Definetly a lot more fun now than when it first came out and you couldn't even spawn in without being lassoed by the nearest cunt on legs to be dragged behind his horse until you died. 😄 

So @ChaosGladiator @Nutcuttlit @LordBaguette Marc and myself have been plugging away at Red Dead Online for the past week and it's been an absolute blast. Yesterday we got a new member joining the pisse (typo but imma keep it) in the form of Matt. 
 
Just thought I'd post here to see if there was any interest in you lot to join up with us  would be cool to get enough players so that there would always be someone on to chat to.

Well life hasn't been quite the same this year has it now? It's been a struggle, even for Mr Annoying Positive guy over here. Keeping going mentally is challenging enough in life as it is, let alone more lockdown news across the world. However, I haven't stopped, maybe procrastinated a little too much, but I wanted to report we are getting somewhere. Needless to say I can't do it without you all visiting and popping in, not forgetting our home for which i'm extremely grateful. This could be a long-ish one but it will be worth it so please read all of it!
 
I'll do my best to keep it brief (yeah, okay Lee) and maybe give you some visuals a long the way to make it easier to not switch off 😁
 
FG Progress Updates
 
We mentioned some months ago here, we (or more so I, with the help of you amazing people) wanted to make a stand and keep things moving where we could to make a difference. I've copied the bits mentioned from the thread and shown any progress next to it:
 
Merchandise Shop - New application purchased for FG so it can support the Merch shop. Early days but you may see that there is a resemblance of a shop on our Home (you can check it out in the menu bar).
 
It needs a lot of fleshing out with way more bits need to be added of course so obviously any ideas of things we should have in there please can you keep them coming. Big shout out to Matty @Misneach_  as he working through to find an american provider so we can get the same or similar designs to save on the postage.
 
FG Points/Gamerscore - This hasn't moved anywhere. Not received any ideas since we raised it and sits lower down the pecking order as it was an added incentive to your daily life at FG. Creating new sections (New entire page spaces for games) - I've started creating a few but obviously need a little more content to get them fully up and running. I'm considering making a few live with bare bones and getting all of you to help flesh them out a bit and offer suggestions on what you think would work best. That way we have something workable ongoing to regularly improve. Destiny and FIFA are a few i'm looking at but there's a lot of work under the hood with the new functionality to get it bang on. Just wanted to show you something to see progress is being made even if it still needs major tweaks and changes:      
 
Creating new sections - New homepage - its coming along too. Not too much to giveaway here but I think we need to have a central point for everyone to remember all the other parts of stuff we have fun with too. Work in progress below but getting there...even if it could end up meaning one extra click for some:
 
Expanding existing areas - we now have dedicated forums and discord channels for a few games with also corresponding notifications for those games. You may have seen a few pop up in discord and these should work well with new page spaces if we decide to have them. Guides & Tips section - We haven't received any new updates to it. With Destiny launching soon and with other brand new games as well as existing games starting to get a following (FIFA, 7 Days, etc) it would be good to get a few more up. Re-engaging with old FGers - we've seen a few faces come back, and its nice to see some of the PPRs of old (and new!) being updated. Its just a rubbish time for everyone so reading everyones PPRs, hearing that you're all okay and getting by however you can is really awesome to see. Would love to see more updates and people embrace PPRs more, even if its just to read others and comment on their ones. Its the one big way we can make a difference in such a small amount of effort. Open our doors to new FGers - A few people have graced us with their presence. Awesome thanks to people like Nutty @Nutcuttlit  spreading the FG wings out there on all manor of games. When you can, make sure you take the moment to make newer people feel part of the group properly. The more we help each other, the better we'll all feel about stuff going on. Regular gaming nights schedule - We've definitely picked up a few things and I can only see more to come. FIFA Monday Night Football, GT Sport Weekly Races on Tuesdays, 7 Days horde nights every so often, and Destiny Raids have popped up again too. I think what I probably need to do is more simple YouTube explanations on how to set up events, etc as I fear just because I might not be able to turn up or can't make a night doesn't mean we can't make a go of things. We also have to be persistent. If a few times they don't work, you keep trying as the more it becomes force of habit, the more times people will join for fun and good times. Ways to help others (real charity fundraisers starting with charity streams) - I don't think we've managed to find enough time to do these of late which is a shame as its something we could definitely do to support others. I did think about a group Movember even if its 3 days late. Try to get a regular pattern on sending out Feel Good Fund parcels to caring FGers - There's been a few parcels sent out. I haven't updated the thread lately but this probably leads into a time where because this year has an absolute awful one for many, i'm going to try and do what I can to make something happen, starting with the BIG Xmas FGFGF Giveaway.

We clearly still have a major problem with how life is at present, even though we have Discord, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and our Home here to keep in touch. Whilst I started many years ago saying it could work, over recent years it proved to get in the way, as it makes us all a little lazy at times. However, with the year we've had, how many people are splintered over all those ways to connect, the inability to help get everyone on one simple chat application AND Sony royally fucking up playstation chat parties, I'm planning on resurrecting one purely for FGers. All I ask is that you don't forget this place as this is our Home. If we don't have a home, FG will splinter and die which we all don't want. Let me know if you want to be part of one and we'll see how it goes. When we seem in a better place in the world we'll see how things lay, like everything here and we can change things around as and when we're at that point. I won't hesitate to close it though if I feel this place is dying away. Any views, thoughts, opinions i'd be seriously grateful on this thread.

After not being able to do something last year and we've said enough about 2020 until the cows come home (never understood that expression when written down but it works when i say it out loud), its time I believe to put some smiles back on people's faces. We're a month away from the release of what I expect to be the best game I'll play this year and the hype I'm feeling surrounding it is growing by the day. I know most of you on here prefer online games, but to me a single player game with a great story just stands apart and CD Project Red are the goddamn masters of making them.
 
Anyways, back on topic! Cyberpunk 2077.... Holy shit. It's happening soon and from the looks of it you'll get some pretty important choices to make right off the bat that will impact your skills and the story in a big way from what I've seen and read so far. Quick run down of the different "Lifepath" options  here:

So far all of the 3 options kind of appeal to me. They all come with perks I'd want and I'm a bit conflicted as to which one to chose. The good thing about this however is the replay possibility. The story and some characters will be different and unique depending on which path you take, meaning after hours spent exploring one path and completing it, you still have 2 unique paths to play around with.
 
Now, given the information CD Project Red has given us and what they've told us about the lifepaths I'm slightly more leaning towards going the corporate route first. It just seems logical that that option would give me the most options in terms of power and wealth early on and would make for a slightly more relaxed playthrough to ease me into the game, althought I have a feeling it wont be easier because if you're set up for money and power, the bad guys will be as well. And that makes me think the corporate option might be harder 😅
 
Nomad also has it's appeals. More knowledge of gear and cars is never a bad thing to have and the cars just look stunning... But from the info provided seems like the tougher option early on as you aren't set up for life in Night city.
 
Street kid holds the least appeal to me. Yes knowing the city and all the degenerates that live there is usefull as hell. But it just comes off as the "Standard" backstory to me when it comes to other single player games where you start off as the lowest scum at the bottom of the barrel to work your way up. Here the corporate path just seems like it'll be more interesting.
 
Anyways! They're giving us 3 different paths to explore and what I want to know from all of you lovely people planning to get the game is.... Which options appeals to you? What thoughts have you made yourself up about them and will you try all 3 or just stick to 1 or 2 of the paths available?

Diego Forlán reporting in. Fucking hyped for this! My first 15 matches of pro clubs on this I had 18 goals and 11 assists I think, looking forward to seeing that record go up 😉

My greatest moment in fifa 21 pro clubs so far 😂 And I got nothing but shit from my teammates who claimed I could not have meant to do that 🤣

A tale of two halves on MNF this week to our total surprise and ended up with a solid promotion to Division 6 by the end of the night!
 
As per usual we felt like we were off to a flyer with some great chances in the first game falling to Forlan @ChaosGladiator and McManaman @Macca89  but we just couldn't hit the back of the net and, like most sessions, the opposition took full advantage by nicking a few goals. Macca managed to score a lovely worked goal in the second half and so for a change we managed to pick up a point when we would've usually got nothing for our efforts. After our first game though, we struggled to get any momentum going and took a huge battering in the middle of 3 losses on the bounce (5-3) even though it was end to end stuff, equalising twice straight from the kick off. Garry Goals, wasn't living up to his namesake, refusing to take shots at one point, as we were probably too guilty for being Seb's favourite team too much and trying to walk the ball in the net like good ol' Arsenal.
 
We then decided to change and have an 'ANY' player because of the amount of times they were getting around the wings with one ball and easily beating the AI defense by pace alone. Macce assumed the role with Forlan upfront, Gary Goals @LordBaguette  in CAM and Tommy Tickle @GazzaGarratt in LMF supporting defense and attack. This seem to pay dividends as the goals started to flow - even Garry Goals got in on the act (you can thank me later for the square pass into an empty net😎) and Forlan/McManaman combination upfront was hugely successful, banging the net and humiliating some teams by scoring over 3 goals a game. Tommy Tickle felt in control of most middle play, successfully winning most tackles he got stuck in with.
 
So from an evening that looked the worst 20 minutes in, ended up in glory with FGFC missing out on Champions by a single point in the end as we went 4 games unbeaten. Somehow, quite incredibly, we find ourselves in Division 6 next time - that's 5 promotions across 9 seasons. Something to be proud of as we're playing for the absolute fun of it.
 
Overall season - 4W 2D 4L = 14 points, promotion to Division 6 and a carbon copy of Division 8's results from the previous week.

P.S. We're thinking of moving to FIFA 21 when we all get it (which is nearly a reality btw). If so, we'll create a new thread as Pro Clubs doesn't carry over from previous versions.

Pull up a chair, grab a cup of tea. As most of you know, I do the odd matched betting now and again, and a side effect of this is that occasionally the bookies want me to get responsibly addicted to their casinos. To do this they'll put a nice little lure on their rods and cast it to my bullshit Gmail account, and today I bit on one of those lures, nice and deep. 
 
Today's lure was from Grosvenor Casinos and it came in the form of a £10 bonus to use on their live casino. I'll save you the boring shit but live casino bonuses are always great as you stand the highest chance of making something. To do this, I needed to roll that £10 over 5 times which we always do on roulette as it's the most constant win. 
 
So I enter the roulette room and stick a quid on red, hit autoplay, 50 rounds, begin. The action has begun. 
 
Now at this point I'd like to point out that these offers tend to get flung at me on Fridays because everyone knows that responsible gambling is best promoted on a Friday night when people are pissed, this includes me. So usually when this happens I open a tab on my PC, do the autoplay thing and hop on the ps4. Like I did last time. 
 
Now you guys all know the loveable affable chappie I am after a few drinks so last time I did this I was prompted to pick a name. After a few beers. 
 
Anyway, fast forward a few months to this afternoon and the wheel is spinning, when the croupier (the well dressed meth heads who manage to keep the shakes off long enough to spin a wheel on a table) starts talking about horses. 
 
A bit confused, I put it down to him chatting to one of the players or something. Yet he goes on about touching horses, how disgusting this is, how unacceptable, etc. Proper moody, but I'm just watching the wheel spin and the ball hit the reds. 
 
This goes on for 10 mins or so, eventually penny drops when I win again and see my username pop up as a winner on the screen. I giggle to myself. 
 
He goes on. Horses this, inappropriate that, and he's getting more and more irritated. Eventually he reports me to the roulette police who then change my name to something less horsy. 
 
I've still not said a word in chat or anything, the only way he's seen my name is when I win. So now I wanna play his game. 
 
Hit settings. Change name. "safespacepls". Submit. Ha, that'll learn 'im. 
 
He starts flapping again at how disgusting this is and says it's unacceptable that I changed my name back again. The roulette police step in again and he's put his dummy back in. 
 
Confused, I try again. "safespacepls". He kicks off again, each time getting angrier and angrier. 
 
Eventually he's having a moment about how the supervisors are never quick enough to action these pigs who pick these names. The table is spinning. The ball is in action. Whilst he's having a flap, I'm trying to figure out why my name won't change, and in doing so keep changing it back from my supervisor - assigned name to my original name. 
 
The wheel slows, the ball lands on red. My name flashes on the screen so he can see it. He rips his cute little coat off, exclaims THAT'S IT and storms off. Someone else takes his place, sees my name and smiles, but never speaks it out loud. He's one of us. 
 
So today was the first time in many, many years I've managed to get a croupier to rage quit and it was completely unintentional.
