Destiny Game Update - 27th November (2.1.0)

Pretty significant changes made with this update. The ones I think that I like and are most helpful are: Malfeasance Exotic buff - needed a buff and it's now great to use in Gambit. Gambit Meatball will spawn loads more in every week. I didn't get it last night but this is the middle week and it's way more frequent next week. However, I need the cosmetic drops so more of these spawning will mean more chances to get them but for others that haven't got Malfeasance, it's their chance to get the Quest to drop. Banshee the Gunsmith will give you packages every 25 weapon parts, not 100. Really good for trying to find a god roll. 6 Spider bounties giving Enhancement (Masterwork) Cores. More ways to get them finally but more importantly gives more of an incentive to do other Spider Bounties rather than just the weekly one. At the same time, holding 20 rather than 10 Ghost fragments is really helpful too on Tangled Shore. Finally Exotic duplicates will be far less! Hurray! Also, with quest weapons being removed from the loot pool (shouldn't have ever been there in the first place) this will give everyone more excitement over dropping an Exotic engram now.- 3 replies

There will still be overtime if time runs out with progress present, and the Breaker will go to the team with current progress at the end of 30 seconds, or to the high-water mark if progress reaches zero with no players on the Breaker. While a team is hacking the other team’s Vault, progress decay accelerates gradually during Sudden Death for up to 30 seconds, after which the round will end the moment no attackers are present in the capture zone. If the round ends in a draw twice, the match ends in a tie. Neither team will get Glory points from this scenario. Win Streaks are maintained. Little surprised it took you this long for the mum comment. I watched a brief video that told me that SMGs don't beat any AR at any distance, apart from the Spitfire. What attachments have you got on it? -
For some reason I didn't fully check the list but this seems to be the latest one. I'm actually surprised in a nice way that some of the titles are included: Battle Arena Toshinden Cool Boarders 2 Destruction Derby Final Fantasy VII Grand Theft Auto Intelligent Qube Jumping Flash Metal Gear Solid Mr Driller Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee Rayman Resident Evil Director’s Cut Revelations: Persona Ridge Racer Type 4 Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo Syphon Filter Tekken 3 Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Twisted Metal Wild Arms Twisted Metal and Destruction Derby were 2 of my favourite games, alongside FF7, Tekken 3 and Ridge Racer 4. Whilst I'm as interested now as I was with the SNES, for someone like me it doesn't really give me anything more. I own most of these on original PS1 and you could probably pick up the ones you care about the most with a second hand PlayStation for peanuts.

Vapr is wrecking me, Maddox is wrecking me so it could be one of them. I want Swordfish but that slows my play down which if I'm just in the mood for ultimate casual fun, this doesn't really work for me. High fire rate is winning for me atm so Vapr could win even though I haven't even tried it. -

Any gameplay of it anywhere? I do enjoy a good game trailer, however without seeing anything that resembles in game actions I'm not sure what to expect.

This. Looks like a Fortnite copy to me. I ain't bothered about it, not if its just cosmetic stuff like sprays. They were the bain of my life in Overwatch.

Told you.... Feels Marmitey to me. I enjoy Destiny PvP and Overwatch and I get a very similar experience with this. If i'm not on my game then I get well and truly fucked. Thats okay though, thats just PvP games for me.

LOLZ @Diddums. This is why I love you. Also, that right there is usually the gauge that it is actually a really good game - you being hyped about a game in the first 7 days usually ends in the opposite *cough division cough* 😘 I think you wouldn't give two tits to my view but I'm with @Dan94 and @Shucker on this. As is I think quite a lot more than normal. The spawns I agree with 100%, as do I with a few other points you make, however after one game you cannot make that view for the whole of the game. I think you've just worn put of the CoD style of the game. But the funny thing is, this the most unlike CoD game I can remember and that's why it's the best game they've had in years. TTK is spot on. It no longer feels a game that is all about Twitch, more so about Tactics (this is where I probably lose you 😁). You can't race around and get tons of kills straight away with the health pack model they have, which they've never done before. It really works. It also gives you certain points where a 1v1 gunfight you can actually react and get out of. Admittedly, snipers feel a little OP with OHK but with a few tweaks they'll work pretty well in the long run. Blackout looks very smooth to me and that's hugely different to PUBG imo. They couldve gone further but they didn't and that's a marketing stunt, but hey I'm not gonna knock them for still making a game mode that works and is solidly made. Fortnite is maybe more fun but really now about how much you can cramp your hand into multiple spasms so you can build the most prettiest mansion just to stay safe from bullets. The funniest part of all of this though is I found myself thinking 'This is a little like Rainbow 6' 😂 Yep, our running joke that all games are like, we actually have one! And it's better because of it. More people want tactics and strategy out of games rather than that bullshit twitch nonsense we've always had in CoD. The operators have something different that is so much better than just looking at what grenades to stick on. Pick 10 has always worked well and I think @ChaosGladiator called it out perfectly, that you are feeling like shit because the learning curve at the start is pretty steep, more because the guns are dogpike without the attachments and upgrades. Some we win, some we lose but the gameplay with no jumpy backpacks is really fun. That's what it always boils down to. If we have people playing here then this game is just as fun as Overwatch was back in the day. Compared to many here that were/still are amazingly good at CoD, I am dogshit but I'm having way more fun than previous titles. Tldr. CoD took some best bits out of AAA games and put them together to make a game that is actually fun and not all about Twitch skills anymore. Thank Fuck. P.S. I helped a few people on Destiny last few days as we're trying to get Power Levels up so more people are raid ready. Want to get back on it over the next few days but I'm out Saturday and back late tonight. Maybe Sunday night is available though.

Nice Phil. Greebs, not seeing your time anywhere? Now I've realised I didn't turn on BoP for the first race but now I have, I'll have a look where to find ABS settings aswell. Not gonna try manual gears Phil, I'd love to say maybe in the bear future but it's probably easier for me to just concentrate on getting corners right and having a full clean lap. -

Time - 2:22.060 Car - 458 Italia GT3 '13 Much better track and on my 5th lap I've got this. I know with some more time I can easily get this down, just managed to squeeze this out whilst I have the kids on a day off. Good shout Gary to go back and do my driving lessons I hadn't finished, finally dropped a Gr.3 car! -
