I love fusion rifles. Used to think they sucked but come to realize that it's just me. I used the arc fusion rifle for this week's nightfall and destroyed the Knights. Used my fire one to tear through wizard but they kept moving so had to change to ghallajhorn.

They are extremely useful. If you don't have a few fusion rifles you should consider it. Well worth the investment.

I got Plan C as a Raid drop, it's a quality fusion rifle for both PvE and PvP. Plus, if you're used to carrying Ice Breaker in your specials slot, Plan C being an exotic won't affect the rest of your loadout.

You don't have to. The only place it will matter will be the new hard mode raid. Everywhere else it will be just as effective.
