Evolve anyone?), day one DLC, day one patches, sub-par connection issues, etc etc are the bane of gaming nowadays. Don't even get me started on early release bullshit. Pay for a fucking Alpha? Fuck right off. Grrrrr.

All the shit I get which isn't Titan stuff turns out to be Huntard stuff. Even when on my warlock, they STILL turn into huntard stuff.

I couldn't give a toss about the weapons. I've got too many as it is and deleting them pisses me off because the week after they get buffed or some shit. I want a good raid, not this cheesy bullshit, better strikes, pvp maps and for the love of fucking god, MORE CHARACTER MODELS!!!!!! Seriously, that pisses me off the most. There are like 20 models or so in the game and bosses / sub-bosses / trash / mission mobs / wild mobs are all variations of the same fucking stuff. All they do is slap a different skin on, maybe change the size a bit and voila, we have a new boss. Which is exactly the same as a level 3 mob you kill hundreds of time every day.

A laptop wouldn't cope with your usage. When rendering a cpu and often gpu are put under some serious strain for prolonged periods and a laptop simply doesn't have the room for a cooling solution capable of handling it. Let me know when you've got the bits. I'll put a USB together with all the software and an OS so it'll pretty much be plug 'n play. Also let me know exactly what you get so I can grab the latest drivers n shit. Also also, will it be wired or wireless? If wireless, we'll hafta get you a wifi card too.

Gigabyte mobo - Lots of features. Tons you'll probably never use but we're paying for the reliability here, not the features. Last thing you want is to be working on a massive project only for the thing to bluescreen or something. 16gb of RAM - You could go to 32gb later on, but I'd try this first and see how it goes, and like this you're still in budget. It's also a 2x8gb rather than a 4x4 kit so you'll always have a few slots spare should you want to upgrade later. GTX980 - Fastest single-core GPU on the market. 'Nuff said. The only card that will trump this in the foreseeable future is the Titan X, which goes on sale tomorrow and will be between £800 and a grand. You could however go for an AMD R9 290x 8gb model which will come pretty damn close to this 980 performance wise and in some games even beat it. This will save you a hundred or so but you'll need a few fans in the case as that baby pumps out enough heat to power Bangkok. The 980 has very low power needs and heat dissipation. Great card. 600w PSU - Again, a bit of a premium here but this is for reliability purposes. This is assuming the 980 as GPU. If you go for the AMD option, go for a 750w. As this PC is now, this PSU is perfectly fine and this PSU will allow you to clock the nuts off both the CPU and GPU without breaking a sweat. Case - This is just a placeholder but is a great case. Pick any ATX case you like which is in budget and a reputable brand.
