I played in bands for a number of years, played all around Europe, played in Italy, France, Belgium, Spain, Germany. Punk rock a has a non profit DIY underground scene so there's still a decent audience outside of the UK. Played guitar in a couple of bands but my main band I was the vocalist.

The connection is fine. They have a massive amount oh health. Basically the same as the AGR had in Blops 2.

This. Looks like a Fortnite copy to me. I ain't bothered about it, not if its just cosmetic stuff like sprays. They were the bain of my life in Overwatch.

Players have worked it out that you need basically 200 hours of playtime just to complete the First Strike event in BO4's battle pass format. That means to max out, you have to grind like fuck with just under 50 days or so remaining. There's no challenges for additional XP or to keep things interesting - it's a straight up grindfest. It's all set up so Activision can sell COD points so people can buy progress I bet. This will definitely mitigate the losses of supply drops. I don't think a lot will pay but I also don't think a lot will play either especially with such an unimaginative format and such unappealing rewards. I've done the CompTIA stuff. It's very basic and more of just a memory game. Fairly interesting, but mostly about RAID levels and UEFI BIOS that sort of thing, nothing too taxing. I was 21 when I decided I wanted to work in Telecomms and took a massive pay cut to work for BT. I Started on standard telephony stuff and moved up to fibre optics and networking. From there I jumped over to supporting hardware in a datacentre, and from there jumped to supporting storage arrays nationally (still at BT). Throughout my whole career, the thing that gets me through is logical problem solving and the ability to get shit done. In my last interview I said I knew next to fuck all about this role, but my best skills are transferable and I'll pick it up quickly. I joined in March and I'm now supporting callouts for national level incidents (eeeek) and doing some complex shit. Have a look on Amazon for some used books, they are cheap as fuck (usually an older edition) but pretty much everything is the same. CCNA is another good qualification, but again no measure of a useful network engineer (I've worked with some exceptionally stupid people with CCNA I wouldn't let them reset my home hub.)

Went with the Saug for my 2nd prestige. That SMG is an absolute melting machine up close, Summit and Firing Range especially. As its Level 55, it made sense. VAPR will probably be next if I don't fall in love with another gun in the meantime...

I haven’t played in a long time so I think it is better to say I own a guitar rather than can play one 😛 I used to play quite a bit though only from tabs and not any proper training on chords/scales etc.

In my excitement last week I missed the status report. Vehicles and base building. Holy shit. We will offer a detailed list of the BETA package later on. The list for both features and content is not exactly short, so we'll need to make make sure everything works.

It'd be good to get a session one evening, and I can help newbies learn the ropes, thinking here if you @GazzaGarratt But if Didds olde worlde computer and Rich's on death's door laptop can manage it maybe @Diddums and @tronic44 and @J4MES OX4D too would like to make themselves available one evening. I've been down the youtube rabbit hole. They are absolutely ruthless in their defense of their income. I've seen how little of a shit they give about content creators first hand. Their algorithm is very simple: Will this affect us if we leave it up? If yes, remove. If no, leave there. The content doesn't matter, you could post a vid containing the cure to cancer and it's fine. Add in 3 seconds of some bullshit song nobody knows? Gone. They don't negotiate, they don't help, they don't offer any advice, nothing. They'll send you an email saying that you contravened their T&Cs and the vid is taken down and that's the end of it. They went thru a phase where they'd remove the audio or stick ads over the content without giving a shit to claim some money but those days are gone. This Fortnite player is generating income for Google and regardless of the community, it'll stay forever, because money > everything. I've been on the dark side of most of these companies' products, whether it be Adsense, Adwords, Youtube, Google Analytics, the lot. I can say from first hand experience that when it comes to the bottom line, zero fucks are given. Ever.

LOLZ @Diddums. This is why I love you. Also, that right there is usually the gauge that it is actually a really good game - you being hyped about a game in the first 7 days usually ends in the opposite *cough division cough* 😘 I think you wouldn't give two tits to my view but I'm with @Dan94 and @Shucker on this. As is I think quite a lot more than normal. The spawns I agree with 100%, as do I with a few other points you make, however after one game you cannot make that view for the whole of the game. I think you've just worn put of the CoD style of the game. But the funny thing is, this the most unlike CoD game I can remember and that's why it's the best game they've had in years. TTK is spot on. It no longer feels a game that is all about Twitch, more so about Tactics (this is where I probably lose you 😁). You can't race around and get tons of kills straight away with the health pack model they have, which they've never done before. It really works. It also gives you certain points where a 1v1 gunfight you can actually react and get out of. Admittedly, snipers feel a little OP with OHK but with a few tweaks they'll work pretty well in the long run. Blackout looks very smooth to me and that's hugely different to PUBG imo. They couldve gone further but they didn't and that's a marketing stunt, but hey I'm not gonna knock them for still making a game mode that works and is solidly made. Fortnite is maybe more fun but really now about how much you can cramp your hand into multiple spasms so you can build the most prettiest mansion just to stay safe from bullets. The funniest part of all of this though is I found myself thinking 'This is a little like Rainbow 6' 😂 Yep, our running joke that all games are like, we actually have one! And it's better because of it. More people want tactics and strategy out of games rather than that bullshit twitch nonsense we've always had in CoD. The operators have something different that is so much better than just looking at what grenades to stick on. Pick 10 has always worked well and I think @ChaosGladiator called it out perfectly, that you are feeling like shit because the learning curve at the start is pretty steep, more because the guns are dogpike without the attachments and upgrades. Some we win, some we lose but the gameplay with no jumpy backpacks is really fun. That's what it always boils down to. If we have people playing here then this game is just as fun as Overwatch was back in the day. Compared to many here that were/still are amazingly good at CoD, I am dogshit but I'm having way more fun than previous titles. Tldr. CoD took some best bits out of AAA games and put them together to make a game that is actually fun and not all about Twitch skills anymore. Thank Fuck. P.S.
