  1. After seeing some decent reviews for this, and giving the demo a go, I pre-ordered it and can't friggin wait to dive into it.

  2. I do hope they ditch the "tank" controls, and have a more modern movement style. Much like how Metroid Prime remastered added the dual stick controls, I feel this series of games would benefit from it.

  3. I actually really love the look of this one. Weirdly its getting panned, maybe because people it should be a grand, open world-esque type of game but Prince of Persia has always been a side-scroller and this looks like its a great way to deliver it imo. And I bet it won't be a triple A price too. Thoughts everyone? Plus out on my birthday next year (18th Jan) so it has to be a hit surely? 😁

  4. So I have gotten into putting a documentary on whilst working at the moment, typically around topics I have an interest in, the planet, climate change, science and tech. So I just thought I would see if anyone here watches any and even more specifically if anyone has any gaming related one's that they would recommend?

  5. I got that right but let's face it; it weren't exactly a difficult prediction!

  8. I do want to jump straight on to the 2nd but will be going through them in order. I'm all for remasters but it's the remakes as I find they have modernised them for today's gamers not the generation that grew up playing them.

  9. Not sure where they can go from here. They've tried everything now and even allowed borderline porn in the last few weeks in a desperate attempt to expand their range. Be interesting to see if Amazon hold onto it or if they just sell up and wind-down their struggling gaming division. I personally don't like Twitch as it's a cesspool of overpaid scummy creators and useless interaction features. Its extreme bias has pushed so many away to YouTube and other rival platforms and it seems every new innovation gets rolled-back because of woeful implementation or it being a downright stupid idea. Very hard for aspiring streamers to make any progress at an entry-level if they aren't managed by a shadow-network either, and even with the toxic hellhole of Kick up their arse, they still can't get stability even with all the garbage that's left the platform. 11. I see that point and rightly thats definitely one way it could end up, but I'd air on the side of being positive for this one for a change. Ubisoft don't make all bad stuff, and its easy to just expect that all games need to be open world sandboxes but as we know alot can come out and be a mess and have no depth at all. I think the way it is a 2D scroller but with 3D characteristics in many places gives it a different feel. I feel like its the same as if Final Fantasy went and brought a new game out going back to the ATB system they used at the start of the franchise. It would be loved by many I would expect. Plus, at least it won't be full price for a side scroller either.

  12. I have kinda mixed feelings with it being a side scroller - on the one hand, at least it's not a bloated open world online service but on the other, it's really lacking ambition especially as most of their games in this franchise are 3D and were once quite regarded. Feels like a step back but it could also be something a bit different than the usual Ubi tripe. This game will probably be out before Skull and Bones too🤣
