I enjoyed it when it first came out, visually it looks great for an MMO and it's a little more accessible to new players I think, I'd be happy to jump back in on it tbf. Saints Row and Generation Zero are both multiplayer as well I believe so would be happy to give both of them a go with people too at some point ^_^

The PS subscription is money in Sony's pockets for not a lot of effort. People will suck it up as usual. Some will even defend the increase. So, its a no-brainer for Sony. I do have Gamepass with Microsoft as it allows me to play on either console or PC but I take breaks from it. I didn't have Gamepass in June or July but I've started it up again for Starfield. I keep forgetting to cancel my Disney subscription and a month has turned into a year, so cheers, this thread has reminded me of that 😁

Because: “This price adjustment will enable us to continue bringing high-quality games and value-added benefits to your PlayStation Plus subscription service.” But we all know the real reason is that they're the market leaders and they're greedy so they're doing it because they can. The slogan they use for Playstation is "For The Players" but it feels more like "Fuck The Players".

It's silly to think this will sell more Xbox consoles to me as it's not "exclusive" since it's available on PC. Unfortunately we don't understand what words mean these days. When it's PS exclusive, it really is! Like GranTurismo. You cannot play it on any other platforms. I'll be playing Starfield on PC because fuck Xbox. To me, 10/10 I would spend the money on a PC and play whatever I want vs buy a new gaming system. As long as Xbox is tethered to PC, it will never be exclusive or match PS.

I feel like I've been watching the same Belgium team for the past 20 years! Gareth needs to stop picking his buddies and focus on the future irrespective of the work and services those old experienced players have provided.

Reviews are slowly drifting in and it's not looking too good from the big boys. 75% on PC Gamer and a 7/10 from IGN and Gamespot so far. These are perfectly good scores however this game was supposed to be the masterpiece across the board that justified Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda and it being the huge console seller to bring Xbox closer to Playstation. Early indications suggest this isn't gonna be it although review scores are largely subjective and should be taken with a pinch of salt. Regardless, I expected a bit of a better media reception.

The Netherlands and Belgium are prime examples of what's happening to teams that can't part with 'key' players that obviously need replacing.

Desperately trying to get rid of Sánchez, Dier and Tanganga with no replacements in line is also a recipe for disaster.

So @Lurchzy and I jumped on the wow hardcore band wagon and really didn't enjoy it lol! However, I took the opportunity to go back to Wrath of the lich king classic and play my death knight again, loved it! Saw my paladin was level 64/80 and decided...I'm gonna get that fucker to 80 so I can have some choice in cataclysm! A week later and he's level 70 and i'm officially grinding it out in Northrend. It's funny how sometimes all you need is a little break from a game to enjoy it again!

I can't be bothered sorting out a PC for gaming so I'll keep paying. I only use the "essential" Playstation Plus as the other tiers just look shit compared to Game Pass and I have an Ultimate subscription for that.

Exactly what I did! Ha! 😄 I'm trying to look into how my gaming pattern will take me in the next few months as I want this to be a part of it. I'd love to see news about different elements of the game as people start to play it as I hope it can match that social Destiny vibe because more games should have that feeling.

Very disappointed with Spurs last night. Same old culprits making the same old mistakes. I would've personally just fielded a full-strength side instead of relying on players that have proven time and time again that they aren't good enough and also don't have a future at the club. There's probably 4 that still need offing and another 5 brought in which includes like-for-likes and a new recognised striker. Sanchez is about as good as Gary Doherty was back in the day.

We've needed to get rid of Sánchez for 2 seasons now and he's still at the club. Trying not to be too angry about the penalty miss but he's the reason we conceded the first goal too. Just not good enough. Where has this Kane money gone? And why haven't we prioritised getting a quality ST and backup CB? I believe Ange can do something with this team already, we just need to make sure he gets the deadwood out before that starts getting back into the changing room environment.

Looks like Spurs are concentrating on the League and FA Cup double this year 🤔 🙈😅 I hope they jog some of the deadwood on ASAP 🙃

Ha ha indeed, some people do seem to look to be disappointed, although the reaction to NMS meant I was able to buy it for £5 😁

It's a Bethesda game, using that knowledge, it seems like it's much better than typical for them. I'm also one of those gamers that got platinum on NMS in the first year when everyone was bitching and moaning, I also played Fall Out 76 when everyone was complaining, and others. Not being satisfied is based on your own expectations. Folks with untenable expectations will never be happy playing anything. I'm stoked for sure, delaying the game was the right move.

New patch now live. Nothing exciting, mostly bug fixes. With autumn approaching I will likely be back on DayZ at some point. Still not tried DayZ Tarkov and there's a few other interesting modded servers that have my attention.

I definitely agree - I'd also much prefer to walk around a crafted planet with purpose than some barren wasteland generated by algorithms like in No Mans Sky. I think a lot of people who have genuine concerns are just a bit worried that the game isn't going to be as open or seamless as originally promoted especially with Todd Howard and Bethesda's track record.

I think my favourite bosses may be a little different, growing up with a lot of my games I rarely got to final bosses, whether it was a shorter attention span or not being good enough I don't know, however I did get to a few bosses when it came to JRPG's. I think the first one I always think of is a boss that I don't think you ever got to beat from memory - I thought her character was fantastic throughout, I know not a main feature but her loyalty to the crown, her strength, she came to her senses midway through the game, I don't think they realised at the time but if they had fleshed her story out a little more it would have paid off.

Do you really care to walk around a planet? Seems ridiculous to judge a game based on something the developers never actually said. It has been confirmed that you can land anywhere with drop pins or something like that. I'm of opinion that you can't make someone happy no matter what if they get pissy about not spending years of real life walking around a planet in a video game. Those type of people just want to see the world burn.

Game has been and continues to be a massive success. Not a single micro transaction or pay walled content. Still, I'm not allowed to play it until Destiny: Original Sin 2 is completed. So, it'll be a tenner by the time I play it 😭😅

Classic James and appreciated 🤗 yeah I do wonder when everyone goes mad for a game, if perspective is often lost. Fortunately we're kept grounded on here 😁 It's getting 800k concurrent players just on Steam and metacritic jumps between 93 and 94. Hopefully by the time I get around to it the dust will have settled and more people will have played more and fed back. I am itching to try it out I must admit.

So I’ve played a bit more since release day and it’s really nice to have a game that is complete, isn’t divided up into improvised seasons with garbage content, and has no season pass or microtransactions, plus can be played offline. However the more I play, the more apparent it becomes that this is just a hardcore version of Divinity Original Sin 3. It just doesn’t feel resemble Baldur’s Gate at all. The characters have layers of depth and deep interactions, yet I don’t feel much of a rapport between the party members. The combat system is also quite dull especially compared to something like Wasteland 2 and you can stumble into impossible encounters far too often. The writing isn’t as good as I was expecting from a narrator and dialogue standpoint and I also think the interface is hideous. Really not a fan of some of Larian’s aesthetics or general art style. Character creator and voice lines is extremely limited although the classes are riddled with depth. it’s a tough one - on the one hand this is a solid product that a lot of people will enjoy and on the other, it’s just another Larian RPG pretending to be a BG title that doesn’t ooze a personality or have the narrative to back it up. I found it to be amazing and intriguing at first but it’s beginning to stink in some areas and it’s shortcomings are obvious.

I want to have a look into getting this game. My brother (@Loz Mars) and I are thinking about starting a co-op campaign, which could be very fun.

Decided to bite the bullet and picked it up - absolutely amazing game so far!

I am looking forward to playing this, I have been umming and arring about getting it for my Playstation though, I know it means waiting a little but I think it will be easier to play ^_^ In the meantime I am playing the last Pathfinder game, I always find the combat in these games tough mind!

Today is the day and it's the biggest release of the year! Rare you see hype on a game this massive. I'm still undecided but only due to time constraints but looking forward to seeing how much has been accomplished in the final release.
