    Not quite a technology of yesterday but Blu-Ray DVDs. Instead of streaming old films (and some new ones) that I want to watch I buy them on E-Bay for about the same cost of a stream and then I own them. They won't disappear overnight if I leave Netflix, etc or the streaming service doesn't host them any more

    @Greboth I'm thinking of building a small server over the winter to host Minecraft on. Got any idea of specs for hosting modded MC for say six of us? I'd like to combine it with a media server if possible. Currently scouring YT

    Apologies for the video quality but it was quite a while ago. St Etienne had a certain Mr Platini playing for them. This was my first "European Tour" and it was almost a bucket list destination. That was after hearing the "Green Roar" against Liverpool FC on a tinny tranny in the '70's. The green roar was quite muted as the game went on and the home support melted away as the fourth goal went in IIRC the away support for that match was about 400. The coach trip was 18 hours each way with two drivers hot shopping. Despite all the fan problems of the time, there wasn't a single arrest at any of our EUFA Cup away games.
