Tonight was superb. A lot of you turned up, 13 in fact so a great start to the recent FG Plans made. Some great games: Sniper Only Free-For-All Shotgun Only Free-For-All Gun Game Shipment clusterfucks Hardpoint Headquarters TDM Scorpion SMG Only And whatever else I can't remember You were being an amazing bunch of bellends and banter was everywhere. Some really can't remember rules - just hilarious when its broken cos someone wants to use an RPG instead of a Sniper or a Grenade instead of a Shotgun 😂 Hopefully some great little video clips were saved by everyone, be good to have a few laughs in the montage video from this. "If you are there always for others, then in time of need, someone will be there for you." I think this is pretty fitting for Forever Gaming. That's really down to all the wonderful people here. I can go on and on about how this year for me personally has been a hard start but I imagine, and in a lot of cases I know, that a lot of people's lives inside and outside of FG are in a far more difficult spot. You all deserve a place that's always here when you need it. You need people, not just me, that are willing to listen, care about your opinion and are here to make your lives worthwhile. We've been relatively quiet in 2019 so let's make a little noise for all those people that need a little fun and support. We've made a planner for the next few months. I hope you can see there's different bits and bobs on there for everyone. Its a start. Let's build on it together. They'll be more than just this I'm sure. One feature I wanted to just pick out is FGer Game Choice. We all love different games but we can't play them all the time. However, as we organise most nights for us to party up, its only right that we should ask treasured FGers what they think we should play for a night of fun together. This should be for new and old FGers and the only way this will work though is if we support each other and play for those few hours. It may not be much sometimes but for others it means far more than you'll ever know. I want to see more people here and in other pockets of FG. You all sometimes forget and don't even realise that y'all being around together with the tiniest nod to say 'hi' or 'nice work' is huge. I won't go on any further. Look at the pic. They'll be corresponding events, quizzes, threads, tourneys posted up in good time all over FG. Get involved. If not for yourself, but for others. GGFG

So we have an FTB Beyond server now You can access the server either with name: FGBeyond.minecraft-crafting.pro or IP: 188.165.208.54:25414 I've only finished setting it up tonight and I've logged on and it seems to be working. The server is similar specs to one I played on previously and it was alright with a small number of players so assume it will be alright for us too but it is easy enough ot upgrade if necessary. You'd probably notice some lag if you're exploring and generating new chunks but I've flown ~500 blocks in each direction from spawn so around spawn should be fine. Other Server details: Mode: Survival Difficulty: Normal Seed: -696216977807959 Seed map: LINK I went through a lot of seeds to find one with a decent selection of biomes near-ish spawn. We have most, the only ones we don't really have that close to spawn are jungle and ice but they aren't all that important really. I've also left the claimed chunk limit as 100 as I don't believe this impacts server performace but chunk loading does so I have limited the number you can chunk load to 5. It is easy to use a lot more than 5 so we'll probably need more than 5. I'd think the server could cope with more however to begin with I'd rather go low and see how the server copes as it is easy enough to increase it at a later date. It is a whitelist server so @Plumbers Crack I've added you as I know you MC username. @Spacedeck I know you posted in the ftb guide thread but I can't remember if your MC username is the same as your forum so if you can confirm I can whitelist you too. Any questions or problems, let me know. IMPORTANT INFO The Ender Storage Ender chest item transport does work on a server but we have to ensure we have different colour ones else we will get each others items. To change the colour of an Ender Storage Ender chest, I believe you can craft the chest directly with the colours. Else, make a default white white white chest and click the white strips on the top with the colour dye you want. To avoid confusion, I will list players and their colours so we don't have any conflicts; Greboth - Green / Green / Green. PlumbersCrack - White / White / White Spacedeck -

Technically the max player limit is 99 but there is no way the server would cope with the mods and that many players. It should be alright for 4-5 people on at the same time I think maybe 6-8 but I think it would start struggling at that. I’ve never run a modded server so a learning curve for me too. It’s all good mate, I’m happy to cover it for the first few months and we’ll go from there, if its worth renewing, how long for etc.

Greboth is out most if the weekend Lee but I think he’s pitched it small to start with (4-5) but with the ability to increase if demand warrants it. I quite enjoyed the Realms that @Spacedeck organised but I think I prefer the modded versions. Come aboard Spacedeck! 😊👍

Haha no, I am out all day today and most of tomorrow too so no MC for me I did squeeze in a couple hours after CoD last night so have a tinkers smeltery and access to the mining world already I just headed south from spawn and I’m in the plains biome. I think around z 700 - somewhere round there if you want to see my most excelent (read shitty) starter base I didn’t change it to keep inventory on death. I didn’t think about it but I can change the option when I’m next on. It will sometime tomorrow now though so if you go on today be careful

Yeah, as with the decrease in activity of the Realms server, I'm going to cancel that subscription. It's just renewed so it'll still be around for another month and I will use the month to set up the minigames on the server, incase anyone pops on and wants to try some before it goes. @Greboth Let me know if you want any money to pay towards it, I don't mind transferring the money I would have paid for Realms over to support the Modded server.

I always wanted to see if we could randomise the teams but equally we've seen when we've done that previously its hard to get people together more. Equally, I wasn't expecting to play all the games on one night. Once I look into the application a little more for the website I can see how much we can play with it. Gotta just try more things as a group and we'll learn for the next time. Let's hope we get lots of us around as Gambit Private Matches doesn't need anyone else to pay for it on FG. Its a game mode on Destiny 2. Mixes PvE with PvP. Its quite unique and between friends you can see how it could be a ton of fun. Cheers man. The least I can do for all the different people here.

Last night was immense fun, was great to see so many of us turn up. Looking forward to the next one already. I also need to work out how to record our voices when we’re not in party chat, we might have to start using discord.

Nice one Lee - just a an idea for the Gambit night....instead of team entries have individual entries and draw teams on the night? Mixes things up and you could potentially play with people who you wouldn't normally team up with Via the FG App
