  1. Been playing this last few days and it's a great game! A light RPG adventure game set in Norway with all the busywork cut out. It's basically a watered down Skyrim with hints of Hertic and made by just one person. Combat is a bit janky but great fun and there are some really good enemies done well like spiders. Kinda feels like an linear open world game with a classic 90's feel. Great soundtrack and only a tenner too!

  2. wow it looks beautiful too with nice atmosphere, how's the story, is it good or at least average?

  3. I'm really hoping this one is good. The fact they have Peter Weller reprising his role is a good sign. Let's hope the game lives up to the hype. Fingers crossed.

    Hi.

Thanks, man. Thanks, man and yeah, I understand. It’s good to know what others are into. The last single player game I completed was The 3D All Stars version of Mario 64 for Switch, I beat the game and also obtained 100% completion in that game last month

  6. At E3, being given unrestricted access to this game it was probably one of my most looking forward to games ever. But that was in 2018, who knows if it's even the same game as before. I don't care personally about fighting on deck, as I was looking to this like a world of warships/ black flag.

No I haven't tbh! I'm looking to get some of the Mickey Mouse games in chronological order at some point. I really need to get back into Kingdom Hearts too.

  10. Gameplay trailer revealed yesterday Looking at it, I couldn't get a huge feel for how it will look and play. We don't know how the gunplay will 100% feel until we see a more detailed gameplay and UI/HUD. The story parts is looking good so far, and the voiceover for Robocop is quality. Still probably a bit to go until we can see if we're looking forward to a must-buy me thinks.

  11. I was supposed to post this a while back as it got me giddy excited as Robocop was one of kind of fictional heroes (because of the original film and the Amstrad CPC 464 game). If they get his HUD working in the way like the movies, I'd like to think its a must buy for me. Its also based on the original movies 35 years ago which definitely helps as the newer version just didn't hit me the way the old one does. Anyway, trailer for starters with some concept art. Still a way to go to wait for this one as it states 2023.

    Guitar Robot

So yeah basically this guy has built a guitar that plays itself with midi programs and self programmed to perform. Very facisinating machinery with lot's of wires and moving parts, kinda cool to be honest.

My little brother used to own one of these Badboys for the Mega drive back in the day. The Mega Drive Power Arcade Joystick. This thing was a beast!

    Skull and Bones

I saw bits of the 'gameplay' (lol) event and the game looks even less ambitious than the already generic as fuck Assassin Creed games. There's no fighting during boarding which defies conceptual belief! They've basically taken Black Flag and stripped 90% of the game. Sea of Thieves had many issues at launch but even that had basic features you'd expect and eventually flourished into a pretty well-rounded experience. This is barebones by even Ubisoft's already shitty standards. Complete waste of time and another pile of shit incoming from the company that is making XDefiant, Ghost Recon BR and The Division Heartlands. Even a decade ago, Ubisoft showed way more originality and ambition with their games. This is another dreadful showing.

    Hi.

Welcome to FG Brett! Nice to see a little intro there, we really do try and get to know each other where possible because as you've probably seen, its an awesome place for all of us to share info and opinions and then get our asses online and have some lolz together. Playstation is in our sweet spot too so thats great news. Hopefully when you can get your PS Plus again, you could look at our FG Fridays, usually playing an accessible game you will own....even Fall Guys is free these days so always a top laugh when we get the numbers online for a large private party. What was the last single player game you completed? I struggle like hell playing single player, but thats only cos i love this annoying bunch of twonks online 😅 Looking forward to seeing you around FG more! Enjoy your stay!! 😎❤️

    Hi.

Definitely man, online usually is a lot of fun. Don't get me wrong some single player games are amazing and immersive and captivating. Is more confusing with the different tiers of PlayStation Plus, extra and premium these days. There is a useful topic on this site explaining the differences. All the free monthly games are great to buildup and add to your library.

  25. How does it relate to the film? I.e. is the book better, does the film miss much out? I plan to read through The Scion of Shannara this coming week ^_^ Big fan of the series and just realised to day I have the druid of shannara signed by the author! I'm quite the fan of sci-fi and fantasy material

Oh damn I forgot about Desert and Jungle Strike, even the 3rd one Urban Strike. I think because I never owned them, but I played and swapped them with a mate and they were sooooo good! Aladdin was superb as well. Back to the future was impossible, could barely get past the 2nd level. Remember staying at a friends and we struggled with it for the best part of a night.

  32. Nice tune👊 Yeah, a dub version is pretty much a remix of a A side in the old days. Producers would normally drop elements of the song in an out of the mix. I'm a big fan, King Tubby was one of the original guys for that along with Lee Perry. They also play around with frequencies. Jah Shaka would often just make the bass vibrate your whole body (and he's a Spurs fan) at his dub nights. A mate of mine from school runs a reggae label and reissues old 7 and 12 inch vinyl so I'm lucky I got to know this music.

  33. @phil bottle This is good as well, sounds like "old dub" are most dubs primarily instrumentals?

  34. Yeah man, some ska punk is poorly done but this record is a classic

  35. Always loved this tune, it's definitely from the 70's and would be roots? Absolute banger tho.

  36. Some of the sub genres I'm not 100% on the terms, but I can usually tell the age of something. There is also some UK Ska that's kinda punkish as well? Maybe like The Specials and Madness etc. It has the undertones of the roots, but a different flavour. That's the wonder of music there is so much to explore! 😎 I do like the roots sounding stuff and the dub styles.

  37. Yeah man, I like to switch between ska, 70s roots and dub and 90s UK roots and dub

  40. Yeah definitely is funny, I wouldn't say I like all his stuff. His live performances the ones I've seen are as rough as a badgers arse. I personally think that is one of his best tunes and albums. What's your thoughts on Peter Tosh? Some of his solo stuff is awesome. The reggae cover of Johnny B Goode is out of this world. I hope you have heard it? 😀
