  2. I know short answers might be 'I'm not!' but I'm keen to know what people are doing. I'm struggling alot to find motivation so I'd love to take some inspiration from all of you and get some tips to get my arse out of this sofa! I've been trying to get out in the garden and play a little football game once or twice with my daughter which isnt much but it breaks the day up. Also, done some Yoga Cosmic Kids video with them which was fun...and made me realise I'm not as flexible as I once was 🤣 Let's hear what you've done!

  3. Hey all, there are still some familiar names on here, so decided to set up a new account. How is everyone doing? Don't get much chance to get on the PS4 these days, but when I do I'm still playing BFV for my sins! Played the MW beta when it was out, but didn't buy it. The ol' virus is putting pay to work life in the office as of today, so working from home for at least a couple of weeks, so thought it would be good to drop by and say HELLO. Obviously, I'll need to sharpen up on the wit and sarcasm again 😉

  5. As they closed the gym at work we needed something else so we've been getting a 2.5-3 mile walk in during our lunch break. Seems weird at 2 in the morning to get waved at and not stopped by the multitude of police that pass us nightly. I also have a bench and some weights at home that I use sporadically and I've gone back to 100 press ups a day. I've lost the motivation to go out walking at the weekend but I'll have to do it while off work next week.

  8. https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1 I’ve been doing Joe Wicks in the morning to get me back into exercise and mixing it in with some of of my old rugby training exercises. I must admit he talks a lot but it is also for kids, so if you’re an adult just push your a bit harder. Also all the money he generates from these videos goes straight to the NHS, so stick it on in the background even if you’re not exercising. If you can’t even do that then you truly are lazy. I also went on a bit of a jog yesterday but my back hasn’t been great over the years and jogging isn’t good for my back. Im determined to keep up with exercise so hopefully I can get back to my shredded self or just be a bit fitter. I think I go for a bit fitter 😄

  9. Well I've had a healthy breakfast!! Banana, Greek yoghurt and honey, after walking the dog. That's about as good it'll get today at least.

  10. I don't think there are too many older names than mine on here, maybe Plumbers Crack 🤣!! Kyle (MyM777) constantly reminded me about my elder statesman status. In reality I'm not that old (55), just growing old as disgracefully as I possibly can. Thanks all for the welcome back messages. Hope you're all staying healthy and not climbing the walls too much! I'm not even a week into working from home and going stir crazy already.

    Running / Cycling

@slamminbones that's awesome! Hit me up on Strava if you use it, I love giving out Kudos . You seem like a pretty fast runner, or someone who probably runs many miles every week, maybe even daily runner. Sometimes I struggle to get out, motivation kills me but when I do get out, I end up loving it. My best 5k is from running ParkRun in which I've only managed a 22:27. Really hoping I can bring that down to under 22 when ParkRun returns. I don't train for anything though, I just tend to go out and run. I've never entered a race but I was due to take part in my first 10k race in June or July but that's postponed to the end of the year.

  14. i took up running at the start of 2019 and set my self a goal to get a sub 22 minute for 5k took me a while as i achieved this on a club run for sports relief with a time of 21.41 before that i could get no quicker than 22.01. I've enter only a hand full of races but this year was supposed to be mostly half marathons to which i only ran one even which was the hoka one just out side swansea which was a painful one due to the fact it's mostly up hill i have got 2 others booked one another in swansea and the cardiff half. i went out which was supposed to be a short run yesterday for my so called daily exercise but it turned in to a 21k run.
