All ARs are platinum. That give me 39/51 guns platinum. The rest of the long shots should be easier.

So I've recently managed to get the SO-14 gold, thats all the battle Rifles gold. I did find using it in full auto with a 50 round mag and turning it into an LMG more successful and fun. Also got my first Marksman Rifles gold with the SPR and LMS. Got my first Pistol gold with the Desert Eagle . 50Gs. That is all for now.

I've played it a bit on PC, and I believe @TurboR56Mini and @RenFengge have been talking about playing it too. I love the Fallout games. I'll install it today on playstation to see what it's like on console. I agree @GazzaGarratt as its free we should be able to get a few of us on it, get it installed 🙂

I was looking forward to this as I love the apocalyptic style of games, however I do feel the zombie thing has been done to death now. Surely they could get a bit more creative with end of world / life scenario's. I won't be picking this up right away and can see it being one of those games that drops in price pretty quick so maybe will give it a go when it's a little cheaper. Besides with FO76 on PS I have been getting back into that which is providing my post apocalypse fix for the time being.

Zombie Division. Hard pass. I'm so done with the whole zombie genre.

Finally got round to picking this up it's basically siege turned up to 11 on the realism scale. Phil and I spent literally all night in one mission. It was hard. Could do with maybe one more person to make it a bit easier. I'm loving it though.

I have been on 🙂 Up to level 14 I think now, been pottering about with a couple of friends and it play's fairly well, loading time's aren't too great if you fast travel and such but I'm not sure if it installed on my internal storage or external. It's typical fallout but I am enjoying something that isn't quite so fast paced and hectic and running round just trying to shoot other people. Kinda pleasant!

It is quite tough with just two people but a lot of fun. Amazing to think it's an early access game. The gun play is superb.

I'll shoot zombies until the cows come home, and then some. I'll never tire of that. I like shooting shit. I find that fun. I don't like being in an army, or a government agent, or a cop and the way the world is, I end up having to be a character like that in many games we play. So zombies are fine by me 😅 But yeah I get scam vibes from this game...

SMG's are next I got the BAS-P Gold tonight I don't usually run SMGs as I struggle with the recoil on them but I'm finding you can create some sensible builds making them more manageable to my playstyle.

With the announcement of the Minecraft better together update which supports cross play we've chatted about having an FG server. Last time though we never pulled the trigger as it still hadn't been rolled out to all platforms. Chatting to Matty @Misneach_ the other day about quite enjoying playing on a vanilla server, he checked and the better together is now across all platforms. So PC, PS4/5. Xbox's, Switch, phones and tablets alike can all play together on the same server and with discord available for free, it's easy to all chat together too. What is Minecraft? I think most people know of the game but having had a few conversations with FG'ers not everyone knows the game. In short, Minecraft is an open world sandbox game with the aim to traverse and survive the 3 dimensions and ultimately kill the 2 bosses, the Wither and Ender Dragon. Along the way you can take the short route, the long, manually mine and harvest resources or set up automatic farms, build, trade, fight - it's up to you. How to join; If you're on console or mobile device, the version you download will be the correct version. For PC, you will need to make you download the version which in most places it is referred to as the "Windows 10 version" (if you want to cross play do NOT get the java edition). If you're new to MC on the PC then you will need to buy it however, if you had an old java account you could, and maybe still can, claim a free Windows 10 copy. Actually joining the server, you will need an invite, however Matt has set the server up as friends of friends, so one of us already on the server should be able to chuck an invite your way if you want to join. We just need your Microsoft account name to send you a friends request and invite. I'm sure there's something important I'm missing but any questions just ask and I'll update this post to include the Q&A's.

I steal this thread for a minute.. on shotties, is it best with a tight or wide pellet spread? Cant remember what I used in earlier cods.. Given the hit detection, I lean to a tight spread..

Same here, If I goto the PPRs Category I can't see any PPRs and if I go into them from the Activity list I cannot post.

You are more than welcome, it helped me understand some aspects of the game a bit more too, and it was nice having that bit of NFL banter on the whatsapp group. Would love to make it bigger for next season, and i will try to organise the draft so everyone can be online next time 😂😂😂

That Game Boy light was a MUST when I was growing up! Great thread @Luseth , I'll have to give it some thought as there has been plenty of gadgets that i've used over the years and should still have but will need to have a good think which ones are good for sharing here😅

Thanks @Antpool84 for organising this, it really has been a great thing to keep going through the WInter months and brings a lot of us together when we don't see much of us online sometimes. I definitely think we'll have some more to join us next year. I'm expecting to get some more Americans in early so they have no choice ( @TigerBurge @Jason cough cough) but also new people should really give this a go too. I know @Ally is keen on getting involved next time!

I agree with you and I think that, much like many 3D films, many games do it as a gimmick or addon. However a game like Alyx, much like Avatar for films, that is made specifically for VR then it can show off VR in it’s best light. Though on second thoughts, I’d probably go for niche rather than gimmicky as the adjective of choice. Which ties in to, as you said, the types of games people play. Unlike 3D films though, VR seems to have more of a foot hold so maybe we’ll end up with Ready Player One and look back at this era as we do today to tiny black and white tv’s.

Developers silence spoke volumes The Day Before: Steam's Most Wishlisted Game Shifts to Unreal Engine 5, But Gets a Delay NORDIC.IGN.COM The open world survival MMO will now arrive in March 2023. Probably wont even arrive then. Yet another title I will happily pass on.

Welcome back Anna @craftofboredom Great to see you back. It’s annoying when life gets in the way but hope it’s treating you well. Of course you’re welcome though, once an FG’er always an FG’er. I assume you’ll be on PC? so you can download the windows 10 version of Minecraft and click the invite link Misneach posted above. Let us know when you’re hoping on and I’ll give you the tour 🙂

A small update on the server, the mob farm has been expanded to now also include an iron farm with a small sugar cane farm. The sugar cane farm probably is a little too small currently so will be expanded in the future if we need it. The mob/iron/sugar cane farm has been linked through the nether too and the portal can be found at East -7. I'll be bringing the stuff back for the main storage room but for now all the drops can be found at the farm. On the subject of storage, the storage room above is no more and it has been replaced by a much bigger version. The new version features 2 double chests for 64 sortable items currently set to iron, gold, redstone, copper etc. and bulk storage of 12 double chests for the common items like cobblestone, stone, andesite, granite etc. All chests are marked by the block in the floor or ceiling with items that don't have a block form marked with an item frame. There's still 10 slots not assigned so if you think of anything that isn't assigned, let me know and I can set the filter. Currently any items that aren't filtered just go to the chests above this room which is accessible using the water column in the middle of the room. # Upstairs is a bit bare currently though ultimately will feature overflow storage for the auto-filtered room as well as manually sorted chests for those things we won't have a lot of i.e a redstone chest that will contain comparitors, repeaters, observers, droppers etc. basically stuff linked by a common thread but that we won't have bulk numbers of them. If there's room too, I'll be adding a super smelter too as as they're always useful. Giving the size of the building, I'm hoping for a 16 furnace version but we shall see how things pan out. And yes, the storage room is an eye sore currently as I've built the inside first as that's the practical part. I know how I shall be decorating the outside but I just need to gather enough blocks first then it will be made pretty......well prettier at least.

Ha! Sounds good. I haven't played Minecraft in a bit. I've been hooked on Elder Scrolls and League of Legends lately. I'm definitely due for some Minecraft. 👍 I've had my account for yeeeears, so I'm sure it's the old Java version. I hope I don't run into any issues trying to switch over!

Must admit this trailer pulled me in a lot more than the previous one. I'll say this, if the combat/gun play feels good, I'm now actually interested in this game.

Feels a bit off and like a cheapo version of The Division which is essentially what it is The devs really need to start selling the concept and what differentiates it from that game.
