No weapons case progress isn't being reset I'll edited the list!
 
Although I literally just 2 minutes ago extracted case 7 from Al Mazrah! I've had some interesting runs with the weapons case!

Already earned rewards can be kept except for Contraband and Keys Contraband and Keys are being Wiped Insured slots unlocked can be kept New faction "Crown" for MWII owners Existing Faction's getting new rewards and updated missions therefore back to Tier 1 for everyone New Exclusion Zone "Ashika Island" New Boss and Weapons Case with new rewards. Presumably this is the same method as the other cases, kill the boss, extract with the weapon case Al Mazrah and Building 21 Weapons Case rewards remain the same and progress is retained Plane crash added to Sattiq caves area AI Tuning  Improved Spawn Points I'm really excited about the change in Sattiq caves point I think this is a really interesting development and basically converts this area of sattiq to be just like Afghan from the OG MW2
 
If there are any rewards from faction missions that you want then now is the time to complete those missions and don't be sentimental about that Contraband or any of your Keys they are all disappearing on the 15th so just use them!
No rush on weapons cases. 
 

In MWII scorestreaks everytime. You get points from objectives, assists and field upgrades. 
 
I'm also pretty sure that assists also includes UAV and CUAV assists,

That’s true but you don’t need to get the 3 safes in the same run as you extract the 100k

I had to really fight for the Robin Hood mission, destroy supplies was giving me 1 safe and at times none, in the end I did it with a deckhands tool box key (24k always inside it), a loot of saweh hotel on this run it had like 45k of loot and a couple of nuclear material contracts.
 
it’s mostly massive RNG sometimes the hotel can have less than 5k loot and others it can have 50k plus

I’ve looked at and considered Tarkov however I feel as it seems a bit more hardcore, more technical and with much more depth which honestly is a good thing but for me I like the party style nature of DMZ. Whereby you can still have a good match even if you enter with nothing. 

I had AI shoot my hostage in a match about a week ago, there was masses from all tiers outside of the building when I came out with the hostage. 
 
I know for sure if I found a random hostage and helo unattended I would certainly consider taking the hostage out.

there is no way to guarantee it, you can try and cheese it by having two parties attempt to join a game at the same time, then once in the game someone types something into the match chat and see if you can see it, or compare the number in the lower left corner during loading this is a match session specific number. 

I thought it could be a nice idea to collect some DMZ tips in the same space. Please post your DMZ tips below!! 
 
I'll start. 
 
After dying when starting a fresh deployment never take your insured gun in with you. You have no gear so you have nothing to lose take a basic contraband gun if you have to but wait until you have at least a 2 plate vest to take your insured gun into the game.

Have you ever seen so many safes? we completed a Destroy Supplies contract I've never seen this many nearby safes, When I was trying to complete the 3 safes in one deployment I was lucky if a single safe was showing!

Apparently dead drops are being moved to new locations too

This is quite risky as both AI and other Operators can kill the hostage. I find if you want to hold the hostage mission you are better off taking the contract but not unlocking the building until you are ready for it. 

I generally only used to buy the map packs when there was new Zombies content, 

Just recently extracted my final weapons case in Al Mazrah, 
 
I've had some really interesting runs on the weapons case, with both bad and good players, I recall a few runs in particular,
 
My first was hell of a match, we took down the Jugg at Zarqwa Squad mate picked up the case, I hung back re-plating and re-arming a Squad (two man) turned up and took out the two players in front and whilst they were looting them I was able to get in the building and take them both out got the revive on my team mates. Then a second squad (three man) pulled up in an LTV, two of them stormed and we took them out, they pled for help and my team mates accepted them, the third didn't respond to invites stayed in the LTV and tried to blast us from the turret so I went to the roof and took him out. We extracted that as a 5 man. 
 
Then one of the next was with some absolute gigachad beasts, they were in a two man and I was the rando, We spawned in Jugg was at Zaya, they just ran straight for it took the jugg out and we got a hostage extract also within Zaya, we had the case and were out of the match before the timer even hit 20 minutes. 
 
To extract the next case I had to hard carry some real potatoes, Jugg at All Sharim Pass they just ran straight at him with one plate vests and no actual extra plates Leeroy Jenkins style and went straight down I had to play it safe managed to loop the jugg around a rock and slowly chip away at his armour to take him out I may have even had to fill up with a munitions box part way through. I was dead proud of that run and felt really good about it. 
 
Another good one was with two randoms, we'd had done a couple of contracts got some nice loot and had just had a wholesome game, they wanted to exfil in the weapon case area which was at Al Sharim Pass, I knew the direction we were heading in and knew a tactic to get the Jugg down quite easily (from TheSpazo on YT) so I ran on ahead and got him downed and got the weapons case as the others caught up, Exfil was less than 100m away so we just ran for it knowing it was unlikely that another team would get to us before we reached it. 
 
Many of the others were matches where someone had attempted to take out the weapons case but had been taken out by AI and I took a detour either on my own or with the squad whilst on the way to exfil then met back with the squad at exfil. Like the most recent one I found three player packs inside a hostage contract building next to the weapons case picked up the pack and re joined the squad at exfil. 
 
 

I’m waiting until Season 2 drops or at least until there is some official news before passing judgement but it’s not looking good for MWII at the moment Warzone 2.0 is getting all of the love. 
 
although I do have to say that I am actually OK with MP as it currently stands, sure I would like more maps, maybe a bit of a tweak to the UI but I’m still enjoying the game and don’t regret the purchase.

6v6 maps content is lacking for sure, great to see additional game modes however it looks like they will be on rotation rather than permanent at least for public play?

My biggest gripe is with how far down you have to click to do things, if you are customising a weapon you have to click the back button maybe 6-7 times to get back to the lobby,
