    The more I read it looks like there will be mod slots for each gun but unsure what they will do and its almost certain they won't be here at launch. I think they designed the guns early on in development to make it easier for them, without realising why people grind continually for the same gun. I do get though that they have to fix this approach. I've never really wanted to grind as much as I did for a slightly better roll. I'd much rather drop the gun once and then modify.

    In case you need any prompt to get your skates on when it comes out, its been confirmed that they will stock the SNES from Sept 29th until Dec 31st. So it's another limited time product, which they have said they will make many more consoles than the NES outing. Just hope people don't get shafted as the demand for this already seems huge.

    So we got some info from the weekly update from Bungie. From July 25th the clan leader can decide to keep their ownership and also turn it into a Destiny 2 clan. Just so you all know, this is an absolute given. The clan cap in Destiny 2 will remain at 100 players per clan. You can also assign one clan per platform. Therefore I believe we will need to create a Forever Gaming clan for PC asap. 100 players is a lot to have on a roster and I'll be the first to say that would be amazing - we can do that btw. We do need to start picking these elements back up again as the beta is just around the corner. I'll be having a look at the Bungie website in a little more detail as we probably need to have some regular presence on there too.

    Trust me, because both of you haven't played Destiny before you literally won't have a problem. This game will be an even bigger success for you guys. Imo the game will be at least the base game of D1 plus extras. You will not have anything to worry about. This game really will be a great game and I can't see the player base going anywhere.

    I think we can compare but it's the way we compare is the issue for me. Don't be unrealistic and set ridiculous expectations. We all want the best but nothing is perfect. For me it will be based on how good the launch is but more importantly coupled with how they react in the first month to what may need to be tweaked and balanced out. A grinding game takes some time to formulate your overall impression.

    That's the point. We all know already it won't be a big leap so everyone is worried that the game won't match expectations. The point here is not to compare with D1 like that but I get that is extremely hard not to. Overall D1 was an amazing success. That's why we want it to be even more amazing. We will get our money's worth. I just hope the game mechanics have been refined rather than overhauled as we all can easily forget we might've had our gripes with D1 but we all have never said its a shit game. If its the more of the same with added bonuses then I'm game.

    I think I just face facts. I'm half decent at FPS games. Tactics get me through most PvP rounds rather than twitch skill. I just asess it like I do with personal life - whilst I love football I'm never gonna be a professional, so why buy the best boots on sale when half decent ones do the job. I love triple A games but I'm not sure the KB & M will make me amazingly brilliant at games. However, i might be completely wrong and could become awesome

    Maybe its just me but I feel there's a little nervousness lingering around avid Destiny gamers as the D2 beta looms. I'm just gonna put this out here that we all collectively as gamers need to give the game some time to bed in. Based on the info over the last few days and even previous to that, it is pretty certain their main issue they have tackled is the story. This probably means I'm only this at Didds - Don't say its shit because its only major overhaul is the story and you can't be arsed with cinematics and a story you don't want to bother to learn. Having a story means that what you do on Destiny will now make sense and have a purpose, rather than aimlessly doing random stuff and not really getting it. They will make multiple tweaks to different mechanics but we have to be realistic - a 10 year game won't have 10 year's worth of content straight away. You know though the blueprint of Destiny will have shit loads to do. Tldr - Give the game time, it'll turn out alright. Believe.

    I personally don't think so. If I game on a PC I would still generally want to use a controller over mouse and keyboard. What's wrong with that? Thanks @Greboth and @BO7H B4RRELS. Those look the right sizes so I may have a chance to start looking at this however I'm not in a major hurry.
