Details of each version below - which one will you be getting?

 

There are three distinct editions each offering loads of value and incredible content: Standard (MSRP $59.99 USD), Cross-Gen Bundle (MSRP $69.99 USD) and Ultimate (MSRP $89.99 USD).

All digital editions include the Confrontation Weapons Pack, available for use in Black Ops Cold War. Plus, players can pre-order digitally for even more rewards (See Digital Pre-Order Rewards and Open Beta Early Access below).

Digital Standard Editions 

Jump into the action right away on PS4 or Xbox One. With Black Ops Cold War’s cross generation, cross play and cross progression support, you can play with your friends regardless of platform. When you’re ready to move to the next generation on PS5 or Xbox Series X, you can take your profile and stats with you. Experience the next generation of global combat when you upgrade. Digital Cross-Gen Editions 

The Cross-Gen digital editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War deliver even more for players, including a dual entitlement for Black Ops Cold War which allows you to play on current (PS4, Xbox One) and next-generation consoles within the same console family (PS5, Xbox Series X).

Ultimate Editions

The Ultimate edition includes a dual entitlement for Black Ops Cold War, the Land, Sea, and Air pack (more info below), and a Battle Pass Bundle for any post-launch Season of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, which includes 20 Tier Skips.

Purchase the Ultimate edition in the Modern Warfare and Warzone Store to receive 10 instantly activated Tier Skips for the current Battle Bass system in Modern Warfare (and Warzone).

You basically pay $30 more not to play the game with the Ultimate Edition - it's like an expensive Ubisoft booster! 

 

This is what you got for the premium version a decade ago

and now all you get tier skips for EZ digital crap LOL! 

 

 

The standard edition is all that's needed really. If anyone has a next gen console pre-ordered then it's the cross gen standard for them. I can get it for £46 on GMG but I may just wait 6 weeks and then pick it up for £25.

Just read the campaign has multiple endings depending on how you play through it.

It's another one of these 'choices matter' campaigns similar to how they did BO2 and 3 but I'm guessing it will be fairly limited in terms of the outcome and still as linear as ever no matter how much they try and push this.

As I have no intention of picking up a new consoles for a while then I'll be getting the bog standard edition.

Will probably be the cross gen bundle for me, seeing as I'll be getting the PS5 fairly soon after its release.
