Whilst it was stupid that you couldn't use external storage for PS5 games I can also sort of understand why: people are fucking idiots and some would have got confused as to why they can't run PS5 games from external storage.

Finally some decent updates to the PS5, although they don't go too far just yet reading into it.

 

I think the PS5 downloadable games on external hard drive is only a good idea if its extremely quick to copy it back on to the internal one....otherwise you might aswell re-download it anyway! The party is update is better, however it won't remove these new groups...although we've got used to it. On that note though I do hope people have gotten over the notifications element to it because we get hundreds of notifications of all things on our phones, its not the worst thing i've seen now.

Do we know how big the update is? Deffo getting it started when i get in from work lol. I'm happy about the storage update, when games are coming out at almost 100GB it will be good to have that extra storage for them

Update download should be relatively quick and easy as there aren’t that many PS5’s out there! 😂

Did the update and it was pretty routine and there was also a controller update too.
