Resurrecting this thread as its not far away. Anyone looking forward to this at all? Its probably the one series on TV that I got hooked on and waiting for this season has felt like its been years away. They've released the titles and synopsis for each episode - I'm reluctant to read it because it has some spoilers. Apparently every episode is like a movie. Lets hope so.

What % are you through? Do you think grouping up would help beat it? I remember Crispy getting a massive old sword that is the best weapon in the game after Chip shown him where it was. That may help if Crispy remembers where it was? I think it was over at an island across the sea.

What you should expect: Homecoming: The opening mission and cinematics from Destiny 2’s Campaign. Countdown: Enter the Crucible to battle other Guardians in a brand new mode. Attack or Defend the base on a new map custom-built to support this new game type. Control: The original standard for Crucible combat is back, with some impactful changes. Control the zones on another new map built with this objective in mind. The Inverted Spire: Strike at the heart of a Vex stronghold. Bring two willing allies, or let Matchmaking introduce you to a Fireteam of Guardians. New Subclasses: The new fighting style for each Class will be at the ready. Choose from the Dawnblade Warlock, Arcstrider Hunter, or Sentinel Titan. The Farm: For one hour, on Sunday, July 23, we’re inviting you to tour the new social space in Destiny 2. Starting at 10AM Pacific, you’re welcome to kick the ball into the net or befriend a chicken. Most vendors and services will be offline. Our goals are to see how many of you it can accommodate at once. What you should not expect: Clan Support: It’s true that Clans will be supported in Destiny 2, but those features are not a part of this test. Character Progression: You’ll receive rewards for defeating your enemies – be they Cabal, Vex, or other Guardians – but the Beta does not represent how your characters will evolve in Destiny 2. Character Continuity: Destiny 2 is a fresh start. Nothing we do in the Beta will carry over to the final version of the game on September 6. Of course, for every rule, there is an exception…

It was reported yesterday that it won't stay in early access for long. 6 months in fact; October. However Brendan Greene from PUBG has suggested that its definitely Q4 this year rather than October. That's pretty good news still. I would expect it means a ton of content drops for the rest of the year.

Do we know what type of character he will be? From the looks of it he has a shield like Winston / Zarya instead of a heal.

I haven't seen anything about locking the tower down by the clan but would make some sort of sense if you could. They were showing it like the Tower for what I took from it.

First look at the social space! Apparently the social space will be for up to 26 Guardians at a time. Also, Rahool won't be there! The Cryptarch from the Iron Temple, Kyra, will be there instead to RNG shaft us once again! Oh, and chickens! Looks a decent first look, looks a little more hands on, close up, feel to it. What do you reckon?

Absolutely what I want to do. I'd rather be on hand to run with other people and enjoy the content rather than blast through it. Saying that I'm going to guess we'll end up playing so many hours initially we could get near it just by default. Did anyone catch the end of the video about constant info coming out in July? Really hopeful it can bring more insight as its been difficult to find many nuggets of info.

Not much to go on so far but it's still a good video from MoreConsole. By the sounds of it, RAID 5 will be out within days of the launch. I'm really hoping that doesn't mean we can easily grind our way there that quickly. Making the raid a place that looks real is a good news story. What needs to back this up though is the crucial raid mechanics. I think they learned a lot from Kings Fall illogical and non-sensical mechanics like running around in a circle to stay alive, and put some of those things right in WotM. With them looking at the death penalty too, we've just gotta hope they don't make the mechanics too easy, not because the mechanic itself is but that the factors around make it ultra easy to cheese because easy revives or have all Warlock raids for example.

I was pretty much always going to start like this but get one that can be wired as well as I know it'll affect response times. Because you asked - No. Mate, seriously. That's like having the old Mega Drive controller where you could set the C button to be hit like Thompson Daley's 100m sprint. That's not skill.
