Football (Played with Feet)

A few days before the russian mafia bought the club, it was about to go bust, they were going to be wound up.

It's funny because Oxford had them in a pre-season friendly in 2003 in what was deemed possibly 'their last ever football match' until Abramovic bailed them out a few weeks later from Ken Masturbates. They had about 600 fans for their big game and after Roman had scouted out 4 other teams including Spurs and Arsenal; he chose Chelsea in what was his last choice on this money laundering hit list. They couldn't even fill out Stamford Bridge even for their big games against massive teams like Crystal Palace and Wimbledon back in the day

They will always be a channel 5 team in my eyes and anything they've won in the last 10 years; they have bought

Same with Man City - back in the 90's; that was a 6pts easy for Oxford and we were City's big day out. Even we were a league above them back in the late 90's and now they're the champions and in the CL but they still can't sell out their ground even against the likes of Bayern Munich with BOGOF tickets. Pathetic really

Kick-off has been delayed til 8pm James, Sheffield Utd's coach is stuck in traffic

Not sure what's up with the traffic today, I work near St Paul's and cycling down Old Street back to Hackney was murder, impatient drivers taking liberties and pedestrians walking into the road without looking, when they're 20 metres from a pedestrian crossing. Not to mention the dodgy cyclists who have no idea how to behave in traffic and who often get a pissed off Phil giving them a piece of his mind, in fairly colourful language, but then that's a daily ooccurrence :)

James, I hope you bring us some luck tonight COYS!

My presence earned a 1-0 win in what I must admit was a fucking awful game  I've been to two cup semis in recent years; 5-1 v Arsenal and 4-1 against Burnley so I could be forgiven for putting a tenner on Spurs grabbing a 6-1 victory but it was a much harder game than anyone was expecting and at times United had their half chances. I haven't seen the highlights but the handball looked hillarious as McEveley seemed to scoop the ball up volleyball-slapping style  Spurs seemed to either want to pass it to death Arsenal style or be overly-direct and neither style seemed to pay off until the penalty out of nowhere. Even Spurs's best players didn't really shine tonight which was a shame but credit does have to go to the visitors and Sheffield United are somewhat cup specialists after knocking out Southampton and being FA Cup semi finalists last year.

I had a good day though;- spent about 5 hours in the Bricklayers camped out while it was absolutely freezing. Did have a quick browse of how the redevelopment of the ground is coming along and the Lilywhite House building looks impressive and I see the foundations are dug for the building work to commence. They certainly have demolished a fair portion of houses to get that space but it was a shithole so who cares B)

My biggest gripe was my seat - restricted view...of the ground and not the pitch but it didn't make the most pleasant viewing although the penalty was down that end. Any future I'll be sticking to my guns and going lower park lane or shelf side in front of the poles. At least I chalked off the fact of sitting in every stand and tier now in the whole ground :D

Excuse the crappy quality - I was pissed and my iPhone is old ;)

5 hours in the Bricklayers? You must have been smashed :D Lucky you didn't trip on those dodgy stairs heading up to the heavens

Utd pretty much parked the bus in front of their 3rd of the pitch but when they did try going forward they looked dangerous, at least on the right wing. I think we've done enough to reach the final and I reckon Poch will play a full strength team for the second leg, but we'll see...it's a funny old game :)

 I was a bit merry to say the least and managed to catch up with some friends who I hadn't seen for a long time and then the rounds of drinks started flowing and before I knew it; I was plastered ;) Even saw my Didcot Town scarf I donated a decade ago up on the wall still going strong from the FA Vase final at the lane B)

I think Spurs will progress to the final but they did make hard work of it when they could have earned a sizable advantage last night. Poch will have to play his strongest XI I think just to be sure. Southampton got beat up there with their best team and after last night; United can't be underestimated.

I must have walked up about two miles of stairs yesterday :D

Eriksen bailing Spuds out again! He's earned them 10 points in the league this year with late late goals and now possibly a cup final...

It ain't over yet though...

The man is fucking class, both were quality goals. To be fair until that freak last 15 minutes we pretty much bossed the game and could have had a hatful. Conditions were awful.

We're in the final!!!!!!!! :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

Looks like Chelsea have almost wrapped up the signing of Cuadrado for around £23M, i really rate him as a player and would have loved to have seen him at utd but i honestly don't know what we'd do with another forward/winger

Transfer window was fairly quiet for once.

I was sorry to see Aaron Lennon get loaned to Everton, I've always had a soft spot for the man spurs fans call: Azza Blud

Our chairman's decision to not let Ade get loaned to West Ham was hilarious, particularly for the rage from David Gold. I fucking despise West Ham, so they can keep blowing bubbles* out their arses.

I once took my mate's young son to a west ham game (his son eventually went on to support arsenal lol) as my mate had to work. West Ham were playing Stoke but they just sang songs about spurs all game. They were singing about Tottenham: "champions league, you're having a laugh" about 2 weeks before we actually got into the champions league.

But back to the window. We picked up Aliiiiiii from MK Dons and he'll join us in the summer. Still think we needed another striker.

We also released benny (assou ekotto), a very polarising figure for a number of reasons but I for one, will miss his personality

Gutted that Alli's gone, I met him a few times when I was with the Dons.

Also gutted about Lennon, I was a fan of his but can't bring myself to liking Everton players

Decent game tonight I thought. Bolton played really well and deserved the lead although the little shit dived for the penalty B) Red card changed the game and Liverpool were always going to win after they scored. Great goal by Phil Cooteeneeo to nick it. Bolton did defend we'll second half but it was only a matter of time until they were breached. Ref was dodgy throughout too

Well, for a Spurs fan that was one great weekend, could have done with Southampton not nicking a win with a late goal against QPR but who's complaining.

Man Utd drew with West Ham.

Man Shitty drew with Hull.

Bin dippers drew with skip raiders.

and most importantly, Tottenham Hotspurs smashed up the Woolwich Nomads good and fucking proper. On and off the pitch apparently.... but let's not go there

We'll now get beat by Liverpool I guarantee

Big showdown in the Championship tonight and I'm going. Top of the division is tight as hell with Bournemouth, Derby and Boro one point apart and a chasing pack of 3 others not far behind. So tonight I'm going to Bournemouth v Derby, even though I'm a Boro fan ( we are away at bottom of the table Blackpool). So a draw at B v D and a Boro win puts us top, and me the only person in the entire ground singing 'we are top of the league'.
