I've been doing statistical analysis of assessment task item performance this week, facility values, discrimination index, standard deviation, all that bollocks and I'm all Excel'd out...but will have a look over in the morning if that's any help.

So I mentioned this in the whatsapp group that I was going to post it here after the season is over. However I thought it was a good idea to post it now as statistical analysis is not something I've done so there might be (probably is) a better way to analyse everyone's performance. So what's included now is; 'Finishing positions' - pretty self explanatory though worth noting that the dates at the top are mostly when I made the race results images rather than the actual date of the race. It was mostly just for me to keep track as I went through them all but it does ensure the races are in order. 'Weight positions' - I realised that, for example, a 5th place when there's only 5 finishes is last place however finishing 5th in a race of 10 is a midpack finish. Therefore finishing 5th of 10 should rank you better than finishing 5th of 5. So to factor this is, all I've done is divide the position we all finished by the total number of finishers. 5th of 5 then gives you a weighted position of 1 whereas 5th of 1o gives 0.5. 'Rankings' - This simply sums up the total weighted positions and divides by the total races finished to work out everyone's average. It's the weighted positions and then averaging them that I'm not so sure on so if anyone can think of or knows a better way to do this then happy to change it. I've also left the average in over all the races though I think we should only take an average of the last 10-20 races as this should give a better representation of how things stand now. Obviously for those who haven't been around a lot and don't have 10-20 races total we'll just have to average however many they've done. To think that St Johntone will likely be in Europe next year and Arsenal wont😂 Absolutely shocking performance from Arsenal especially with this being a semi final. Will likely miss out on Europe for the first time in 25 years and could even finish in the lower half of the table. Roma in contrast needed 4 goals minimum and they put up an unreal fight even after shipping away goals. Their desire right up to the last minute was commendable against United. Arsenal had no fight even going into the final 10 minutes and it's clear Arteta is way out of his depth at this level just like Lampard. To think Arsenal fans wanted rid of Emery and this is after they wanted Wenger offed for relentless top 4 finishes! Safe to say both clubs will be seeking new managers in the summer. Spurs need a refresh particularly in defence and Arsenal may struggle with contracts and bringing big names in now not being in Europe plus their FFP rating will now nosedive so they wont be able to splash the cash.

I watched the 2nd half of the Arsenal game, with AFTV on my phone, expecting some fireworks. They only had to score one goal, at home. Taking off their best striker was not appreciated by their fans and if Arteta keeps his job that will be interesting. Spurs are still managerless but Ryan has been doing okay so far, last few games to try for 4th place but I doubt it.

It wasn't fuel that fucked me, or Greebs embrace in the first lap. Tyre choice. Qualification was shit as I didn't manage to do a single lap without crashing off, not always under my own steam😁 But I had a great start and was running in 2nd holding everyone off until the corkscrew moment of bliss which left me and Greebs running in last. I decided at that point it was going to have to be a non stop race if I was going to have any chance if getting a position. Put my power down to 4 and concentrated on putting in steady, if slower, laps. Worked a treat. When everyone ahead pitted I found myself 3rd with 3 laps to go and about 7 seconds ahead of Crispy and James. But it was the super softs that were my undoing. I was still about a second and a half ahead on the last lap but the tyres gave up on the corner before the uphill and it was all over, both @Lurch and @crispymorgan passed me soon after. Crispy fucked himself up breaking late on the very last corner so I managed to salvage my 4th place. @Mikepjbell hated this race, which pleases me no end😅 @slamminbones didn't have much time to practice but we had a good battle at BlueMoon in the 2nd race . Great qualy and drive by James who will be major competition next season. Shout out to @Macca89 and apologies as I know I misjudged your braking at one point and nudged you off, but you're definitely getting better each week👏
