    I haven't got OW but I'm ready to try Rainbow 6 on one of these nights again. I agree. We should get the patch update then get all in on it. We just need more lists of what people have. Actually, what's the FG Steam group again? We need to resurrect it.

    Thanks for letting us know Rich. Does that mean they wiped our old game world completely? If so, how will they ensure it doesn't happen again? I think Phil mentioned about waiting for the Alpha drop, which I agree with, before we start a new world.

    Upgrade took place to IPS 4.3.1 We now have more native emojis as standard. One issue I do see is menu options are a darker font now. I'll look into that tonight to brighten them up. We've potentially got quite abit of stuff to do backend now so if there are things that are bugging you, please shout up.

    Here's the Season 3 reward. Really glad its a Tex Mechanica gun and the perk is beastly. Desperado is a brand new perk - Reload while Outlaw is active and increases rate of fire without lowering impact. Attached to the highly-elusive Fabled Rank in Glory.

    Yep, riskrunner gives that both perks for attack and defence but obviously you only get the attack damage buff if you're using the gun. On the Hardlight front, the below video will just show how key it will probably be in a Nightfall with any damage type that can be used.

    May brings the Crucible updates that gives a little more purpose to playing Crucible. There are 2 modes: Valor – A progression rank that goes up as you complete matches. Winning helps you move up faster, but there are no loss penalties. Glory – A progression rank that goes up when you win and down when you lose. Performance is how you move up here. I believe there is 5 ranks for Glory, which is essentially Competitive Ranked Play. The good news is that there is a reward to chase which is a Pulse Rifle (I'll grab when I have time) that looks a monster of a gun. It also can only be received as a reward from Season 3. Having rewards good enough is key to a rank system, although Overwatch doesn't seem to have a problem with no rewards the higher you go due to its model. Anyone thinking of playing some of this? I mean, I feel more incentivised to play if there is a number pushing me on to play.

    When I mentioned about emoji support a few months back, this will come later tonight when I do an upgrade. I'll be checking if there's any other key improvements to call out and will post up later. As a separate note, I will be looking into the other sections again to technically bring more to FG. I may require support on this from others but will shout once I need that.

    They also confirmed that nearly every exotic has been reworked and effectively upgraded. From what I cam remember from the stream: Hard Light - Similar to Borealis sniper, it now has all types of energy that you can swap whilst firing with the reload button. Sturm - Get a precision kill and then allows your next kill can become a 2 shot kill. Both shots just need to hit the target. Riskrunner - Will give a significant Arc damage buff when used but also reduce Arc damage (even if its just equipped) by around 50%. This is pretty huge advantage when defending against Arcstrider super or on a mainly Arc damage Nightfall.

    Tractor Cannon Update - A shot creates a large void damage buff so you can stack void damage abilities afterwards to destroy high value targets as you can see in Houndish's first 2 minutes of the video below

    In case you wondering, they are making the right moves. The grind for Power is more in line now with what we'd expect it to be.

    What was good to hear so far is that no one has really stream anything of the campaign parts so far. DLC related alone, the view is we'll be getting similar to Osiris DLC in regards to new story missions, new adventures and new quests. New place to explore (Ice caps on Mars) which is far bigger than Mercury. I think the key to it this one being worthwhile is the new horde/patrol/wave mode called Escalation Protocol. In direct comparison to Osiris, we had guns to grind for from existing content whereas this is a new mode entirely that will have a unique reward from each boss. Apparently, they had one final chance after the Summit to take on feedback from the youtube and twitch attendees and crank the difficulty up a notch. I'll add other elements on different threads as not all relate to DLC. Oh, almost forgot. 16 exotics come in with DLC. 8 new and 8 old, including the Sleeper Simulant. I'm really hoping for a secret quest to chase for that one. Not something that is just handed to you.
