Confirmed. Honestly, what a load of crap. As if the franchise isn't stale enough, let's release a sequel back-to-back off the back of a game that people already seem to hate. Can't one of these imbecile studios come out with something that isn't Black Ops or Modern Warfare now? If we get Black Ops 8 in 2026 then I'm giving up gaming.

 According to the info about it, it's releasing with brand new maps. Even though leaks said it would have all of the original BO2 maps at launch with a few new maps 🤔

We need Advanced Warfare 2. I'm being serious. I thought it was excellent. Just tone down the jetpack movement a bit.

I think Black Ops 7 is supposed to have wallrunning and all that mumbo jumbo. The franchise does need a bit of a shake-up even if it does go back to that unpopular type of mechanics. It's just a shame they have to bleed the brands to death because they can't be creative and come up with something fresh.

Treyarch haven't been the same since David Vonderhaar departed and even he knew he had to jump ship away from this shitshow before his legacy was destroyed. To think him, Jason Blundell and Dan Bunting were replaced by these blabbering buffoons of waffle drivel is just painful to think about. Even Josh Olin must be thinking what the utter fuck are they yapping on about for 20 minutes at a time without actually saying anything. This isn't as mortifying to see as what 343 have done with Halo but it's bloody close. 

 

Nice to see them still looking to recycle all of the classic maps they've already brought back 5-6 times already. This has to be the most generic, soulless and pathetic excuse of a live service game imaginable. That's certainly the way the developers are selling it to me.

Just going from the trailer it looks to me like MP is more refined than BO6. It's like BO7 is the MP game that BO6 should have been 🤔 Obviously that may not be the case when the actual game launches. I saw somebody comment that it's just "AW 1.5" and I'm all for that. For me it all depends on the maps. They better not be all small again.

It certainly looks more refined like Black Ops 3. Not sure what the hell they were thinking with BO6 especially with the stupid movement. They had it nailed down in MW2019 and Vanguard yet they practically made it so flimsy and exploitable in the last game that it just looked and felt ridiculous. 

 

I think this will be a similar case to Advanced Warfare where the devs have tried their hardest and produced a reasonably polished game but shocking direction and shite marketing ruins it. Sadly it'll look and feel way more superior to 6 but get ten times the flack.
