  1. Again, yet another example of "been there, done that." Pass.

  2. As @J4MES OX4D mentioned in a separate thread, GR: Frontline, along with a Splinter Cell VR game, and 2 unknown/unannounced games have all been cancelled by Ubisoft. They've also delayed the release of the upcoming Avatar game. Reasons given by a Ubisoft exec was a "cost cutting measure to emphasize even more focus on our biggest development opportunities." Thoughts? Ubisoft Cancels Ghost Recon Frontline, Splinter Cell VR, Two Unannounced Games WWW.GAMEINFORMER.COM Ghost Recon's foray into battle royale will not see the light of day.

    Live A Live

This one has just released on July 22nd for the Switch and it's giving me some old school, classic SNES ROG vibes. This is a remake/rerelease of a title that never made it's debut over here. If anyone grabs it, please let us know what you think about the game. I'm very curious about it.

  5. Maybe if they stopped making games people didn't want then they wouldn't have to cancel them๐Ÿคฃ It just defies belief how many bad decisions they've made and this is a company that has several development houses scattered all over the globe and a huge budget so they don't really need to cut costs - just make some decent original and appealing games without having to chase trends, nickel and dime consumers further or copy and paste stuff you've been making for years. I don't think I can tolerate another Far Cry or Assassin's Creed title. 10 years ago Ubisoft looked to be dominating the PS4/XB1 gen with some hugely original titles like The Division, The Crew and Watch Dogs which were all commercial successes and went on to have sequels. A decade later and they are cancelling shitty outdated concepts and pinning their hopes on dominating the FPS genre with XDefiant. Skull and Bones looks like it'll be a threadbare disaster and for some reason they have been immune to making a new Splinter Cell or proper Ghost Recon game from the ground up, probably because they can't find a way to monetise it adequately. They've been very fortunate with the success and wide appeal of Seige and that's about it. The company is fucked and it serves them right because years ago they stuck their middle finger up to single player games and championed live services. Now they are getting it right up the bumhole.

  6. โ€˜Rebuilt from the ground upโ€™ - what a load of bollocks Even the most die-hard TLOU/Naughty Dog are pissed at this looking at some of the reactions. Aside from the slight texture rework, itโ€™s the same game from nearly a decade ago. Same dated mechanics and animations and even the redone textures look low quality in places compared to TLOU2. Complete and utter cash grab at ยฃ60/$70. Most needless release imaginable.

    FIFA 23

I know i'll probably have to get it in the end as the FIFA FG nights have been fantastic and kept going strong for over the last 2 FIFAs now. It just pains me that its ยฃ70 whereas i'd be happy to be part with 20-30 so i could put the other bit of money towards other games we may want to pick up in the not too distant future. We demand so much of games these days, seeing more new content as a minimum to buy the game...but EA just shows the other developers the hard ball way to do it. "Buy it, or just don't play with everyone else on a football game". These new editions should come with new game modes and significant updates to existing game modes. Thats what trailers should show off. That trailer does nothing other than a slightly different UI for free kicks. Splendid. I can't wait to see the new football games breaking through once again over the next 12 months. We may have to be patient with them but I think they'll deserve some of our attention due to the sheer lack of updates these FIFA games get.

  12. Not really surprising. All of the typical Ubisoft micro-transactions aside, I've found the ghost recon series really deviating away from what it was all about initially.

  15. Ah it's ok, I did not mean to put a dampner on the subject, more just pointing out that a lot of tattoo's have meaning behind them i.e. yours is about friendship. I can't say it's the case for everyone and every tattoo but often there are meanings behind the one's people choose to have.

  16. Game has been cancelled๐Ÿ˜‚ Ubisoft Has Officially Stopped Development on Ghost Recon Frontline - IGN WWW.IGN.COM Not only is Ubisoft delaying Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and another unannounced game, but it's also... They may as well cancel XDefiant and The Division Heartlands as those are destined to be commercial failures. Another monumental embarrassment for Ubisoft.

  18. Embarrassing really - if they didn't have 3 years allegendly invested in this, it probably would've been cancelled on the quiet. Ghost Recon Frontline beta test delayed one day before it was set to start | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Ubisoft didn't say why testing has been pushed back, but strong negative reaction to the game could be a reason.
