Sheff Wed 2-0 Arsenal and Walcott and Chamberlain have gone off injured!

I was getting some Flamini jokes prior to the game, so I've been chuckling all day.

To be fair the gooners are better off out of the league cup, they spend their load overcoming Spurs, obviously.

Sheff Wed beat Oxford 1-0 at Hillsborough in round 2 yet Arsenal lost 3-0 there so that technically means Oxford are better than Arsenal B)

Although we lost 3-2 at home to Barnet on Saturday

So Leo Messi wants to play for Arsenal. I can already imagine Wenger clutching at his transfer budget refusing to meet Barca's asking price or Leo's wage demands xD

So, the Neville brothers working together again....

Bit more high profile than Salford City!!

Gary Neville: Valencia name ex-Man Utd defender head coach

Former Manchester United and England defender Gary Neville has been named as Valencia's head coach until the end of the season.
The 40-year-old, who will take charge officially on Sunday, will remain part of the England coaching set-up.
Peter Lim, Valencia's Singaporean owner, has a stake in Salford City, the non-league club co-owned by Neville.
His brother Phil, who joined the Spanish club as assistant manager in July, will stay on the coaching staff.
"I am absolutely thrilled to be given this opportunity with Valencia," the new head coach said.
Neville, who has stepped down from his position as a Sky Sports pundit with immediate effect, will attend a news conference with club president Layhoon Chan on Thursday.

He will not lead the team when they face Barcelona in La Liga on Saturday, instead taking charge for the first time when they host Lyon in the Champions League the following Wednesday.
England head coach Roy Hodgson said: "As far as I'm concerned, this will be an extra string to his bow and the experience he will gain working in the Spanish league can only be beneficial to our work together with the England team.
"Gary's commitment to the FA's preparations for Euro 2016 will not be in any way affected by the fact that he will be coaching abroad during the next five months."
Neville replaces Nuno Espirito Santo, who resigned after Sunday's 1-0 defeat at Sevilla, a result that left Valencia ninth in the Spanish league.
The club finished fourth last season, but have won only five of their opening 13 league matches this term.

Gary Neville's career
1992: Makes Manchester United debut and spends 19 years at club, winning 20 major trophies including two Champions Leagues and eight Premier Leagues
1995: Makes England debut going on to earn 85 caps
2011: Starts as a Sky Sports pundit for the 2011-12 season
2012: Appointed assistant coach to Roy Hodgson with the England team
2014: Agrees to buy Salford City with fellow former United players including brother Phil, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes
2014: Agrees to sell 50% stake of Salford City to businessman Peter Lim, already majority owner of Valencia
2015: Appointed Valencia head coach with brother Phil as his assistant

Fifa arrests: Two Fifa vice-presidents detained at Zurich hotel

Two Fifa vice-presidents have been arrested in a dawn raid at a Swiss hotel on suspicion of accepting millions of dollars of bribes.
Concacaf president Alfredo Hawit and Conmebol president Juan Angel Napout were taken from the Baur au Lac hotel, Zurich, where several Fifa officials were also arrested in May.
Fifa's executive committee is meeting in the city to vote on reforms.
It says it will "fully co-operate" with separate US and Swiss investigations.
The US Department of Justice requested Thursday morning's arrests and will hold a news conference at 18:30 GMT.
Hawit, 64, is interim president for North, Central America and Caribbean football, while Napout, 57, oversees football in the South American confederation.

In May, seven Fifa officials, including another two vice-presidents, were arrested at the same hotel at the request of a US investigation into corruption, as football's world governing body was engulfed by claims of widespread wrongdoing.
The Swiss Federal Office of Justice (FoJ) has said Hawit and Napout are alleged to have taken money for selling marketing rights in connection with football tournaments in Latin America, as well as World Cup qualifying matches.
It said the pair had opposed their extradition to the United States at a hearing earlier.
"They are being held in custody pending their extradition. According to the US arrest requests, they are suspected of accepting bribes of millions of dollars," the Swiss FoJ said.

A Swiss criminal investigation into the bids for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups was also launched earlier this year, alongside the US inquiry.
Fifa has said in a statement it will "continue to co-operate fully with the US investigation as permitted by Swiss law, as well as with the investigation being led by the Swiss Office of the Attorney General".

Jose to Man Utd I'd expect.

Was thinking the same. Imagine, a £40 million pay-off from Cheatski, a nice break over xmas, then stepping into LVG's shoes early in the new year, he's a clever bastard

What ya reckon Rich?

jeffersonclasswar.jpg

Apparently, he's been paid up to the end of the season....wonder if it's because he's refused to rule out working at another PL club?

Jose at Utd, Pep at City??

January cannot come quick enough for a Liverpool fan... Jesus Christ a 3-0 loss to Watford...

Liverpool can brush aside the likes of man city and Chelsea but drop points against newcomers like Watford... Get some bloody consistency!

WTF happened to Arsenal tonight? Not complaining, but 4 nil? Where'd that come from? What a strange season so far...

Leicester still top, I take my hat off to Ranieri :)
