  3. The problem with Lloris is we dont have the money to replace him yet really. I think he'll go to PSG this Summer, but as hes 34 now and in the last year of his contract iirc, we'd be lucky to get around £10m for him. Then we're linked with Pope & Henderson who would both probably cost £40m-£50m As Poch said, we need a painful rebuild. Unfortunately, Levy didn't take notice and now we're in need of a clear out and rebuild... during a pandemic with the worst economic situation faced in football arguably ever 🙃

Welcome aboad matey. I love that you used Ahoy, it's so underutilized these days. There are a few folk here on PC. Slowly over time as people get older and have more money or space available, it becomes a thing to build or buy a decent PC for gaming. I have neither money or space, so I'm on PS4 which is all good. Nice that you found it to "The Forum" The place to discuss many different topics with some interesting people. I'm sure you will enjoy it here and fit in perfectly fine!

    F1 2021

Formula 1 in 2021 is the year that shouldn't have happened, this was supposed to be the first year of the new regulations but due to the pandemic, it was decided to carry over last years cars with a few changes. The 2 most note worthy changes are the introduction of the cost cap in an attempt to stop the big teams out spending and out developing the independents. The second, is a restriction on the size and shape of the floor - this has been introduced in an to reduce some of the cars downforce, estimated to be about 10%, in an attempt to have the tyres last as some failures last year were due to excessive loading. 2021 Calendar 28 March – Bahrain (Sakhir) 18 April - Italy (Imola*) 2 May - Portugal (Algarve) 9 May – Spain (Barcelona) 23 May – Monaco (Monaco) 6 June – Azerbaijan (Baku) 13 June – Canada (Montreal) 27 June – France (Le Castellet) 4 July – Austria (Spielberg) 18 July – United Kingdom (Silverstone) 1 August – Hungary (Budapest) 29 August – Belgium (Spa) 5 September – Netherlands (Zandvoort) 12 September – Italy (Monza) 26 September – Russia (Sochi) 3 October – Singapore (Singapore) 10 October – Japan (Suzuka) 24 October – USA (Austin) 31 October – Mexico (Mexico City) 7 November – Brazil (Sao Paulo) 21 November - Australia (Melbourne) 5 December - Saudi Arabia (Jeddah) 12 December - Abu Dhabi (Yas Island) So 2021, can Hamilton break further records and become an 8 times champion? Can Mercedes win an 8th constructors championship in a row? Pre-season testing looked a bit shaky for Mercedes, is this the year Red Bull finally challenge? How will Perez cope at Red Bull; will he be a good second driver for them? How good, and reliable, are the Honda engine upgrades? Will Ferrari recover any pace after their dismal year in 2020? How will Sainz cope with the pressure and how will he rank against LeClerc? Will Vettel now out of Ferrari and in to an Aston Martin regain his mojo? Will McLaren manage 3rd in the constructors again? Is Ricciardo and Norris going to be one of the best driver pairing in years? The Schumacher name returns to F1 but how will he fare in the Haas? Will Haas or Williams score any points this year? So many questions and 23 races to find out the answers.

  9. All I can say as of now is that I love all the MCU conentbas of recent. There are always things to criticize (I can’t believe how much traction the whole paying the Avengers thing got) but it’s something entertaining to watch and they always put a lot into the thought of plot lines and production. I was stoked that it was a bit more action packed as I expected. I specifically like the bot how Bucky has to go through a step program and make reconciliation with those of this past. This should turn out well.

  10. Haha I don't think I'll do full in depth episode reviews like Wanda, but I will put a few thoughts per episode, and will do a full review when it finishes SPOILERS BELOW !!!!! I actually thought the episode was much more somber and darker than I expected and the trailers portrayed it to be, which is a good thing. The character building was great for both the leads, this was much needed for them both. The part with the Asian guys son was very dark and well done. Action looked amazing as well, film quality. The new cap or USAgent will be interesting to see where he fits into the story. I feel like it will go one of 2 ways: They will either establish him with powers, and give him a episode almost dedicated to him and will be an integral part of what happens going forward, or he will just be a government actor or 'stooge' that doesn't have a huge role to play except a plot device (similar to The Mandarin in Iron Man 3). I would prefer the first option, as it would be cool to explore his comic book origins, as he isn't really a villain, more of a Punisher type antihero character But if we get solid character building episode, with fantastic action scenes in between I will be happy. That and I hope they bring Zemo in and he's amazing again like Civil War. I want him to be the main villain pulling all the strings and hope he's in it more than the trailers make out The only dumb part was Falcon having no money. I like that they were trying to make him a more 'every day' character to relate to, but I find it hard to believe that Stark didn't set up kind of Avengers fund. Or even if he didn't, surely he could contact Pepper Potts and say 'Hey, it's me, y'know Falcon the Avenger and one of the guys that helped save the universe, give me some money please?" since she is the head of Stark Industries and a billionaire. Plus he was a high ranking military officer and was probably paid well. Anyway I digress

  12. I think most people know who it is at the end....clearly it's Mephisto 😆 While it's Marvel so I had faith in it, the trailer did make it look a bit generic action so the first episode surprised me. Without saying too much, it was good to see Bucky on a redemption arc and you've got to give him credit for his method of apologising for his actions as the Winter Soldier. It's also good to see more detail on how the blip effected normal people and the wider world through Falcon's interaction with his sister. A solid opening episode and I'm looking forward to the next.

    F1 2021

Race 1/23 Bahrain - Sakhir When was the track built? Ground was broken for the Bahrain International Circuit in December 2002. Like the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, the developers had a blank, sandy canvas to work with, and with that fashioned the technical, 5.4km track designed by Hermann Tilke. When was its first Grand Prix? It was 2004 when the drivers first lined up under an unusually cloudy sky for the inaugural Bahrain Grand Prix. The race was dominated (like many in 2004) by the two Ferraris, with Michael Schumacher winning out from Rubens Barrichello, while the crowds were also treated to a fantastic dog-fight between the Jaguar of Mark Webber and the Renault of Fernando Alonso. What’s the circuit like? You can usually expect great racing and decent amounts of overtaking in Bahrain, while the drivers have to contend with wind, racing under floodlights and the difficulty of finding a decent set-up with the wide temperature fluctuations between sessions. The track’s most challenging point is the tight, downhill, off-camber Turn 10 left-hander, while the fast run through Turn 12 is another highlight, allowing the racers to really feel their cars coming alive.

  16. I remember back before Xbox One was released I was invited to a play test and feedback session. What struck me when I was at their offices is how focused they were on video sharing and I always thought they'd be more likely to go for Twitch. With this, haven't read the article but I suppose its about access to all those potential new customers.

  24. A few months in and I'm still waiting for the information about the internal hard drive situation. I don't see the AAA main PS5 titles getting any smaller of late and I think we need a solution soon. I'm sure i read about some patent for some extended storage somewhere but not even sure it is by Sony? Other than that, I'm starting to get accustomed to the loading times so much that it feels weird now waiting like we do on the original PS4 loading times.

    Horse Racing

Periodically I really get into horse racing , esp if I’m not too busy, as Finding the time to study the form is tough . Look forward to all the big race meetings although I’m more into flat than jumps. Go to the derby every year (Covid permitting ) , just love Epsom on derby day , probably my favourite day of the year . Statt of the flat season in a couple of weeks I always find super interesting , all the hype and the classic trials. Watched a load of Cheltenham as well (as I’m WFH ) but not much luck ! Think I backed that lady jockey every time she didn’t win !

  26. Astros Playroom is a fun little game to show what the controller can do, unfortunately there's not a lot of games incorporating any of it yet. Demons Souls is great, particularly the 60 fps which I hadn't experienced before enjoy!
