I main a Titan so these are my thoughts on them:
 
Shotguns as heavies. WTF. This pissed me off immensely at first but I think it'll work out. 
 
Shoulder charge now has a cooldown and is no longer a OHK. That's a massive problem for me.
 
The little shield thingy as a Striker is ace, really throws off enemy teams.
 
The new competitive 4v4 is fantastic, and a million miles better than that shitty Trials. Needs supers removed though, whichever team has their supers first wins that round and that's the end of it.
 
The strike seems decent enough, we aced it in one go but some other teams took a few goes. The difficulty is much higher than D1 but then we're still rolling in noob gear so when we've got loads of fancy stuff it might be a different story.
 
Overall I'm enjoying it so far and am looking forward to the launch. It's just different enough from D1 to be called a new game rather than an xpac which was a huge factor for me.

Good morning folks, my wedding anniversary today. We don't really do cards presents and stuff for anything but wife bought a box of retro sweets for us.

The first look at the Ataribox. This is the new console that will initially be crowdfunded. No news on whether it will have new games as well as nostalgic ones. However it's been confirmed that it has an SD slot, HDMI output and four USB ports so new games could be on the cards.
 
I love the look of it, very sleek but the proof is always in the game offering.

Gonna set one up next week I reckon as the Destiny Beta is probably gonna take up most peoples time this week.

Countdown is amazeballs. I even doubted 4v4 competitive wasn't sounding the way to go but this absolutely opens up PvP to a new dimension. My favourite game mode as well - Search and Destroy. It is such good fun.
 
Titan's also have the Titan exclusive exotic Minigun 'Sweet Business'. Great gun, top precision with it and one of my favourite guns. Also, if people were worried about Hand Cannons not packing a punch, they still do. You still have to be decent to shoot one though and it isn't full of them currently which is nice to see.

Small issue, but is there possible to move General Gaming above Gaming Genre? I feel PPR's are more frequented than the topics in Genre. Even though there's no hazzle scrolling down it would feel a bit easier.

Monkey Island, hell YES! That game was superb. I re-bought it when it appeared on the xbox 360 arcade.
 
Nothing better than coming home after school to work out the combinations to the hilarious conversations when trying to win sword fights.

Gemini Rue, Technobabylon, Resonance, Shardlight, A Golden Wake and the Blackwell Collection are fantastic. The Monkey Island games are also worth a look if you haven't played them already along with the Broken Sword collection. 

Some of the best memories I have of my gaming life come from the old school point and click adventure style games from the 80s and 90s.  All of the Sierra games like the Kings Quest series, Space Quest, and Police Quest.....other notables like The Quest for Glory series, Gold Rush, Leisure Suit Larry, Colonols Bequest, Dagger of Amom Ra, Phantasmagoria, Sherlock Holmes, Myst, Willy Beamish, Freddy Pharkas, etc.
 
anybody into these types of games?  Interested in hearing any recommendations.  They're all super easy to find and download nowadays and I'm looking to jump back into these old school games and try some out

if you look the guy up, he's pretty well known in the gaming community.  He was the community manager for call of duty for a few years.  I fucking love what he's done through twitch, hilarious stuff
