As a general rule to go the quickest you want to turn off or down as many aids as possible while still be able to keep it on track. From memory I have ABS on, TC at level 1 and manual gears.

That's weird. My game is playing in survival mode. The server gives me the ability to create up to 3 worlds, but only one can be active. All my settings point to a survival world, so not sure on where it is an issue. Are you sure you're connecting to our server? I've set up a new Survival world, see if this changes anything. @crispymorgan your son might be a little confused if the world seems to have been reset, just so he knows while we try figure this out. Can you also ask him if when he is playing, he is playing in Survival mode? EDIT: New world seemed corrected, so we will continue on the new world. I've also set the game to keep inventory upon death, hopefully everyone is okay with this.

Got my first Blackout win today! Nothing special with only 3 kills - I've got more and finished outside the top 50 before but I'll take the win regardless.

What was your first unlock? What are you looking forward to unlocking - a perk or weapon? I'm undecided atm. I usually go for a perk like Dead Silence but then I'd love to have the Swordfish but also hear good things about the Vapr.

Not sure how such a simple feature could cause so many problems. Seems the ID is more than just a name - it's like a digital fingerprint coded into content and other aspects. I'm currently on a PSN temporary trial - last time I was on the network was back in 2011 when it was free (and taken down for 6 weeks by kid hackers!) and I must admit; all these years later, even with a now-paid for service; the same old back-end issues, restrictions and design problems still exist. Not sure if I can justify splashing out £40-50 on an annual subscription even if they do bait me with perks and free games that I probably wouldn't buy regardless. Sony really should have an account ID which is locked down and then a display name which you can change once a year or something and is set to your ID as default to start with.

Server is on a new world as Plumbers was stuck in creative mode. All seems well now, so server should just run as normal. Updates to the game shouldn't have any affect to the server either.

Mercenary playlists are for non-parties so if you're playing on your own, you can join a playlist of other players also on their own meaning you likely wont get stomped on. These tend to be more relaxed playlists away from ones where even just 2 players dominate a lobby.

I changed tyres after reading what you'd posted previously. I turned off that auto braking and steering, I was wondering what the hell was happening till I realised .

In the car set up we have to enable BOP so our pimped out cars are all levelled out. It's in the top left-hand corner of the car set up screen. I'd also suggest changing your tyres there to super soft if you haven't already. That's also in the car settings page! Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

Jump shots have been around a lot longer than that. Huge in halo back in the day. Also in Black Ops when they got rid of drop shots.

Well, I finally got on, and that required a check of the file integrity. Not a lot of time spent just yet on it but what I played I was happy with. It's like a weird cross of BF4, COD and Tarkov. Shooting was satisfying. Movement fluid. Early days though and it needs a lot of work still. Promising though.

People are beginning to know the game now and exploit things that are OP. Snipers are pretty much OHK and so is doing a jump shot with a shotgun. I've also been seeing these dual-wield pistol-type weapons being used heavily which look deadly as they have literally no recoil and easy mobility.

I struggled with the ICR at first put picked it back up after maxing a couple of other weapons and it's a very good starting weapon that is worth using to rank up. The right attachments and a good sight make the difference. The MX9 and GKS are great SMG's you have access to early on too.

I love the KN also. Rapid fire and grip is a great combo, even better with stock and extended mags. I can't get on with the ICR. People tear through me with it but I can't do well with it, not enough damage for me. Swordfish was what I permantely unlocked once I Prestiged . Gks for smg’s, Icr until you unlock the KN in the AR category. For a change of pace I went for the Auger Dmr as well once I unlocked it. Slap a reddot and fast mags or high caliber on it and it’s quite good. Stay clear of scopes on the KN, except for RDS/holo. 3x scope jumps too much with the recoil I feel.
