I'm so far out of the hardware loop that I couldn't even tell you whether to go AMD or Intel anymore. So to that end I'll suggest selling the kid and pooling the money for his PC and going to Vegas instead.

Intel or AMD for a CPU is a little from column A and a little column B. On the top end, AMD releae a new chip and tale the lead, then Intel release a new chip and take the lead then rinse and repeat. More mid-range it gets a bit murkier as I’m not sure on the price to performance. I’m also not certain of prices in USD but for a similar budget here you could get something like a Ryzen 5600x or Intel 12400 with appropriate motherboard. I’d recommend 16Gb RAM with as fast as you can get, probably 3200MHz at minimum. I’d also recommend getting an M2 SSD as they’re super fast and you could re-use your existing drives as additional storage. PSU it depends what you end up speccing and future proofing you want to do. Once you have a rough idea of spec there’s plenty of PSU calculators online. I’d guess you’ll only probably need 500-600W at most. Though depending on how long you expect the PC to go for and if it will see futude GPU upgrades, it’s cheaper to spec higher watt one now than have to change in the future. Corsair, Seasonic and SuperFlower are generally the top brands but it does depend on specific models. Case, I’m sure you could re-use the existing one as not much really changes in cases design except for the addition of tempered glass and generally a reduction in hdd bays. So up to you on if you want to switch cases. GPU, I’d imagine you could get a RTX3060. Dependong on USD pricing and if you don’t want a case, you might be able to go for a 3070. Though even a 3060 is 4x or 5x faster than a 480 so would be a massive improvement. If you go on PC part picker you can spec a PC and share a link for us to look at. For some reason, on my phone, it defaults to UK so can’t put a US build together.

My logistics journey continues slowly but surely. I’ve fully paid off my initial loan so it leaves me with just ~£4.5k a day to pay in loans. So, with no help from crashing and speeding tickets, I’ve saved enough to buy my second garage. Though I don’t yet have the money to buy any trucks to fill the second garage 😄 Only need to save ~£200k for the trucks so shouldn’t take too long. I’ve fully ranked up the long distance and high value on my drivers so now ranking up their hazerdous materials. Hopefully, once everything is fully ranked up they will start earning some better money. Though £4-£5k a day total isn’t to be sniffed at but it’d be nice to earn a little more to help towards more trucks and garages.

Hey folks, I'm Tove and am new around here, late 30s lifelong gamer dad. I'm mostly into FPS and Fighting games. Most recently playing the new call of duty and enjoying it at around 100 Hours in. I used to play a lot of Dead by Daylight but had to step away from that earlier this year and have spent most of it trying to find a new main multiplayer game which I seem to have found in MWII I thought it might be Overwatch 2 but the solo experience on that was just dire. I hadn't noticed that so far so thanks for sharing Kenny! Funnily enough though I believe there is an automatic setting that I seem to have switched on that helps me auto mount whenever i'm close to things so I've not had to worry too much about mounted kills just yet. I'm sure for the long range ones though I'll need this!

Can't believe Championship is slowly getting going again already, where has the time gone?? Hopefully the small break will help keep the league competitive way into next year. Its definitely been a mental year in the Championship as everyone is beating everyone. This is the year for some surprises in that top 6.

Some fantastic upsets just showing why football is loved so much being one of the most unpredictable sports in the world. Really hoping we can carry momentum into the Senegal game today. I really do think it will be a tough match and probably more stop/start than a full flowing game. Feeling positive still though so come on England!

Do I absolutely need to use a wheel for this? Just thinking sometimes to hop in here and there may be just a ballache getting my wheel out every time. I picked up the version with some xpacs that were on sale so all in all cost less than 10 quid. Just need to find some time to get on over some weekends so I can get used to it. Whats a good first objective to aim for?

Got the Icarus done today. The best gun in the game in my opinion. I needed to get the mantle kills done. I have a 2.1 K/D using that gun. Nothing else I have compares to it. Also did the SPR 208. I really like that gun too

FIFA 22 Pro Clubs Here we are, back again. Our FG Pro Club team has returned for another season of victory, laughs and most importantly... blazing shots over the bar! Our previous season saw us win countless trophies, cups and even head-to-heads with rival teams. As well as winning everything imaginable, last season gave us an amazing platform for new signings to make a name for themselves and really bring character to a good team. We truly built something FG can be proud of. However... with all that said, we're back again on the new release of FIFA 22 for some more amazing football. Craving the same dizzy heights of the last season. Striving for more trophies and more laughs along the way. This season we'll be continuing with the same format as last season with, Monday nights being our main meetup time. Hope we have as much fun as we did last season! Don't be alarmed if you haven't brought the new FIFA game yet. FIFA 21 MNF we be continuing until the new year before we start on the new game, so you won't be left out 🙂 GGFG!

Yeah he never struck me as being overweight ever really and his weight loss has been a process over many years apparently. That’s why I was a bit shocked at the latest picture because it certainly isn’t what he looked like a few months back. Looks like a dramatic sudden drop on top of some facial changes which has caused the stir. The picture actually came from a short video which he deleted due to ‘concerns’ from fans and probably his PR team.

3-0 England! Solid display overall despite a shaky first 30 minutes. First goal was a clinical move and sweeping finish and the second was a superb breakaway at a crucial time. Third one wrapped it up and we saw out the game comfortably. Also nice to see us being more direct because all that backwards passing in the opening quarter put us into real trouble more than once. Bellingham was immense again and a fine display from Henderson who seems to have been around longer than Madonna! France a week Saturday it is!

I lost 40lb and everyone was asking me why I chopped my winky off.

Yep, it's been released for the crimbo market and Fat Shark have form for adding to their games after release. I unfortunately have some rabid warhammer nerd friends who are loving it some may have to pick it up on Steam, will see, as playing with randoms is, as Lee knows, something I fucking hate 🙂

Crazy that they have a fully functioning cash shop but haven't finished implementing solo yet or other simple features🤣 Game had quite a long and significant beta phase plus it's released with other issues on top. I may wait and then give it a try on Game Pass sometime.

So I have been working towards and picking up a few gold camos, mostly coming through gameplay and just trudging along with a gun until I get it ^_^ And just typing this out I realise I have a couple more than I realised. So far I have (just working through assault rifles at the moment as they are my preferred choices, imagine I will move onto SMG's next) - Taq-56 (Got this last night) M4 Kastov 762 STB-556 Kastov 545 I am now working towards the Kastov 74U which isn't too bad, I have 4 of the point blank kills that Lee said are a pain in the ass but I find these are ok if you manage to get the drop on someone and I have 10 of the 30 crouched kills. Maybe if I get the lacman 556 (have not used this yet) and the M16 which I haven't unlocked yet I will be able to look at platinums on the assault rifles before too long.

I still think it's stupid, people need more time, yes it may be the same team as last years title winning side but I still look at that squad and think there are very few top quality players, it's a very average squad all round in my opinion apart from the strike force if it was fully fit... Managers need more time to build there own team, even if SAF was there still I would see this UTD side struggling...
