It’s that time of year … Nominations are now open for the FG Game of the Year 2024! We will follow a similar structure to last year. Please respond to this thread with your 5 games that you think deserve to be nominated for Game of the Year. Rules: - Game must have released in 2024 - Remakes are allowed (e.g. Silent Hill 2) - Remasters not allowed (e.g. The Last of Us 2 Remastered) I think that covers most things. If you have any questions or suggestions let me know. Nominations will close at 23.59 on 23rd December, so you have 2 weeks to nominate! For my fellow Xbox players - how does your year in review look? My most played game was COD and that was only BO6, followed by Star Wars Outlaws then Gears 5 👍🏻

How is everyone getting on with the Venasaur Drop event? I managed to get the Venasuar in my second pack, but haven’t found another one yet!

I have to say - I’m really happy with the games this month 🤣 I’ve never played It Takes Two and heard it’s amazing so I’m happy with that! I’ve had my eye on Aliens: Dark Descent for a while now and was waiting for a really good sale, this is even better! So I’m really excited to try this one out! TemTem I will try, Palworld was a fun Pokemon like game and hopefully this one will be too. So yeah, might not be the best for most people but I’m pretty happy!

I ageee with Red Card. I don’t like it on some game modes but then I do quite enjoy it on Hardpoint 🤷🏼‍♂️

I would have to say Payback is my No.1! I also like Subsonic, Babylon & Skyline. The new map Hideout is ok so far and can see it growing on me. I’m undecided on Extraction …

Wow that’s an impressive collection!! I agree they need to improve the online battling and I’m sure they will get it right eventually! Packed this Charizard yesterday!

I am loving this game! Both the collecting and battling is a lot of fun! I wish there were better rewards for winning battles, 15xp is just not enough! I also think there is a massive advantage for going second in battling which is very strange! Thought I would share some of my best shinys so far!

A new mobile Pokemon game based on the trading cards. You collect Pokemon cards and battle them against other people (or solo matches against AI). It’s like Marvel Snap but for Pokemon. I’ve been playing it today and have to say it’s a lot of fun and quite addicting! I actually really enjoyed the campaign on this COD! I thought quite a few of the levels were brilliant!

Of course! Although I’m still undecided if I should try and get the kids to support them or not as I don’t think they deserve to go through the constant disappointments and heartbreak year after year 🤣 Although maybe that builds character? 🤔

I only have the controllers and headset that I bought at launch with the PS5! I’ve been looking recently at purchasing a ‘pro’ controller, however I’m not willing to spend hundreds so I’m looking for a budget one. I’ve been looking at the 8bitdo Ultimate controller, it’s only £55 and appears to have the Hall effect sticks, back buttons etc. However it seems to only be for Xbox so I’d be stuck with the standard controller for PS5! So long story short is no I haven’t got any PS5 accessories but would love some recommendations for cheap pro controllers 🤣
