  1. @TheMuggySpud Cal, this is the one you click and that will connect you. If not, I'll switch on in a minute and see if I can invite you but I think it maybe something Matty @Misneach_ has to do if you can't do this. I know the link works as it worked for a number already, including my daughter.πŸ‘

  3. Great topic!!! I still have a stack of these, I'm gonna get them out, take a pic, and show it to you guys on another post (sorry I can't at the moment since it's in a separate part of the house). EGM was my absolute favorite from back in the day. I used to read strategies of games and pretend I was playing it by getting absorbed in the screenshots hehe.

  5. Anyone remember these good old days? I used to have quite a collection of multi-platform magazines but ridded most a while back as I couldn't hoard them all my life! Crazy that our only source of info used to be paper and we had to wait a month at a time. Sadly the industry was much more reliable and honest back then! See if you recognise any of these - I've picked out a few mags/issues that I have or had back in the day. Official Nintendo Magazine issue 63 1997 - my first one and it came with this awesome pack of cards. N64 Magazine - Β£2.95 CVG - first multi-platform one I picked up and incredibly cheap at Β£1.50 GamesMaster - quite pricey at Β£2.75 but packed full of stuff PC Gamer Issue 64 Christmas 1998 - jam packed with pages and information. PCG was remarkable back then Official Playstation Magazine issue 45 May 1999 - Β£4.99 but with a disc Play - unofficial Playstation mag. Good value at Β£2.85 and usually came with a book Official Dreamcast UK Magazine - August 2000 - pricey at Β£4.99 but always came with a demo disc. I also had a couple of reader-submitted reviews published and those I have saved. Only 21 issues in total DC-UK December 2000 - unofficial but a nice alternative at Β£2.99 Official Playstation 2 Magazine issue 11 - September 2001 - Issue 1 also from December 2000 with a different design (the only one with the PS2 title) Official Xbox Magazine December 2002 with demo disc Official Xbox 360 Magazine issue 2 November 2005 Official Playstation Magazine November 2009

  6. Has anyone given this a try? Does anyone enjoy these tycoon type of games? I've always loved this genre but I know console editions are always barebone versions of the full game. I just have the urge this week to build a rollercoaster that has the potential to kill guests by the bucket load and this seems to be the only Theme Park game around these days.

  7. I have it, has all the same features as PC version. Its the best coaster sim that exists easily

  9. Same. Ever since posting here, I gave the game a few weeks and months but the game never comes up on my feed. I'm not sure if Elden Ring is just awesome and it's taking over too much or that there's really nothing to talk about this one. πŸ˜• Haha good guess. Hope it comes over to Game Pass, too. πŸ˜„

    Elden Ring

Jumping adds so much to combat. At least I find it does. Everything about Elden Ring just seems so much more polished compared to other From Software games.

How different are people finding Elden Ring to Bloodborne in terms of mechanics?

  14. Finally watched No time to die, thought as it was on Amazon I'd sit through it, wish I hadn't bothered. The Daniel Craig era to me has been awful but this was one film too far, not only a bad Daniel Craig film a bad film fullstop, one of the worst ever. The film is way too long, nothing much happens and Freddie Mercury is possibly the worst bond baddie of all time. Thank fuck they killed bond, if things don't improve moving forward then they may as well let the franchise die than churn out shit like this.

Well, Australia wasn't the big exciting race I initially hoped but it did bring the championship closer together once again. Did not expect Verstappen to retire at all, even though it wouldn't have made a difference to the race winner as Leclerc was on another level in that Ferrari. Russell took the advantage of the safety car over Hamilton to grab his first podium and considering Merc are well off the top pace, they have maximised the points they probably could get and some. Mental to think they are second in the constructors with such a slow car compared to the top 3/4 teams. And whilst it was more of a quieter race for Mclaren, it was great to see them get some solid points with 6th and 7th. This next few weeks hopefully will give a bit of time to some upgrades for the pack to bunch up some more. Here's hoping Haas don't fade away too quickly either!! Next up is the first Italian race (Imola) and I can't see Ferrari not having the pace. I think the only thing that could happen is some mindgames to put Leclerc off or add too much pressure at one of their home GPs. Its a much better start to the season that I expected for sure.

I cannot wait for this one. I just hope and pray it doesn't have all the bullshit that 3 had on launch. *Fingers Crossed*

This. The cars are too technically advanced for the circuit and, with minimal overtaking, IMO it’s boring

  20. It's very early in the game, once you get the mission to steal the shard, do that and its conclusion involves meeting Keanu for the first time, without giving too much away. If you've not tried the ps5 upgrade, you're missing a treat πŸ‘

  21. No and not really interested tbh. Nothing shouting out saying 'Buy Me' tbh. Wouldn't be surprised if it did come out as a PS plus game as its FF on Playstation.

  22. I watched about an hour of next gen gameplay last night and I just cannot get over how barren the city is now with a huge lack of cars and pedestrians compared to release even on the new consoles. It's not quite as bad as 1.4 on the old gen where you'd be lucky to see more than 3 cars and 5 people at any given time but it feels like a very bland environment in what is already a city lacking dynamics. A lot of textures have also been downscaled which is really noticeable. I haven't played since the launch on PC but I have followed each big update and it's like they keep chopping away at things that add to the immersion and it really hurts the output. The game does appear cleaner though and all those small fixes have given it a more polished experience but there is still NPC's colliding, cars on rails and the UI is still pretty ghastly. I didn't get to see much in terms of the AI and if there were any improvements there but a lot of work was needed in this regard rather than just planting a few enemies sporadically through the map who respawn every day. I'll definitely keep my eye on this but I can't see myself ever venturing back.
