  1. I think its about time to open the floodgates. This will be a separate thread to the other one so this can be used for all spoilers and people wanting to talk about the Avengers Endgame and whats happened. It was physically and mentally hurting me every day that passed that I hadn't seen it. So much so, I ended up buying one ticket to the cinema on the latest showing a few days ago. Never have I ever been to the cinema on my own but it had to happen and i'm super glad i've now watched this. What a movie. For a fan of Marvel and the little links between each character it was brilliant. I'd argue that it felt like more of a celebration of the Avengers team and especially the original crew rather than an amazingly epic film. Don't get me wrong it is a fantastic movie and i'd give it a 9.5/10 but don't be surprised if people that aren't fans and haven't watched most of the films say its a bit long and probably think its more like an 7/8. @TigerBurge, you called it Chris. Iron Man was literally the one to start it off and it was a great but gut-wrenching end to these films. The best bits for me were clearly Captain America wielding Thor's Hammer and watching everyone come back into the fight. That was amazing to see, just all the gold rings appear, making the whole cinema shine bright and the best group of superheroes to walk in together as one. The nostalgia of them using time travel in the way they did I thought really worked. I'm usually switched off by time travel as you can pick holes in it everywhere but the idea on how it went back to sections within films we've already watched was great. I wasn't touched by the ending of Black Widow as I thought I would be. Equally, Hulk was great to start with but i'm just not sure it worked fully because he became more in the background for the most part. Marvel was not in at all but I guess it wasn't so much about her and more about the mainstay of the last 10 years. For some reason I didn't expect Captain's ending. I was happy he was alive but then for the twist at the end it was a sad one. I don't think anyone can play Captain America ever again. He is the Cap'n. The last section hit me hard. Bitter sweet most say but I suppose all good things come to an end. I was happy with how it went. Now I can look back across 22 films and think this was one of the most enjoyable film experiences I've ever had. Excelsior!
  2. Oh yeah, Salah missing that sitter and hitting the post pretty much nailed shut the comeback.
  3. If you want to take the one shining light of the whole thing so far its got to be SFX that have been integrated. Same when he does his spin off the car. For a half a second, it looks incredible and then he opens up from his sonic ball shape. Balls.
  4. Happy birthday @Deaththewolf32! We hope you have an awesome day my friend 😎👍
  5. I've watched a tiny bit of gameplay today and I must admit it looks like they've done a great job. Initial feedback i'm hearing is the shooting has been done right this time whereas on previous Borderlands games they were a bit clunky. I only played a bit of BL2 so I can't really comment myself on that. This could land really REALLY well in September against not much competition either.
  6. Do you think you guys will test it out?
  7. Really nice to see a game like this do well but in reality I just won't buy it unless the multiplayer side of things was a whole lotta fun with people here. Looking at some of the videos it's very bright and colourful and i'm a big fan of the sound and voiceover for the story. The sale is on until 9th May so for only just over a tenner i'm beginning to change my mind whilst writing this.
  8. I can be the second man if needed
  9. Wowser. That's full commitment to a game that I didn't think was possible. Have the Guinness World Records got in touch? There's been ones given out for far more random ventures. If not, lets do him a certificate 🤪
  10. Nice one Space! Any recommendations out of those that you've already played?
  11. Might sound familiar to some new era pop addicts too.
  12. They said they wanted to see what a global change could do in a free event lasting 3 weeks. Whilst I think most people that understood what to do were having fun in the first 24 hours of PvP, you can see why you can't have something like that for a long period of time. It impacts too many people's progress on certain quests and activities. I've not really been playing any PvP since I heard about this. Thankfully PvP will be back to its usual self next Tuesday. I still need to get back on and get Arbelest, even if its just for my collection of dusty Exotics.
  13. Well, Liverpool a few months back could've won 3 to 4 trophies. After last night's 3-0 drubbing against Barcelona, they could end up with absolutely nothing. I don't think they'll be many football fans sending their support to them.
  14. Didn't think it was that bad but then again I don't usually watch a lot of live streaming anyway.
  15. Never, EVER, give up Dan. Sometimes we all need to take a minute or 5 minutes to really appreciate what we've done. Too many people live in the future and can easily forget how well they've done and how much they have changed for the better. This thread perfectly shows how much of a strong minded and willing individual you are. We all get setbacks, life isn't perfect (but then it would be boring wouldn't it ). The point is, you have to got up off your arse and you are not willing to accept your current career path. Many couldn't even make that call, let alone update your CV, apply for some new jobs, research into your new personal career path and get interviews and assessments. You are only one interview away from the person on the other side of the desk seeing your mentality and potential and giving you a chance. And you'll take it i'm sure. Make sure you keep reviewing your CV ahead of going for each job. Make sure you tweak specific words that are in the job profile you are going for and link them into key sections in your CV so you can show on paper you are naturally designed for that role. Keep. Going. You've got this far when millions haven't got past the first hurdle. You're farther ahead than you realise.
  16. Good find Gary, definitely will have a gander at these on the way to work next week. Not too long either.
  17. Thanks @Spacedeck, at least its this year which works for me. Could be a good early Christmas present for my me, er, I mean son.
  18. That's a great find McNasty, gonna share that one with my boy so he has some more games to play that are free.
  19. Yes, I do know you and storylines [emoji6] I actually get your last sentence and agree there's been more draw dropping moments prior to this. Playing devils advocate with myself, the darkness meant that it felt more like you were in the fight and trying to scurry around and work out who's still alive. It did had some intensity to it. My mate I've just played footy with has said he hopes we'll find out more of his background even though he is dead which I think is a given. A good theory is that he could have been a Targaeryan because how did he survive the Dragon's flames? Oh, another thing I was gonna say was people might feel Arya is OP and killing all the key people but if it gives the majority of fans a good feeling then what the hell is wrong with that? She is the ultimate badass and has made the series are far better with all the stuff she's done.
  20. I loved the episode. My only rant was that it was too dark in many minutes, although that didn't detract from the major parts of the fight. I'm still wondering whether or not there is only 1 dragon left as we only see 1 at the end. I'm with you Chris @TigerBurge as Bran seems to be getting even stranger by the second. I'm really wondering that the hell he'll be doing in the last 3 episodes. What got me the most is that the Whitewalkers are completely gone - at the end of episode 3. We now have 3 full feature films left to see who takes the Iron Throne. For me, that seems a lot of airtime to fill, especially as the first 2 episodes were all about the setup for the Winterfell battle. @techno, Joe really makes some good points and I do enjoy his videos but this one for me was just too far. I think you can just overcomplicate things and by hyper-critical the longer you have time to reflect. The initial reaction from most people was it was an amazing episode. Sometimes you have to not punch too many plot holes in it.
  21. Yeah...can't see that happening.
  22. Never played Arma 3, not sure i'd pay out for this - any way you can play the missions co-op?
  23. As its free, its gotta be worth a go Dan. I'd be happy to play more but may need to be nudged a little more on when there are certain wars or objectives we all need to participate in. @Plumbers Crack, if you or one of the regulars were to post up here when stuff is going on and whats required then there's a good chance more people will login and do whats required (I would i'm pretty sure of it). Have a word with Chris the Great if you're struggling to do it.
  24. I'll look to redownload it. I'm not playing any games really on my phone as i'd rather spend time here on the shitter but happy to give it a go again. What's the perks of the clan element @TigerBurge?
  25. Wouldn't make business sense to not port one of their already made fan favourites in favour of an unknown quantity.
