Absolutely gutted my kids decided to make the wife go on a WW3 campaign last night 2 laps in to the first race. Looked forward to this racing all week too as we'd rallied the troops and had 9 on the grid whilst I felt reasonably quick enough too - and even started the first race well to be second initially, albeit before I got slammed into a barrier, brought to a full stop, and given a penalty for a barrier collision. This game is hilarious. Still, I was trying to carry on and pick up the pieces and made it back to around 6th quickly before carnage ended proceedings. Sorry for missing out but I hope the races were just as fun as usual. Shame about James @Lurch pressing exit on the race just before it started by accident and @Macca89 believing Kiwi's joke about putting on Intermediate tyres in the sunshine ffs 🤦‍♂️ I'm thinking for next week we double check everyone is good and ready and for the less experienced, double check nice and early they know how to change tyres and know where the pits are 👍 I want to make sure everyone has as much as they can out of these nights and easy simple mistakes outside of the racing can impact that ❤️

I bought the PS4 version for my PS5 and it did not go well Some major rendering issues which not only look shite but also further impacted the gameplay. Thankfully I managed to pull off a miracle:- Very disappointing outcome but I didn't buy a PS5 to play games that look like a PS2 version at times. Really not sure why this occurred especially when the PS4 version appears fine Anyhow, delighted I managed to get a refund from Sony and I'll put my money into something else. Shame as I was looking forward to playing this over Easter but I really can't be bothered in dealing with issues like this.

Thats awesome. Worth maybe a little extra pain to know how to properly defend yourself in the wild!

4/7/2021 Workout 15 to 3 Ladder, descending by 3 24" Box Jumps Knee-Ups (scaled Toes-to-Bar) 3 minute rest, then go back up the ladder. Thoughts: I love box jumps. I love it especially when I'm not jumping on plates. I hate jumping on plates. I'm always concerned about the top plate moving, so I end up going slower. But, give me a proper box? Heck yes! I can bang out reps fairly quickly. The knee-ups was the more difficult thing because grip strength. My hands started to hurt when I got to the 6-rep... so holding on long enough to finish sets was difficult. I enjoyed this workout and yesterday's. Classic HIIT. Rest days are tomorrow and Friday. Maybe I'll post about my walks/hikes with Carl. We'll see.

Yeah I had no idea about that. It's a shame, I'm going to hold judgement until I can play it though. I was a NMS guy back in 2016 when the world was shitting on Hello Games. Then he shut everyone up and fix the game, made it better, and now we have a great space building game. Although the game may not suit everyone's playing style (to be expected) you can't argue that they made an amazing comeback all for FREE. I have to hope this dude can make this game in the same vein. It just looks so neat.

They mentioned on a previous TWAB that Team Dino won! But hopefully they said they'll use the Monster armour in a future release. They were always looking to do that imo!

This is so cool that its in the game!! Well done for finding it mate! We'll have to take a trip to see it as it would be awesome to have some fires in the middle of it. Do you now use just obsidian arrows for the Fulings? They are a bloody nightmare when they hit you. Harder than I realised! Yeah, i'm not too bothered about tons of Wolves going. Its more about the frames they were impacting in that area. It was insane how many Wolves we had. They'll still keep breeding so every so often people should just take some on an exploration trip. Great back up for Fulings btw, not for Lox though 😄 Awesome to see someone has worked it out but I wouldn't play this in VR. Its beautiful in the way it is and I'd rather see extra tools, upgrades and things to create in the game than these modes.

The gaming industry has been barren compared to what I grew up with, but there are a few things I'm interested in: April Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 (I'll finish my last 3 playthroughs of Nier Automata for all the endings before I start this) May Mass Effect Legendary Edition (this is a cash grab... I don't care. I wasn't in the group that played the trilogy when it first came out, so I experienced it after the fixes... Garrus/Shepard will forever break my heart in the way that FFVI did) June Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (I mean.. Yuffie... duh) Legend of Mana (I missed this the first time... my Switch gives me a reason to pick it up now) August Humankind - FFS... this was pushed out to August? But, I can't wait to sink hours and weeks into this. I'm still looking for the actual release date on Horizon Forbidden West. Because that's what I really want... along with Humankind.

Not a lot really but if STALKER 2 is released and is decent then I'll look at that. There are a few interesting Warhammer universe games due out and I'll be watching if any of them come good. I'll have a think in case anything else comes to mind.

Ordered a new controller today. Gonna start calling you my 'Momentum Mate'. Prick. 🤣🤣❤️ Tbh, I loved playing the games and for 90-95% of each match I was reasonably happy with. Frustratingly i'm just paying for the cost of not playing FIFA for over 15 years. Macca's both games were extremely tight, although first game I literally defended for 90 minutes and only lost 1-0. A last minute corner couldn't be forced in but my 2nd game with Macca later on in the evening, I ended up 2-0 up with 20 minutes gone and felt largely on top for a sudden change. I knew he'd get back into the game but was hoping to hold on for 60 minutes...but with 15-20 mins to go i was back at 2-2, only for a winner to go in on the last 10 minutes which I was certainly gutted about. The 4th only hit the night on the final whistle as I was just trying to find quick passes and sliding everywhere to get the ball back. Jordies and James' games were decent games for majority of it. And then just lost concentration over little shitty FIFA moments which ultimately meant i got punished. A few late goals in both games ruined what were a little bit closer results albeit I was comfortable that I lost the games fair and square. I really shouldn't have lost to Ant and Martin in our 2nd game though. I felt like I did enough in both games to easily get 3 points, forget the draw but thats where the Spanish inquisition i'll call it came marching in and buttfucked me. A pen one way that wasn't and a few pens my way that weren't was part of Ant's game, plagued by Spanish defenders incapable of holding off strikers who were behind the ball. And as Mart says above, the last 10 minutes were the most I felt violated in my life on FIFA 🤣 Thing is, whilst I got one 1 win out 7, it still was fun and we had great laughs throughout so I really hope people see what this can bring and we can crack on through it as we can do mini knockout tournaments along the way and after this has been completed if we keep enjoying it. Now time to write my letter of complaint to FIFA and the Spanish manager for picking utter shite players rather than all the good ones in the game 😁

If I may offer a challenge...1955 Merc 300SL Gullwing. Seeing that one last night with the doors open in the show room makes the bits tingly. I think it would be a good challenge to model it with the doors open and give a go to the partial interior as well!!! Mercedes Silver on red leather or no dice...love the work here, great job.

Really enjoyed getting my campaign underway last night guys, I think this is going to be really fun! Thought I'd do a little write up of my first few games as the Flying Dutchmen in Orange! First up was a baptism of fire against the mighty Scotland (well, they're not really mighty, it's just that @Macca89 was controlling them 😆) Within the first 20 minutes I can see why Macca is so awesome at this game! He even threw his star player (and LEFT BACK!) Andy Robertson up front for good measure. The Oranje managed to stand firm for about 20 mins but then the Scots broke through with a lovely goal where McTominay (his only other good player!) flicked one up over Van Dijks head and volleyed it in. Then a second goal followed shortly after, some more lovely build up produced a chance just inside the box which was buried although I was a bit disappointed in my keeper. 2-0 at half time and Scotland probably had 70-30 possession (I warn anyone playing against Macca..... prepare to defend folks he has the ball a lot!!) In the second half Holland started to come back into the game a bit, probably because Scotland's 72 rated centre halves with 58 stamina were getting knackered by then! A rare chance was taken after Depay found some space down the left and cut in to make it 2-1. Then in the 90th, a Rodman like header from De Ligt from a near post corner clutched a point out of nowhere. (Macca probably had an 8 game accumulator riding on it staying 2-1, but it inevitably got let down 🤣). FT 2-2 Then for my second game the Netherlands met the not-so-long-ago formidable Spain, and my best bud @GazzaGarratt. For me this brought back memories of 1998 (some of you probably were in nappies or not even born 😩) when Lee and I were just 14 years old playing International Superstar Soccer on the PS1 every weekend, where we both really wanted to beat each other but we would never once let it wreck our great friendship ❤️ The game was a very cagey affair, lots of good defending going on and not too many clear cut chances. Lee had Thiago (who he claims is shite but was pulling some strings!) dictating the midfield but Spain lacked much threat up front with Morata their main striker(remember him Chelsea fans? No thought not) It remained 0-0 till mid way through the second half when Rodrigo (who apparently in the previous game was as weak as piss and couldn't out muscle anyone) ran on to a threw ball and brushed off Van Dijk like he was a rag doll to bury it and give Spain the lead. And that's how it finished, and the memories of 14 year old Martin running off home crying into his pillow saying "that fucking prick beat me again mum argghhh!" all came flooding back. FT 0-1 Then in my third game I played against the absolute beasts that are France, and serial penalty conceeder @Antpool84 😉 For god knows what reason, maybe I'd had 2 games with Holland now and I was a bit more used to their play style, I managed to race into a 4-0 lead by half time (no penalties though!), although this was a bit unfair and not a true reflection of the game. I managed to score a couple of nice goals, a cheeky chip over their weakest link Hugo Lloris being my favourite. In the second half, Ant came out all guns blazing and used his blistering pace of Mbappe, Coman and Griezmann against my cart horse centre back De Ligt! France will cause anyone problems with that pace I am sure. Ant then scored the goal of the game with Pogba, a powerful drive into the bottom corner from about 25 yards out. Another goal followed shortly after to make it 4-2 and it was really game on! With about 10 mins to go, after getting in behind with the pace yet again, a bit of shit housery was necessary from De Ligt who hacked the striker down right on the edge of the box and got a deserved red card. However the resulting free kick came to nothing. FT 4-2, a good entertaining game. It was then round 2 against Maccas Scotland, where I was hoping the home advantage of the Johan Cryuff arena might help me, but nope! To say I got bum raped in the first 20 mins of the return leg would be an understatement, just ask Lee he was watching on screen share! The Netherlands couldn't even get out of their own third with Scotland pressing really high up the pitch (I shouldn't have taken short goal kicks really 😬) and after some heavy pressure the keeper made a mistake and cleared the ball straight into a Scotland strikers path and he put it into the empty net for 1-0. It could have been 2 or 3 by half time but I managed to hang in there. The start of the 2nd half was a similar story with Ryan Fraser (their secret weapon, Macca says he's shite but don't believe him!) having a couple of chances but Netherlands still managed to stay in it. Just like in the first game, the stamina of the Wijnaldums and Bergwijns of this world started to show against the Scottish pub league defenders mid way through the second half, and Netherlands came back into the game. With a bit more time on the ball they played some better football and had a bit of possession, and an equaliser came. Netherlands then brought on their own secret weapon (thanks to the old R2 auto sub) and on came 6 foot 3 Luke De Jong to try and exploit the tiring Scotland defence. Lo and behold in the 88th minute a lofted cross into the box saw the super sub power in a header against the League 1 - 73 rated Wigan GK (I think?) David Marshall. Unbelievably the Netherlands held out to clutch the win and inflict the first defeat on pre tourney favorites Scotland. FT 2-1 Finally, before bed time, it was time for Spain VS Netherlands again (or as I am calling it "Lee VS Mart Round 2 this time it's personal"). Just like our infamous battles on championship manager 98/99 season, it was a highly intense affair! Similar to the first game really there weren't too many chances, but it was end to end and more like a basketball game! 0-0 at half time. but early in the second half Spain broke the deadlock after a lovely 40 yard driven through ball from the LB found that fast prick Rodrigo again who banged it into the top corner. Netherlands were shitting themselves at this point (I couldn't lose AGAIN to my great mate he beats me at everything except Mario Kart on SNES!), and lets be totally honest I had to rely on what seemed like a bit of FIFA script to get back into the game. Depay tried a little dribble on the edge of the box to make space for a shot but Ramos did a perfectly timed standing tackle.......however the ball bounced back off a couple of shins and fell perfectly into the strikers path and he finished it to make it 1-1. It looked like that was going to be that, but then with 10 mins to go Spain were really unlucky when a shot twatted back off the inside of post and fell to the defender. For the final 10 mins once again some dodgy FIFA momentum seemed to be sucking the ball towards De Geas goal, and the winner came when a shot was saved and the ball popped up to Wijnaldum who headed it home (you know one of them shitty rebound goals where you wanna throw your controller out the window, but I know Lee wouldn't do that cuz like our said we have a great friendship 🥰) FT 2-1 Look forward to playing some more games soon guys.

Oh, forgot to mention: @TurboR56Mini asked if I was smart enough to resist "poking" at the Fuling Bersekers. Hahaha. No. I mean.. I have a shiny new bow. Why wouldn't I use it to snipe at giant, angry monsters? Took me about 7 direct shots to kill one... but, not bad! 2 - 3 direct shots for the regular ones if I'm not doing it from far distance. (Distance shots = 1 shot kills) Also, I think there are about 100 less wolves in the Conorheim village. @crispymorgan took some on an expedition, but they promptly abandoned him once they saw... basically anything. Also, the wild Lox killed a bunch of them. Then @GazzaGarratt took a whole bunch somewhere too lol. We now have a bunch of wolf pelts. @Tar-Eruntalion , @TurboR56Mini , and myself also left a handful of them at the top of the mountain where we were mining silver. The spreading of wolves reminds me of Tribbles from Star Trek.. how do you make them stop.... besides starving them? However, there are still a bunch of tame wolves outside the village... leaving a glittering treasure trail of their destruction.

Green Hell is what it says on the tin. It's green and it is hell. I call it the 'die a millions ways' simulator. It's a great little game but it is quite stressful if you want to avoid dying or going mad 🙂 I like the look of Icarus but I'll be waiting to see if it's a full game or early access. If they're still working on it then I'll avoid it, as Dean has form for leaving projects unfinished.

Not sure about Icarus - game is made by Dean Hall and he's about as reliable as a promise from a serial bullshitter.

Good times today in Valheim! Got some silver. Made a new bow that glows (and makes all arrows have poison effect, I think). I can take a Fuling down in 2 - 3 shots. Mine a bunch of silver. Made myself a silver shield. Got some chains while getting my guck. Made my chest piece. (I like the lox on our server.. so I'll just continue using my local save file to get my lox stuff. Lox cape soon!) Also.. found Stonehenge? It has a bunch of Fuling Berserkers in it. (This was all after everyone logged off... because I passed out earlier from allergy hangover and probably lack of food.) I like my glowy bow.

All runned out now but I could be out for another this evening. Went out with my wife and father inlaw for our clubs park run was supposed to be only 5k but I'm not complaining as I love running then a little rest then off I went on my own. Going to see how the day goes as I might end up out again tonight.

Funny, but sad. I mean if it leads to invisibility it's a horrible experience. I mean even if Warzone was running smoothly with no glitches and perfect balancing throughout, I still wouldn't play it. It's just not for me, I feel sorry for the folks that Warzone is their primary experience or outlet of gaming in COD. There is just so much wrong with the franchise. I get terrible times playing MP Cold War with heavy SBMM and lag sometimes, but it's nothing compared to the shit that goes on in Warzone. Atrorious really with the amount of money and income the game churns. It's a perpetual experience of forever failure. It's almost impossible for Warzone to be in a good place.

Yeah multi is a must imo, however in Warzone im pretty sure 99% of players just run stuns or heartbeat sensor. Seems a bit of an easy solution really, however this is COD so common sense usually doesnt prevail...

Premium Edition is currently 40% off on the PlayStation Store which is a great deal! I will likely grab that as it as all the season passes included and other stuff. Game also has full modding support also which is superb!

I haven't run much for quite some time so went out after work with my wife and father inlaw and after 1km I decided to run a different route just so I can open up on my pace a little(you can see that on my pace sections on strava)but the temperature when I set of was 20 degrees which was a little harsh on dehydration but slowed down for 2km then picked up the pace a little for the last 2km. For those of you who loved Syphon Filter from back in the day, I suggest picking up Days Gone. You know what, just pick up Days Gone in general if you like RPGs/single player games. It was oddly very satisfying for me. One of the few games that actually made me feel vulnerable in the terribleness of that world. Story is... eh... But I really really enjoyed it. Especially taking out Hordes.

3/31/2021 Workout Boxing Thoughts: Cardio week instead of rest week, I guess lol. For those of you who don't know, I don't box with gloves. I box with only wraps. There is a minimal amount of cushion on my knuckles. Why? Because if you get into a fight on the street, no one is waiting for you to get gloves on. Wraps gives me just enough protection to get through a session. When I used to train in the Philippines, there were times where we went bare knuckle to develop the knuckle calluses. Yes, I had many days of bloody knuckles. Yes, my trainer in the Philippines would have me do bag work on a canvas bag and bare knuckles. Yes, he waited until the end to "clean" my ripped skin with a spray bottle of alcohol then bandaged my hands. Today was decent. I like days where we focus a lot on technique and less on random (to me) exercises. A bunch of ladder work for footwork and movement. He made me wear 5lb ankle weights the whole session because he forgot I had them on, to which I responded to him with, "I'm fat enough... and you want me to add more weight?". I already know my muscles will be sore later. Food wise... I've been pretty decent on my food this month. Nothing outrageously out of bounds or excessive that was not in my overall food plan. I have added whey to my morning shakes on the mornings I work out. It has definitely stopped the soreness that was happening on the second day. So yay. However, I have also been stuck on the scale in terms of weight. I shouldn't fret, but of course, I am. Because I want the number to go down. I want to see progress on that damn scale. Because it's the only way I can actually notice progress. I will never see if I look less fat. I will never notice it when I look in the mirror. I could be down 4 sizes in women's clothes and still not see it. I could fit into my white pants that I haven't worn in 10 years (when I didn't work out) and still not see it. Anyway... overall, I am making the progress that matters. I'll focus a bit more on cardio, so I don't die when doing Murph sometime this year lol.

I'm not a fan of DC movies lately.. the Dark Knight trilogy was fantastic.. but seems anything after that was... I dunno. I guess I just want it all to be on the same page like how MCU is doing it. That said, the next Suicide Squad might make me actually want to watch the first one. This looks like so much fun. Because the actor who plays Polka Dot man is just... disturbingly hilarious.
