Clash of Clans...are you interested?

I wouldn't worry, I had no clue at the start and still sort of no clue now! Its not too difficult after you find your routine. Your girlfriend is more than welcome into the clan too if she hasn't got one already i'm sure! @Plumbers Crack - shout up if there's any problems with that!2 points -
Raft Survival: Join Me!

I've been playing the newly updated Raft for the last week and i'm loving it but i feel it's missing something and that is you guys! Who fancies joining me for some survival in the ocean? New Features: - They've add bigger islands - New animals, both friendly and enemies - New equipment I got to one of the bigger islands yesterday but damn it's hard to stay alive whilst you're being attacked by loads of animals, land and sky. The game is a weird mixture of being constantly hectic, as you're always having to do stuff to stay alive and really relaxing. I've seen 9 people play on one server but i think you can have as many as you like (i'm sure there's a limit) It's currently £15, i've already sunk (excuse the pun) over 20 hours on this game. It's still early access as well, so there's plenty more for them to add.1 point -

Covered in Transmitting items in the third post and some extra detail in the Refined Storage section The simple / headline answer to how I do it is; Put an Ender Storage Ender Chest on top of the builder in the mining world (it HAS to be an Ender Storage chest not the vanilla Ender Chest) Put a second Ender Storage Chest next to your Refined Storage system Place an importer on the chest and link it in to your Refined storage A single importer probably won't be fast enough so you can put 3 speed upgrades and 1 stack upgrade in the importer. If that still isn't fast enough, put more importers on the chest with speed and stack upgrades.1 point -

I feel like we were always going to have a quiet 1 or 2 months after a big couple of months of better games. I imagine they'll be another decent couple of games in a further 1-2 months. EDIT: Now seeing the Metacritic and user scores these games aren't as bad as you might usually think, probably because they aren't big AAA names. Games this month btw are as follows: What Remains of Edith Finch Metacritic score - 88 User Score - 8.2 Overcooked Metacritic score - 78 User Score - 7.8 What Remains of Edith Finch Trailer Overcooked Trailer1 point -

Thank you There's some bits of Refined Storage I've missed out as I am still working them out myself but will post an adendum once I have. Mostly this is wireless crafting as it takes a power source that isn't RF so trying to work out the best way to power it. You can also automate the autocrafters so if you get below a certian number of items, it will autocraft back to that number. Is there anything else you'd like to see a guide on?1 point -

I don't think you could accuse either LFC or MC of bottling any games this season....the other teams certainly didn't seem to want to get into the top 4 places on league performance though!1 point -

I would be devastated if I were them and that happened. Finishing second on potentially 97 points and losing a second straight CL final and third in a row would be horrible for them and especially for Klopp. The 'they've had an amazing season' consolation statement just wont wash with anyone and down the line it'll be remembered more for them 'bottling' it than how well they played over the course of the season. They have to win at least one and I hope it's not the Champions League!1 point -

Riot Games Walk Out
GazzaGarratt reacted to tronic44 for a topic
Over 150 discontented Riot Games employees walked out of the League of Legends publisher’s offices in Los Angeles today to protest the company’s stance on forced arbitration. Standing in a parking lot on Riot’s campus, employees held picket signs and gave impassioned speeches. “We’re asking that forced arbitration be ended for all past, current, and future Riot employees, including contractors and in current litigation,” said Jocelyn Monahan, a social listening strategist at Riot, in an interview with Kotaku. Standing in front of a sign reading “Rioters Unplugged,” a play on Riot’s internal “Riot Unplugged” meetings, Monahan would later tell her assembled colleagues through a megaphone, “asking to feel safe does not make you entitled.” Monahan had one major point she hoped to get across to her colleagues—even those who chose to stay in their desks and continue working. “We are what makes Riot great. I want us to feel solidarity and connection with each other. I want us to feel connected. I want us to feel like our voices are heard and heard in a way that matters.” Colleagues took turns speaking through the megaphone, with several admitting that they were scared to participate and be labeled “anti-Riot.” Said one, “I was worried. I was like, ‘What if I go and nobody shows up?’ I’m a little less worried about that now.” Others are showing their support with the #riotwalkout hashtag, which hundreds have been tweeting. Today’s protest appears to be the first labor-related walkout for a large game studio like Riot. The company’s management is allowing its employees to participate and has urged managers to be accommodating and understanding. In an email to Kotaku this morning, a Riot representative added, “We respect Rioters who choose to walkout today and will not tolerate retaliation of any kind as a result of participating (or not).” In the months since Kotaku’s investigation uncovering endemic sexism at Riot Games, five current or former employees sued the company, in part, for violating California’s Equal Pay Act. Last week, Riot filed a motion to force two of those current employees into arbitration, an extralegal forum where a suit does not go in front of a jury. Recently, 20,000 Google employees walked out to end forced arbitration; months later, Google announced it would comply, but only for harassment cases. Last week, Riot announced it would now allow incoming employees to opt out of forced arbitration for harassment suits and would consider extending that to current employees “as soon as current litigation is resolved.” Giving a speech, one current Riot employee announced she was quitting in two weeks. “I’m quitting because I don’t want to see people who were protected by people in high places in Riot,” the employee said. Two higher-up employees at Riot Games, including the COO, have been retained at the company (in the COO’s case, after a two-month unpaid leave) despite several complaints against them to HR and otherwise being accused of everything from gendered promotion strategies to ball-grabbing in Kotaku reports. Adding that she’s worried that she’ll “be labeled a red flag,” she continued, “I don’t even spend time with my husband who works here, because I worry that he’ll also be labeled.” Nearly half a dozen in attendance said that while they rarely talk in Slack or meetings, they felt compelled to publicly express concerns about Riot’s culture today. Signs at the protest read, “It shouldn’t take all this to do the right thing,” “Be the company you say you are,” and “Silence one of us, you silence us all.” In a Kotaku report earlier today, employees expressed several reasons they would participate. While several are attending specifically to show support for the two plaintiffs in suits against Riot, others were frustrated that eight months after Kotaku’s investigation, they have not seen concrete signs that Riot is dismantling its sexist culture. Said one, “So far I haven’t seen a single outcome of our diversity and inclusion efforts at Riot. I haven’t seen a single metric or number to indicate things have improved and I haven’t seen a single project get finished.” One other employee, who is male, explained, “While I fully believe Riot is doing everything they can in the moment to end future arbitration, I see value in presenting a nonviolent, unified voice. As someone with a voice, I am lending it to others who feel like they might not have one or be unheard.” Updated: 5/6/2019, 8:58 p.m. ET: Toward the end of the walkout, Monahan made an announcement saying that if Riot management doesn’t make any sort of commitment on forced arbitration by May 16—the date of the next Riot Unplugged meeting—she and others involved with the walkout will take further action. Another walkout organizer, Riot writer Indu Reddy, was not able to delve into specifics of what that will mean, but she told Kotaku that “we do have plans, and we do have days that we’re planning, and we do have commitments that we have responses for.” Reddy also said that despite Riot’s statement, retaliation is an ongoing concern. “We might face unforeseen consequences despite leadership’s own commitments, because leadership is one entity, and there are a lot of Rioters throughout the org,” she said. “We will prepare for retaliation. I think it wouldn’t be smart to not plan for it. But we’re not assuming it either because leadership said they wouldn’t retaliate—for this one, anyway. We will continue to ask for confirmation for future demonstrations.” The mood at the walkout, however, was generally positive. Robin, a Los Angeles chapter organizer for advocacy group Game Workers Unite, expressed hope that today’s walkout will inspire game developers at other companies, too. “The fact that this action went so well—there were people on the mic, everyone was so excited, there were so many people sharing their stories—I think that’s gonna inspire a lot of other people at companies to realize they have a lot of power over the conditions at their workplaces,” Robin told Kotaku. “This is going to be a tremendous example for people to know that they can make their conditions better.” [Update—9:30 am ET]: An earlier version of this story noted that employees had made allegations against Riot’s CFO. The allegations were actually against Riot’s COO. https://kotaku.com/over-150-riot-employees-walk-out-to-protest-forced-arbi-18345661981 point -
Borderlands 3

I certainly wont be picking this up until April 2020 when it's expected to be released on Steam. I'd then expect to pay no more than £19.99 but I feat they'll use that launch as an excuse to charge another £39.99. I deleted my Epic account and flushed all that Chinese shit off my PC this week and will never buy anything from the Epic Store. It's sad to see developers/publishers doing this - it may be attractive financially with a small cut and an Epic backhander but for the gamer it's a fucking disgrace. The Epic platform has less features than Steam did back in 2003. Embarrassing. I do like the look of Borderlands 3 but Pitchford, 2K and Gearbox are a match made in hell for trust and bad industry ethics. Randy is the biggest bullshitter out there and 2K love microtransactions so much, they tell their own players to write to the Belgium government and beg them to change the law so they can continue selling lootboxes. How could we forget Battleborn too. So far I'm still very interested in the game but I fear there is more controversy on the way.1 point -

I'm also going to do the new CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ exam. It's around £70 and seems to be a broad foundation level qualification across a bit of everything. I realise that although I have a fair bit of knowledge, the only IT qualification I have is my GCSE from about 8 years ago lol. I've done a few of the free practise mini exams (about 10 questions) and got 100% on most, so will do a little brushing up over the coming weeks and then go for the exam, just to have a proper qualification to back up my skills and knowledge. Some of A+ stuff was pretty advanced and specialised so feel that maybe the Fundamentals+ is a good way to start and getting a foundation qualification across a few areas. The final piece of the puzzle was added this afternoon. Samsung 970 Evo Plus. 1TB. Have to thank @Diddumsagain. Years ago you gave me a Samsung pen that was actually a screwdriver, with magnetic parts. The M.2 screw and standoff is tiny, plus I was fitting it into a gap I could barely squeeze a flat hand into, and that screwdriver saved me a lot of bother The Samsung migration software is pretty nifty and I've made this NVMe my boot drive. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07MBQPQ62/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=11 point -
